So I was in the market for a facial, and I googled spas near me and found Salon and Spa Vanessa. I chose it because it was the closest thing to where I was, lucky me. It sits in an old historic home. It's an Aveda spa. This whole place smells amazing. They've got great products. And then obviously, they're a good enough high-quality spa and salon to be able to carry the Aveda line in the first place. I understand they're fairly selective. So I got in same day for a facial, same morning, which was great because I hate waiting. Worked out perfect for me. The facial was great. Excellent experience from start to finish. Staff were warm and welcoming. I picked up my favorite candle, some hand wash, and got a little voucher for some money off my next different treatment since I was a first-time customer, new customer. Parking is free if you're there for the salon. Otherwise, you have to pay behind the building. Really nice experience. I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone in the Woodstock area looking for a nice spa treatment.

Next, when I was able to wash and dry my hair after a few days, I noticed that it was uneven and very heavy at the bottom. I looked like I had a mushroom cap haircut. The girl that cut my hair, Jessica B., had no knowledge of taking out the heaviness and weight since I have so much hair. And if she did, she didn't do it. Then, my daughter pointed out that the back of my head was still completely dark and not one highlight touched in that area. I asked for a partial refund since I only received a partial highlight and was denied that. I got my tip back and an apology. Just a big warning that if you are wanting a high-end service, this might not be the best place to receive that. The owners were not helpful at all.
