Let me send my highest endorsement for the work Jeff and the team at Barton Springs Painting. We undertook a massive project in remodeling a kitchen. New cabinets, doors, tongue and groove, beaded board and crown molding. A variety of woodwork with unique joinery and placement, but Jeff had answers for every situation presented. After the walk through, they came through at a price that was below our first bid and inline with a second, but we had full confidence in their ability which is a commodity itself. The prep work was impeccable and showed thoughtfulness and attention to detail. This put us at ease in our investment, but the follow through was impressive. In a remodel that had so many steps Barton Springs never left us questioning the work, their integrity or desire to leave us happy. After the final walk-through, they actually came back and fixed a detail that was our mistake, not theirs, because they desired us to be proud of their workmanship. There was NO details overseen, unexpected or miscommunication. They exceeded the expectations and finished on schedule. True professionals and definitely my new painter for any project I can think up! read more

Super friendly and responsive team that did an excellent job pairing various parts of my home! Would definitely recommend and would use them again in a heartbeat! read more

Of several contractors that bid our home exterior painting request, Barton Springs Painting was the one willing to detail the bid to our needs rather than a contractor cooky cutter process. My goal was to repair and use existing siding when possible and gain another ten or more years of use. Their bid was very sensible with our needs. I asked for best paint and caulk and they waited patiently for us to settle confidently on an exterior color. We were slow to realize our front door combo was rusted so BSP is patiently awaiting our front door special order to return and finish the project later. Carpentry was so smartly executed and the painters lay the paint on as the seasoned pro's they are. Jeff, our contact was helpful, patient, guided us...new to contracting. We are very happy BSP'ers! read more

We had the pleasure to work with Jeff at Barton Springs Painting on a project to repaint our master bedroom as well as two new interior doors and trim. From the moment we submitted our request, Jeff was very communicative regarding the pricing and timing for completion of the project. Even when several of his team members came down with illness, Jeff took on the project by himself, and he did a fantastic job. He even helped us paint an interesting and unique door which was not part of the original project, which turned out amazing! I would recommend Barton Springs Painting to anyone, and I will certainly use them again for our next project. read more

Bait and switch. I informed them how I've had such a hard time with painters in this area. They couldn't even get past the quote stage before they tried to change the deal. They proposed a cost. I accepted it. They changed it the day they were supposed to work. Completely shady. read more

Absolutely would recommend and use this company again. They just finished painting our house and did a fantastic job. The workers were very nice and super reliable. They took great attention to detail and made sure that everything was perfect. We had a lot of rotten siding, and they replaced all the rotten pieces before beginning the paint. As they were finishing, my husband noticed that they had painted the shutters the same light color as the rest of the house, as opposed to the darker color used for trim. Although he asked them to just leave him extra paint so he could repaint them, the crew came back on a Saturday morning to redo the shutters for us. Absolutely choose this company for your exterior painting needs. You won't regret it. read more

We had a great experience with Barton Springs Painting last month! We were able to schedule our free estimate quickly, Jeff was on time for our meeting and we got our emailed estimate fast. We had estimates done for painting our two story home exterior from 3 other companies as well. Barton Springs Painting fell in the middle of the 4 estimates and we chose them because of all their positive reviews and our interactions with Jeff. Our exterior looks beautiful now - so fresh and neat! All of the painters were friendly and polite and our yard was left in a neat state each day. We would definitely recommend this company! read more

I am so glad I reached out to Jeff and his team. I spoke to a few other companies for a garage renovation, before I came across Barton Springs Painting. After the initial call, I knew right away this was the team for the job. Compared to the other companies, Jeff, never made me feel like just another Job or payday.. They came by to look at the job, made some amazing suggestions and provided multiple options based on budget. They are super responsive, patient, hard working and really pay attention to details which is really hard to find these days. You can tell they really care about doing a good job, and pleasing their customers. The workers were professional, very friendly and and really took their time with the prep work, to ensure no mess will be made. after it was done, I was blown away, and I couldn't be happier with the results.. What a transformation, and what a great team.. I HIGHLY recommend them!! check out the before and after. What a transformation. read more

We had an amazing experience working with this company! This was our first house so we needed a lot of help. Jeff the owner gave us any quotes we needed. I also asked him for paint color referrals and he referred us to a paint specialist who was very talented and did an excellent job. His pricing was very fair. The painters were friendly and on-time. We were in a definite time crunch prior to move-in and he was extremely accommodating. Overall, this was a great experience and we really appreciate all of his professionalism & dedication. Very trustworthy! read more

Barton Springs Painting just completed a huge job at our house and we couldn't be happier with the results! They painted every cabinet, all walls and ceilings on the first floor our of house (approximately 3000 square feet), which took three weeks to complete. Jeff London gave us a fair and reasonable quote and his crew of painters were meticulous in their attention to detail. We have a lot of crown molding and numerous cabinets everywhere. Their thorough prep work in every room insured that the final result was flawless (see before and after pics below). The crew worked quietly and efficiently and at the end of each day (and they worked long hours) always tidied up the area where they were currently working. Jeff also connected me to Nancy Scott, who advised us on color selection. She was easy to work with and chose the perfect shades! Thanks Jeff, Oscar, Hector & Carlos! read more

Thoroughly recommend Barton Springs Painting. This is the 3rd time I have used them and Jeff and his crew did another great job. This time it was the full interior except the kitchen. Nearly 2 full days of prep work and taping/sealing off the floors/ceilings/cabinets before Oscar and the others starting applying their brushes. They are punctual, meticulous in their work and clean up behind them leaving no traces behind. I love the fact that toward the end of the project they provide you with a roll of painters tape and you can go around the house and mark off with the tape any areas that you think need a touch up, no questions asked. Jeff provided the paint finish recommendations which we followed to the letter and am really happy to see how the whole project turned out. read more

Jose and his team did a great job repainting our home exterior and ceiling! Had three shifting areas of our ceiling stripped, floated and re-textured. We've had other companies try to repair these areas with no luck, but the quality of Barton Springs Painting stands out. I can hardly tell the repaired areas apart! Their work is guaranteed by a TWO YEAR WARRANTY! It's so refreshing to see a company stand so firmly behind their work. The owner Jeff patiently walked us through the entire process. Jeff called in all the paint orders for us and we were able to pay Benjamin Moore directly over the phone. On point color match recommendations. Barton Springs Painting is an experienced client-centered company and it definitely shows! read more

I have worked with many paint contractors through the years and I am so happy to have heard about Barton Springs Painting. Jeff and his team are at the top of my list. In our initial meeting with Jeff, he described his process and immediately we felt confident that he was committed to the highest quality work. My wife and I have found that some painters don't take the time to properly prep the house for painting which can severely compromise the durability of the paint. Jeff's prep work on the exterior of the house was impeccable and the finished product was beautiful! I'm confident the paint job will last as long as Texas weather will allow! Jeff is totally professional and great to work with - he is extremely polite, great at communication and committed to making sure his clients get the highest quality service and product. We will definitely be using Jeff anytime we have painting that needs to be done! read more

Jeff at Barton Springs Painting showed me that he is unreliable, uncommunicative and completely wasted my time twice. No show, no call, nothing. I will not be using this company and would not recommend them. In response: Yes I am certain. My husband and I were very pleased with the work and customer service of Jeff and his crew at Barton Springs Painting. Jeff is passionate about his job and that is reflected in his quality of work. We had our kitchen entirely redone and the last step was painting our cabinets white. The cabinets recently survived a visit of rough preschoolers riding around on their toys and some spills of Indian cooking (which wiped off right away with a paper towel). Jeff was very prompt at returning my phone calls/texts and was very clear on what the process would be while his crew was here. Everything went very smoothly and the cabinets look fabulous! I am so glad we went through Barton Springs Painting.....they took their time to make sure everything was prepped before painting which resulted in a great paint job that will last. Thanks Jeff and crew! read more

I hired Barton Springs Painting to paint the exterior of my house. On the 9th day of work for a 5 day project, I had to let them go, after repeated attempts to correct the problems. After they applied the 2nd coat of paint, the paint began almost immediately to peel all the coats of paint off my siding, down to the wood. They first tried to correct the problem by just spraying another layer of paint on top of the peeling paint--it didn't work. They added elastomerics and/or water to the paint before spraying, and the excess moisture (in addition to painting while it was too wet outside), caused the paint to peel. The Benjamin Moore paint did not need any additives in order to spray paint, according to the company. They were much better at making promises about correcting the problems than they were about actually knowing how to do it. Even on the last day of work, they were still trying to start painting again before finishing the re-prepping of the scraping off of peeling paint. Not only I am out a LOT of money, but their work caused unsightly damage to my house, which is going to cost $2500-$3500 to repair by another company. Jeff tried to tell me that it was my siding that needed replacing, not his work. However, I have been making repairs myself on the 3 sides of the house that I can reach. After cleaning, scraping, wirebrushing, caulking, priming and painting, NONE of my work is peeling. So I don't think it is the siding that is the problem.... read more

Jeff and his team are truly excellent at what they do. Jeff came out personally to walk through the home with me and assess the scope of work, and provided some advice on paint type and color selection, since I'd never had a whole home painted before. Jeff also made me aware of the color consulting services that his team provides, although we didn't use them. His price was in line with my expectations and competitive with some of the other quotes I got, but I had a better feeling about working with Jeff than some of the others that tried for my business. Once I'd selected my colors and set a date, the team showed up right as scheduled, introduced themselves, and got right to work. They spent plenty of time very carefully preparing and protecting the home, and did a great job of that. They painted my whole downstairs - kitchen/greatroom, entry way, and one powder bath - over two days. Mistakes were very minor and quickly corrected, and when I noticed a few spots where the thick paint and heavy texture caused tiny (near-microscopic) missed spots, Jeff personally reviewed and corrected them the next day. I'm nearing being ready to paint the rest of my house, and I will be calling on Jeff's team again for sure. The downstairs has been done for several months, and now that I've lived with it a while, I'm so pleased with the job that Barton Springs Painting did. The walls look gorgeous, and I always get compliments. Highly recommended. read more

I can't say enough about how wonderful my experience with Barton Springs Painting was. Jeff is incredibly kind, professional, and hard working. I highly recommend Barton Springs Painting! Jeff, the owner, showed up at the agreed time, is very knowledgeable about his craft, and gave us a fair price for the work. It could not have been a better process. read more

I've known Jeff London and Barton Springs Painting for a minute. They actually painted interior and exterior of our house about 5 years before we bought it. Update- After leaving my review, the owner of this business sent me intimidating (repeated) messages via Yelp insisting we needed to 'meet in person' and also put my address in the note to let me know they knew where I lived. Ironically they had both the address and my name wrong. Original review- They say they're not "Superman" - it's just rude to take someone's time and break an appointment. You never tell a customer that others are more important! ---They replied to my review so as to deflect blame on me. Truth is they made the appointment KNOWING we had a time crunch, I was clear upfront about- then they canceled at the last minute. The result of this was that I wasn't able to get anyone else in there in time and had to go to craigslist for help. read more

Jeff London and his team of painters are a wonderful asset to the community of homeowners, renters, and property managers here in Austin. They are kind, thoughtful, compliant, and flexible. As importantly, their rates are very reasonable, and their work is professionally done. When my wife and I contacted Barton Springs Painting, Jeff himself got back to us within 24 hours, came by to take a look at the project within two days, and had everything in motion by the following Monday. Our house went from looking like an outdated disaster area to having all the charm of a modern home within a span of 36 hours. Jeff charged us his own costs for materials (very affordable paint and primer rates) and got the job done exceptionally well. To give a sense of the work completed, we had just had insulation put in the walls and there were resurfaced bore holes everywhere, black hand marks on the ceiling (left from the past crew's work), and the walls themselves were a pleasant, if quaint, yellow. Jeff's team came in, refinished and resurfaced the marked up areas, and painted multiple coats on the walls, leaving the house looking strangely new. There is no evidence of past work done on the home's walls at all. I would recommend Barton Springs Painting to anyone who seeks to have a team of upbeat, happy professionals working on and in their home. read more

I contracted them to remove my popcorn ceiling and paint the interior of my home. They did NOT cover to protect my furniture, my hardwood floors, light fixtures, or smoke detectors. When they removed my ceiling fans, they destroyed them and I had to replace them. They left two gouges in my hardwood flooring, and left paint drippings on my furniture and EVERY light switch and plug outlet was painted over. They were the most expensive bid I received so I incorrectly assumed they would be the best. When I asked them to correct their mistakes, their responses made me feel disrespected and I feel they bulldozed and took all the joy out of my project. read more

We recently moved back to Austin. Our home needed painting in several areas. We contacted Barton Springs Painting for a quote. They came on time, provided a good estimate and waited for our decision. After the estimate we decided to make a few changes and they were equally responsive, helpful and reasonable with their quote and time. The actual painting was better than we expected in fact we added to the job about 3/4 of the way through. The team painters were on time, courteous and extremely helpful with our busy schedule and changes. Upon completion we notice one area that was missed and BSP responded quickly to make it right. Impressive, polite and a professional business in many ways. Thank you, I highly recommend this local company. read more

Jeff and Andy of Barton Springs Painting are fantastic -- both at their craft and as human beings. When I originally bought my home several years ago, Jeff provided some fantastic consultations for me on how I could handle painting over existing wallpaper that would have been hellish to remove because of its age. Years later, those recommendations (which he provided for free and that I handled as DIY because of a rush necessity) are still holding up. As a result of that initial fantastic experience, I recently had Jeff and Andy paint the exterior of my home. And like my first encounter, the outcome was excellent -- and even better this time because they did all the work! In short, you'll find their skills are stellar, their prices reasonable, and their personalities a complete delight. I'll be having them back soon to handle interior bedroom painting given that my two young daughters somehow seem to have defied gravity to walk on the walls and ceilings. (How do they manage?) Thanks Jeff and Andy! read more

Jeff and his team are amazing! They were super responsive and they did an amazing job painting our built-in book shelves and cabinets. The people who installed the cabinets came back after Jeff painted to do some adjustments and he asked me who did the painting b/c they said that it was the BEST paint job they had ever seen (and they've been installing cabinets for years and years). They said they'd never seen this quality of work (no drips, even spray, etc). So I am soooo pleased that we went with Barton Springs Painting! We couldn't be happier. I've already recommended them to family and friends. I will definitely be using them again for any future projects! read more

AMAZING! They turned my ugly kitchen cabinets to beautiful kitchen cabinets. Jeff's team members are very professional, polite and very detailed oriented. I did not have to clean up after them. Jeff and his team were amazing from start to finish. They were very fairly priced but what I appreciated most was their attention to detail. We walked through the house in the beginning and Jeff pointed out and asked about stuff that I hadn't even thought about. The team at BSP is AWESOME. I was happy with every step of the process! QUOTE: Jeff came out to look at our home and give us a quote as soon as I reached out to him. He was patient with me as I told him what I had envisioned for this project (living room and staircase), and even for future projects (kitchen cabinets), and he walked us through every step of the process so we knew exactly what to expect. SCHEDULE: Jeff was able to schedule us almost right away! Our paint job was started and completed 1 week after I had met with him for a quote. WORK QUALITY: Unfortunately, Jeff was ill at the time of our scheduled paint job, but he sent over Nancy, Andy, and several other team members to complete the job, and we were thoroughly impressed with all of them! They were all kind, hard-working, diligent, and lovely to chat with all day! The paint job is FANTASTIC. I have 20 foot ceilings and a crazy-angled staircase, and they somehow made it all look flawless. I can't stop looking at my walls and how perfect they look. ALSO, I was completing a paint job of my own while they were here, and they even lent me some of their tools and offered suggestions for me. That is top-notch customer service. COST: I have never ever hired painters to paint before, as I love to paint myself. I wasn't completely sure what to expect on the cost, so of course, I was a little surprised at the amount it was at first. BUT, after seeing their work and talking with some other folks who have had their homes painted, I realized the price point was pretty fair and WELL WORTH IT. I would HIGHLY recommend BSP. We are looking forward to using them in the future for when we finally tackle our cabinets. Thanks BSP! read more

He walked us through the plan for our house from start to finish and gave us an update each day about what was done and what we could expect the next day. The painting looks amazing.
