Wow wow wow, I have 192628 pics on my phone of the food here from how many times we come. I LOVE their margaritas. They are SOO fresh and amazing! (So much I googled the recipe to try at home!) There is a variety of tacos but the pork belly is the best one! Guac always fresh and corn is soooo yummy!!!! I always sit at the bar and the service is great, they move fast. The restaurant is super cute and Tulum vibes . Again don't skip on their margaritas!!!! read more

7-15-23 6:30pm So a little back story I was introduced to this place by Yelp Miami during lockdown of Covid. We were told what to buy to make Margaritas and Guacamole virtually. Truly an exceptional event and the best guacamole I ever made at home. Fast forward present day and I still had this place bookmarked. So hubby my shut in husband also known as recuperating from surgery wanted take out Mexican I went to my bookmarks for this place. Truly in a secluded area of town just 4 miles from my home located in the Waterways but before the waterway. I get to the restaurant and it is $10. to valet so I park in the garage which is no cost with validation from the restaurant. When I go to the restaurant the welcoming to me was crazy nice. Wow you know how to make a stranger feel welcomed. So I head over to the take out area and order hubby and I food to take home to him. We started with a large guacamole which comes with these large tortillas you break apart. It was killer! Next hubby has sesame ribeye, chorizo and pork belly tacos. My selection is duck, mushroom and fish. Hands down duck was amazing! Hubby loved his ribeye and pork belly. Definitely look forward to coming here to eat once he recuperates in the meantime I will be back soon for take out for us both. PSS while waiting I had a quick Bartaco Margarita at the bar. It was great. Service, ambiance and food are all a 5. Thank you again Yelp Miami for this introduction as I would have never found this place otherwise. read more

Last night, I found myself at bartaco it was my third time. I usually sit at the bar, but for change, we sat at a table. Due to the inclement weather, we found ourselves with our dog and we were accommodated with no problem. The host was thoughtful in seating, and Felipe was there to grab a round of drinks and explain the concept. I was pleased to learn about the qr code ordering as I had always used menu cards provided. I tried the Paloma Fresca and the Smoke on the Water. Both handcrafted and refreshing. If you like wateemelon and mezcal, try smoke on the water. As usual, the food was yummy. I really enjoyed the duck birra tacos. They have the right amount of crisp for the sauce. The pork belly tacos were a stand-out as well. read more

Not my thing! The guacamole was good but it was sparse. The tacos were Oreo size and way too spicy. Service was good app ordering was confusing. read more

Listen, before I get roasted for these terrible photos, just know the margs were FLOWING! I'm a huge fan of Bar Taco and was super stoked to see there was one across the street from me. First, when you go, ask for the secret menu. Could get some thing super cool and exotic! I ordered a marg, tacos and street corn, followed up my the tres leches Marg: Yum. Basic, but good Street Corn: Enough for two people. Not the BEST I've had but still VERY good. Tacos: I'm super basic. I went with fish, which was my favorite. Fresh, yet still tickles that fried food itch. The shrimp; super spicy. If you like spice, this is the one! Last, the chorizo, it was honestly a throw in since I needed more than two to fill me up. It's very good actually. I like the falafel too! Tres Leches: DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I didnt love the coconut on top, that's only because don't love coconut I'm such a big fan of Bartaco. If you've never been, Google the closest one or add it to your vacay itinerary if it's close to your destination. read more

I had a great time at Bartaco. I went with my cast of at least 25 people for a musical that I am rehearsing for here in Miami. Our server, Hector, did a great job! I know how difficult having a large party size can be for a server. He was very attentive. The food was delicious. I had the duck Birria quesadillas, pork belly tacos, and duck tacos as well as the house margarita. I would highly recommend stopping by. read more

I ordered this to go but I don't think I will come back, I was super excited to try this quesadilla since I've never had duck birria and it was extremely disappointing. It was so dry and burnt I was questioning why they would even serve this to me, I wouldn't serve that to my customers. The elote cup had a good taste! but I don't know why the corn was so stringy it was just all in all super unappetizing and I was super excited to try this places because of the price but I guess you get what you pay for, I don't see myself coming back to bartaco in the future. read more

THE BEST and most consistent Bartaco location in Florida; they should be the prototype for all other locations. George & Gideon provide excellent leadership and communication that is implemented by the rest of the staff including the chefs. One time an order didn't come out good and the chef came to my table to personally ask how it could be better; he remade the order to perfection the second time around! The food is great especially the cucumber salad and the guacamole. I wish they made burritos but I guess the ambiance of the place makes up for typical items left off the menu. The churros with ice cream are an excellent available choice as well. Thank you to senior management and the entire Bartaco Aventura team for your continued professionalism, hospitality, and kindness every time I've visited; if I could give 10 stars I would without a doubt! Keep up the great work! read more

Came here for Father's Day Sat lunch. We chose it because of the reviews and it did not disappoint. As you can see from our already eaten food pics, we had several selections from recommendations by Jullian. He provided great ordering and food guide for us first timers. Favorites were the pork belly tacos, tuna (minus the lettuce), guac, green chicken bowl, Mexican corn, chorizo tacos, churros, coconut sherbet, . Ok....nevermind...we enjoyed all of it. The food and the experience. We will be back. Val and the others who stopped by our table were also a pleasure! read more

Amazingly delicious tacos! You must try the pork belly and finish with the tres léché desert. My husband and I had dinner here last night and came back for lunch today. read more

I ordered dinner to go from this place cause I remember it was good last time I ate there, I arrived there and I had to wait an extra 15 minutes to get my order, and the worst was that I arrived at home and the meals they were super tiny and not worth at all the price, plus they messed up my order putting salad instead of tacos in my tacos packs, which I didn't order. It was a complete disaster and I spent good money for a bad meal for me and my family which we planned to eat Mexican, we were not happy at all obviously. read more

Environment: unique, all orders are done through your phone at the table Food: red sauce and Green sauce are more saucey rather than a thicker salsa Tortilla chips are actually pieces of tortilla not an actual chips All tacos are pretty good, my favorite are the pork belly. If you like pork belly it's a must try! For the dessert, the churros are the best. What really makes is the chocolate sauce, so tasty!! read more

Perfect little taco find! All items were freshly made to order and everything was so flavorful and delicious. The tacos are delicious, the ordering system is easy, the servers are friendly and warm (while maintaining professionalism) The Experience: What can I say: it is pretty informal : you get in, you sit, you point your cellphone to the table, order, and pay through the app, the server comes with your order and water (or the drinks). The tacos, without exception, are delicious. I would say it's the second-best place for tacos in Miami (to my taste, at least, some may say is the best, some may say is only a top-5, but for me, almost at the top). So far, Ive done the baja fish, the roasted duck, the pork belly, the ribeye... and the tuna with no taco shell but lettuce. I couldn't really choose a favorite between the pork belly and the ribeye, and the roasted duck isn't far behind either, they are just tasty and different from what you get anywhere else. I also have a soft spot for the baja fish here, not because it is my favorite or anything like that, but because it's one of the very few places where the fish is perfectly cooked, in the right spot between the crispy outside and the juicy insides. The servers are always available and friendly, which is something you don't find often in places where you don't need them to order, but be it to ask for a napkin or the red hot sauce or just a tad more water, they are there for you. As for the hot sauces, there are three. Contrary to what I expected, the hottest one is the habanero sauce, followed by the red (which isn't on the table regularly, one server explained, because it spoils if left outside, but the will bring it to you on request), and the jalapeño one is almost (almost) mild. In truth, none of the three is really really burning-hot, but all of them carry something. In flavor, I lean towards the red one, but that's a subjective matter (of taste), so try them all and decide for yourself because all three are good in their own flavor). I forget what the dessert I had was at this moment, but I remember enjoying it a whole lot, too. read more

Review from a non local! One of a kind and absolutely delicious. Esthetically beautiful restaurant setting with attractive outdoor dining. Visited TWICE in a week because it was that good. First visit was during lunch and second one was a dinner outing with friends. Very unique ordering style using mobile phone ordering. (credit/debit only!) Food is made to order. Quick and easy. Mobile ordering platform was easy to use. Ordered the infamous crispy avocado tacos, cauliflower tacos, Baja fish, pork belly, sesame ribeye. Kids had their own tacos and corn on the cob. Everything was amazing. Unique flavors. Totals were $39.xx for lunch and $79.xx for dinner after gratuity. Kids ate with us for dinner. Reasonable prices and we ate to our hearts' content. Family friendly restaurant and with kids menus. Service was satisfactory. Very minimal interaction since it was a mobile order system. Only time we interacted with a server was to ask one question and when they dropped off food trays. Outdoor seating makes for a beautiful dinner date or group gathering. Indoor seating is also beautiful and romantic. Overall I would highly recommend. Excellent group outing to grab drinks and tacos. read more

Stunning, modern with a rustic feel. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very ample ambiance yet with lights inside that resemble wooden laundry hampers. At least that's what initially caught my eye when dining in. Parking is everywhere and they validate. Doesn't matter if it's in the parking garage or straight across from them. Staff is generally pleasant and present despite the fact that in order to actually order, well, you better have a smartphone. Everything is via QR code. When scanning the QR code, you have the option to split the check with friends, so no more fighting about who pays for what and how much. Not that it mattered on this occasion. I wanted to treat my friend, Sean M., who I've driven crazy (and probably will continue to drive crazy) now that I've begun anew and moved. To celebrate my new home purchase, we started with drinks: a Modelo beer for me that came with a cute cozy that I got to keep and some cocktail with pineapple for him that the name escapes me. As far as the nom noms go, the restaurant is called Bartaco, so when at a taco place, especially with taco in its name, we got tacos. Well, and two sides of yummy street corn, but let's talk about the tacos. We each got three tacos and don't let the size deceive you. They're pretty filling. We had two orders of the chile-lime shrimp tacos, as well as spiced chicken verde tacos. Where we differed was the third taco: I opted for a glazed pork belly one, he had a baja fish one. I can't comment on the baja fish taco, but the glazed pork belly one was crunchy and I heavily put jalapeño sauce on it. I mean, it was plain and they had at least three sauces on the table, so why not? The other two tacos though were pure perfection and needed no accompaniments. Same with the aforementioned street corn. I think my only regret with this restaurant is that the day we went they were out of the roasted duck tacos, and well, I really wanted the quack quack! More reason to return I suppose. I think Sean and I may have found one of our hang-out spots. read more

Cool little place in Aventura with an interesting concept. You order through an app which is the only way to order. You put in your order and food runners bring it out to you. The prices are decent and the food was very good. The standup was the guacamole, they have a nice array of different type of tacos and they are 2 to 3 dollars each which is reasonable for this area. The service was surprisingly good even though you had to order through an app. It takes a bit to set up the app and load in your credit card and set up a profile for the first time but once you're done it's easy peasy. I enjoyed my time here and I will be coming back. read more

We went for lunch last week and the food was good but kind of on the smaller size. It was hot inside and uncomfortable because they have tables outside and the servers have to keep going in and out. The server was very sweet and told us about different things on the menu. Not sure we would return because there are too many great restaurants in the area. Bartaco was good but not great. read more

Ducked in with Dr. P. and Sweet Malizee to try the fare and it was a hit, here's why: * Never been to this close spot, so that rocked. * Tasty tacos! I tried 4 of them, listed below. * Excellent tortilla soup! * Clean, new, airy. * Excellent service. * Small, tasty tacos, fairly priced. So I tried these tacos, in order from my fave to my least fave: * Sesame Ribeye-sweet sesame-soy glaze marinade w/ spicy kimchi * Baja Fish--spicy tempura-battered cod w/ chipotle slaw * Seared Chorizo-Argentinian-style spiced ground pork w/ sweet onion + cilantro + smoky red chimichurri sauce (tasty but the texture was a tad off-putting) * Glazed pork belly with spicy arbol chili sauce Good stuff, also Gluten-free options. I wish they were closer to me in downtown Hollywood so I could add them to my food tour. Good stuff, see you there!! Parking garage is next door. $3 bucks roughly. Cabeza OUT! read more

Bartaco Aventura is such an underrated spot The Robert Palmer carafe = instant weekend vibes , and the taco lineup never disappoints (so many good choices it's hard to pick just a few). Oh MY Stars!!! You have never had a pork taco like this!! Every bite screams "wow!" again and again! You've gotta experience this for yourself.... I started with the duck Birria, guac and chips and street corn in a cup. The duck was impeccable, guac was authentic and super fresh and the elote was everything I needed on the side. Finally the tacos: fish (perfect), chicken (smoked chicken goodness), Brussel sprout (on the spicy side but the roasted pepitas help tame the heat) and of course the pork belly taco (speechless). The manager Gideon and host Julien LOVE first timer and you can tell- they stand behind everything that is served to their guests. I'll definitely be back SOON. Don't forget.... Saturday night dinner with friends. You can't make a reservation. You just have to get yourself on the waitlist 30 minutes before your dining time. Worked out well for us since we got a table right away. We sat on the patio, the music indoors was a tad loud and the weather outside was gorgeous. Firstly, the ordering experience is very clunky. You have to order through their website/app. This does not allow for any customization. If you need specific customization, you have to flag down a server. I ordered the spicy margarita which was very nice. Baja fish taco - 4/5 Chili lime shrimp taco - 4/5 Ahi tuna taco served in lettuce leaves instead of tortilla - 5:5 I like the overall ambience and the food. Nice spot with some unique Asian Mexican inspired dishes. Bartaco Aventura has a lovely contemporary decor with indoor and (uncovered) outdoor seating. It's bright & clean. Service is polite and helpful. Street meter or garage parking available. It was a nice day so I decided to sit outside in their patio garden. After reviewing the menu and getting some feedback from the server, I ordered a sweet tea carafe, street corn fritters and the duck quesadilla. I enjoyed it all. The sweet tea was perfectly delicious & refreshing. Really liked that I had my own carafe at the table instead of waiting for the server refills. The corn fritters were crispy and filled with bursting corn nibblets. My favorite was the duck quesadilla. So unique and delicious. Love blue corn tortillas and this one had a yummy blue corn flavor. It also held up well to the hearty filling. The combination of flavorful shredded duck, gooey cheese and blue corn tortilla was marvelous. Nice ambiance & tasty bites at Bartaco. read more
