Food was pretty good. WAY WAY WAY overpriced. Very small tacos and very expensive. I think if the price matched the portions it would be much better. They are always trying to cheap around things one way or another. For example.. Take out host issued my change for my bill and said they didn't have any change so she gave me a dollar less then what I should have gotten. Instead the restaurant should have taken the fall and not the costumer for the lack of preparedness. I don't care about a dollar..its the principle of the matter. I went again to try it out for a second time.... Had the fried oyster tacos (same as last time...) They gave me one less oyster in each taco.. I'm in love with bartaco! The atmosphere is beautiful and every time I go there I have a great time. All of the original art and fresh, delicious food keeps me coming back again and again. Emma, Jamison, Parker, Bekim, and newcomer Justin always make me feel welcomed and I know that my time spent there is going to be fun. I love their positive attitudes and they know how to make a great, craft cocktail! The food is so light and full of flavor, I'm really glad that I now have a non-greasy, laid back Mexican food option in Reston Town Center. I also want to mention that there are no TVs in the whole restaurant which allows for great conversation! I continually tell all my friends to visit this gem in RTC. Just a few of my favorite things: The pork belly, cauliflower, and Portobello mushroom tacos, the black bean salad, and the rotisserie chicken is delicious. Came here with a friend for lunch and wow was I impressed. The food was absolutely delicious. My friend ordered a two baja fish tacos with a spicy chorizo taco while I had (and personally recommend) the curry shrimp and pork belly tacos. Servers answered questions in detail and are very enjoyable to converse with. The manager, Emma, was very kind and made us feel very welcome and comfortable by checking up on us quite often. I've taken various other friends and relatives here and all seem to agree that this is the place to be. I look forward to trying their other dishes and sides in my next visits. read more

I have dined here a few times but it was my mother's first and Nicole provided excellent service and made great recommendations. It was super crowded; our reservation got screwed up and we had to wait a ridiculously long time for tables; and the way our groups had to order and pay was really dumb. The food was decent and the variety was interesting, but it still felt kind of limited despite that. Honestly, I'd just take some Chipotle home and crack open a bottle with friends if that's really what you want. read more

Great place for a quick lunch. I'm a big fan of the pork belly and the portobello tacos. Both are so flavorful. The salsa and guac is also delicious. The servers are attentive and I appreciate how the orders are taken. Just mark your order on the card, put it in the holder and it's scooped up in seconds. Love Bartaco! The food is great especially the fried oyster. Great location and has a very nice outdoor seating. What makes this place awesome is the customer service. The staff is super nice but the drinks are really over priced especially for their size not to mention they are very weak.

We have been to Bar Taco's twice and the food is good, but the portions are small. For example, a small bowl of guacamole is $6. It is tasty, but that it expensive. The one margarita I had was mediocre and pricey. The tacos are really good and are only $2.50 each. The falafel taco is my favorite. I also really like the grilled corn side dish. What I want to highlight is that the service is great! Each time we had a fantastic waiter/waitress who went out of their way to serve us. read more

Tacos are hit or miss, as is the service. Love the concept and the drinks are great. The fish tacos are delicious and the pork belly is also really good. Falafel was incredibly dry, though, as was the wild boar. The duck and prime rib taco are worth the trip on its own. It is an asian fusion taco restaurant, but I liked the food better than Taco Bamba, which is the best authentic Mexican taco restaurant in the area. BEST margaritas hands down. I have never enjoyed a margarita besides making one at home fresh, but Bar Taco is bar none;-) From their margaritas to their tacos and guac, only the freshest ingredients are used...being a dietitian I really appreciate this! Only downside is that it can get extremely noisy, so if you are with anyone who is even slightly hard of hearing, it can make for a frustrating dinner conversation. Overall it's a fun atmosphere and great for outdoor get together a with friends on a nice summer night. read more
