Had to wave our server down for a glass of water. The food was not appealing on the menu nor in person. The only slightly good items are the sides which are overpriced anyway. I would not recommend coming here. read more

This place is a hard no. They don't even have queso dip (wtf?) and they are just lazy. Half the point of going out to dinner is being waited on, you're paying for a good meal AND the dining experience. And they want you to do everything yourself. They just wanna get tipped and have you do everything yourself online. THIS PLACE is what's wrong with the service industry and why it's going so downhill. read more

I LOVE Bartaco and this location doesn't disappoint! I really like their ordering system: They give you a pre-filled paper with the menu items and you simply check off what you want. You can also write in any food allergies or dietary restrictions to ensure the chef is aware (there's a lot of gluten free, dairy free, and vegan options and they're clearly labeled on the menu). The lunch special was great! 3 tacos and a side/appetizer for $11. Get the cauliflower and falafel tacos, they're so unique and delicious. The chicken soup was great on a cold day, but be warned: all of the chicken and vegetables are in GIANT chunk-form! They also have a great drink menu. The staff was so nice and helpful throughout my lunch experience, and I loved that my waitress explained the three different hot sauces to me (the habanero was my favorite because it's both sweet and spicy). Bartaco is in a super cute location of town, and the interior reminds me of a relaxing beachside town. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and there's a big fireplace outside! You can attempt to find street parking, but I parked in the garage around the corner and Bartaco validated my parking! read more

First of all, the food was absolutely amazing! We had the Baja Fish Tacos, oyster, pork belly, chicken and steak and every single one was so good! The service was exceptionally good. Thomas came over to greet us and checked up on us multiple times and gave us some really great recommendations. It's been so hard to find good customer service these days and Thomas really went above and beyond. We will definitely be sure to come and visit again! read more

I really enjoyed my time here! Although I drove around aimlessly looking for street parking ( I refuse to pay for parking on a Tuesday night). I eventually wandered in and my friends I were seated promptly. I love the boat house style decor of this place. They have lots of board games up front when you walk in. I didn't see anyone playing with them so they might just be for decoration. I ordered the Bartaco Margarita, pretty solid choice. It was strong and wasn't drowned in syrupy margarita mix. We also had plantains and guacamole for appetizers. The plantains were delicious!! I'm not sure what type of sauce it was that they came with but I loved it. I ordered 2 crispy fish tacos and 1 chicken taco. I also had the street corn off the cob as a side item. The tacos were pretty good! They were about 2-3 bites each but I was plenty full afterwards. The corn was to die for. I have to have next time I come here! They are a card only restaurant, no cash. Also, if you fill out the survey on the table and turn it in to the hostess, you get a token for a free taco upon your next visit. I'll be back here! read more

food, service and atmosphere were all phenomenal! I got the lunch tray special that lets you choose either 3 tacos or a rice bowl with one protein and then a side. I chose the Baja fish (with a lettuce wrap), chicken chorizo and falafel tacos, with the chopped salad on the side. All were very unique in flavor and packed a punch with every bite! Highly suggest this place for a refreshing and modern take on street tacos. The only very minor gripe I had was at how small the tacos were. I ended up ordering the chicken pastor taco after finishing the lunch tray because I wasn't full yet. That's definitely not enough for me to take a star off my review, but definitely keep that in mind when ordering! Love love love this place read more

I had lunch here for the first time on Sunday and it was amazing! We were sat immediately and our server greeted us and explained how to order. You order through the QR codes at the tables. I had 2 mushroom tacos, 1 falafel taco, and 1 cauliflower taco. As an appetizer my friend and I split the esquites and salsa and guac. For drinks I had the Paloma. Overall my experience was great! The food was delicious and I can't wait to go back. I thought the Paloma was priced reasonably and it tasted good and refreshing. One thing I did note was my food took such a long time to come out even though my friend and I placed ours at the exact same time. I had to ask our server because it took such a long time. Shortly after it came out and he was nice and apologetic about it. I would absolutely love to go again. I loved the atmosphere outside and they have so many options! Highly recommend it for vegetarians as well!! read more

I love bartaco I have always been a fan and loved the food. since Covid, the structure of the restaurant has driven me away. ordering off the QR code is terrible and I made a yelp account specifically to express my dislike for the system. the fact that I have to complete a captcha and select the boxes with bicycles before I can order my food? absolutely ridiculous. when the food arrives there's confusion because everything comes out partially. we asked for physical menus and was turned back to the QR code. This structure ruins the experience and makes me not want to come here. please fix this please. again I enjoy the restaurant the service the people are all great but the system for ordering is atrocious... read more

Great spot to go for lunch. I like that they offer different tacos beyond the typical beef, pork or chicken. They are only offering picnic style dining due to COVID-19. So, it's ideal to visit when the weather is nice to enjoy outside dining. The first step is to step to the window and place your order which we did with Andrew who had a great personality. You circle the items you want. Next step is to select your outside seating. There are not too many seats, but we visited for lunch on a Wednesday and not many people were there. Once your order is ready you pick it up at the table on a tray. They have adjusted well to assure the safety of their guests. I enjoyed the duck quesadilla with a side of black beans. The duck quesadilla had a nice taste. The black beans were basic. I noticed the tacos are very small. There's free parking on both sides the street. You can also get your parking validated if you choose to park in the garage. I would visit again because I like this neighborhood for dining. read more

This quarantine is no joke but atleast we can still order our fave tacos and bowls from Bartaco! My husband and I would normally go out to eat on the weekends pre-covid so this past weekend was no exception and we did Bartaco Take Out! Our experience was phenomenal: - Ordered over the phone and the girl on the other end was so kind and friendly. It feels nice to hear another person's voice now a days, amiright? - Food was ready when we arrived with a little smiley face drawn next to our name. How sweet! - Margaritas to-go? Heck yea! Bartaco is doing "Margarita Kits" that come with their freshly squeezed Margarita mix of limes and oranges, salt for the rim, and limes for garnish. All you need at home is tequila and you're set to have a good time. The kit makes 4 margaritas for $8. - The flavors of everything was just as we remember it to be. With so any aspects of our lives changing it's comforting to taste something that reminds us of what Normal is. Thanks Bartaco for being open during these times. I'm sure you need us now more than ever and I hope this review will encourage folks to order takeout! read more

First Of all, I had no intentions of coming here however the service was bad at another restaurant and we needed to find something to eat. I was pleasantly surprised when we found this restaurant. The outside is inviting from the street trimmed in white and some patrons have their dogs outside and I must say they were well behaved. We asked to be seated outside and were seated immediately! The seating was on the front patio with a view of the street and side view of the outdoor fireplace. Our server was really nice and made us aware of tapas which we love. What was extremely convenient but savvy was the digital menu ordering app. Pretty easy to add to your tab too. We ordered a pineapple margaritas, fish tacos, duck, shrimp bowl with street corn. All very delicious at an affordable price. This one is definitely on my list of Atl foodie finds. read more

Confession: because this was a chain, I totally underestimated this place! I was invited to a bday dinner & boy was I delightfully surprised. Everything was great from the 2 tacos to the street corn to the sweet plantains. I ordered a margarita that was tasty but can't remember the name. The ambiance was perfect for summer time dining. We were inside but it felt like outside due to the entire left side being open so we were exposed to the outdoor seating area as well. The ordering process was unique in that it's all on your phone. Scan the QR code, place your order online then pay with your card. It allows you to add things to your order without doing a brand new transaction if you do so within a certain time frame. They do bring things out at random so for example you may get your side of corn beside your tacos or luck you & have them at the same time, it just depends. I think that's the style of the place tho. Definitely a chic, community vibe though so no one in our party was pressed to get anything in any particular order. I enjoyed! read more

Giving Taqueria Del Sol a run for it's money!! If you love scrumptious (and cheap) a la carte tacos, you probably settle for your nearest mexican restaurant right?? WRONG! Choose Bartaco and keep choosing it no matter what part of town you're in since there is one in Inman Park, Westside, and Chastain! I've been to all 3, but I must say the outdoor seating area complete with an outdoor fireplace awards Inman Park Bartaco the first place award. The menu has a wide selection of tacos to choose from, and I'd recommend choosing about 3 or 4 for a meal for one person. My favorite is the cauliflower taco. I've never seen this offered before, but I'm always excited to try vegetarian friendly options because I believe vegetarian meals should be as delicious as any other meal, without being an after-thought. Let me just say, the cauliflower taco had me ordering seconds... and thirds. If you love tea too, you'll love that they give you an entire caraffe to refill your glass from. So for $4 (the price of tea) you actually get quite a few glasses which I thought was a great deal. The mint tea is my favorite and always keeps me refilling my glass. The atmosphere at each location is light and airy, and not chock full of the cliche/sterotypical mexican restaurant decor (can I get an Amen?!) Chips and guac (or queso yum) for the table set the experience off on the right foot, and then the tacos and sides like spicy cucumber salad take it to the next level. You'll be pleasently surprised with the variety of tacos and how healthy they taste (none of the meat is greasy or drenched in sauce). The food is light and airy as is the restaurant. Love bringing my parents here because they love the concept and having several different tacos for dinner or lunch! read more

Loved dining here with my girlfriends on a Friday night. We sat outside near the heaters. The staff turned on the fireplace and there are warm (clean) soft blankets for your lap. There is plenty of space outside - but the vibe is quaint and relaxed The Staff is A+ ... Very attentive and friendly, it's a relaxed and causal atmosphere, good place for friends and dates alike. Our server was Kyle, and he made an extra effort to make our small group settle into our Friday night dinner- and we appreciated that Parking is validated - but ... We still ended up paying $2 ... Parking was in the deck behind the building, look for the sandwich board sign The food was great. Lots of non-meat option. I had the falafel, the baja, and the mushroom taco. All were tasty, but the falafel was the most original and the most authentic taco Guac - just a tip, get the bigger size - it's good and the small won't last long! No draft! Had Pacifico in a glass, perfect pairing! read more

Their service is great and the bartenders were very accommodating to my date and me. We enjoyed their chicken and rice bowl, mushroom tacos, chips and guacamole, and vanilla ice cream. Everything was a small portion but it was inexpensive for the dishes. The mushroom tacos are a great job option for vegetarians and their sauces are delicious with a kick of spice. Overall the best part was the service because the bartender was super generous and she made sure we were taken care of. read more

Such a satisfying Saturday afternoon! This place's easy ordering (write choices on an order card), Uber affordable prices, and ambiance is the perfect combo. They have a variety of appetizers, bowls and tacos to choose from. I had the spicy rock shrimp tacos, chicken taco and cauliflower tacos. Note: the tacos are tapas size so you'll get about three bites out of them. You can substitute the tortilla for a lettuce wrap option. Also try the GUAC and chips! They were super fresh; the chips alone were to die for. We didn't want our meals to end lol. If you're planning to have wine, all of their choices are lovely & it's worth purchasing bottle. I will be coming back. read more

This is my favorite Bartaco in Atlanta! I've probably gone for 4 to 5 times and I've never had a bad experience. Even with Covid the service is really great. I love the drinks, be sure to try the white sangria. This place is great to go with friends, tons of options to share or get your own bite. I love the area. However if you're looking for a place with easy parking for this bartaco location probably isn't the best one for you. There is a paid deck and minimal street parking. However this is the best Bartaco location if you're trying to restaurant hop or bar hop during your time out (which you should do if you're in this part of town) read more

We were able to get seats at the bar which is open seating on a busy Friday night. Baja Fish tacos were phenomenal. I really enjoyed them. Baja fish tacos are my favorite to get at taco spots so I'm kinda hard to please when it comes to them, but this hit the spot. The cauliflower wasn't for me at all. I didn't like any part of them. They were a bit soft & felt over cooked. The wait was so long for dine in that we decided to just get takeout which was pretty quick. Price is amazing too! I suggest downloading the app so you can avoid the line. I've been craving them all week, so I'll definitely be back soon. read more

We just walked out of this place. 30 minute wait so we put our names on the waitlist. No problem, right, we'll just get a drink at the bar. Sat at the bar for 20 minutes and neither bar tender recognized our existence. Completely ignored us like we were invisible. Was busy but not that bad. Spoke to manager and he was surly. Said wanted to fix it but offered no apology or explanation. Too cool for school. Walked out and will never return. If you want any hospitality, don't go here. read more

The mushroom taco was so flavorful and delicious! I like the service here also! The employees were very incoming and very nice.

Great drinks, excellent tacos! I really like the ordering pic through your phone. Super easy.

This place is so good. It was my first time here with friends and I loved it. They definitely are practicing social distancing and all of the staff had on masks. That made me super happy and feel safe. I love the indoor outdoor concept of the restaurant and how it leads out into the patio. The decor is also super pretty. The food was amazing and it came out super fast. We went there on a Tuesday afternoon so maybe that's why. I didn't have any problems with the online ordering and scanning on my phone. Definitely safer than touching menus. The tacos are super tiny and I am a little disappointed that they decreased their menu due to Covid, but I understand. Overall, the food was amazing. I've attached a photo of all the food me and my friends had. It was all delicious and I definitely will be returning. read more

I love the tacos here. Went after walking 5 miles on the beltline. Had lunch with a friend on the patio only two patrons there. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Not really pressed to return anytime soon. read more

Gentrification of tacos. There are much better places to get tacos even different and "fancy" ones. Salsas have way too much vinegar. Taco flavors are missing the mark. Cute and trendy but not a place if you're looking for authentic. read more

Where do I begin! First let me say love how they are operating with COVID and their social distance system they in place. The food was so good! We ended up ordering more tacos we had the sesame ribeye taco, Baja fish tacos which were our favorite, a pork taco forgot the correct name, street corn which were also really good! Key lime pie (not pictured) and churros (which i would've preferred a different dipping sauce since I'm not a big chocolate person but that's just my personal preference) The waiter we had was so cool and down to earth he just added to the vibe of the restaurant wish we could've remembered his name but I'll never forget his face so when we go back I'd be sure to look for him! Was our first time but definitely not the last! read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience here! I've been lamenting a lack of a good taco spot that offers vegetarian options, but this might be my new go-to. The mushroom tacos here are SO good, definitely get them if you're a mushroom lover. The cauliflower taco was okay, it could've used more of the sauce--but the sauce was also just spicy, it didn't have much flavor to it besides that. Note the tacos are small and bite-sized, so if you normally eat two you might end up getting four here. Get the reviver if you like a refreshing drink, it was excellent, one of the best I've had. The chips are interesting because they come as whole crispy tortillas that you break off yourself. The guac and the esquites (off the cob corn) were solid as well. I really loved their contactless ordering & payment system, I think more restaurants should adopt that. We ended with the churros and they were also some of the best churros I've ever had--they were warm and surprisingly authentic, and served with a little side of chocolate sauce that wasn't too sweet. The one thing that kind of bothered me was that the service slowed down considerably near the end of our visit--which is ironic because we showed up during the dinner rush, and service was very quick then, but near 9pm we struggled to get a hold of any servers and had to wait much longer to get our second round of tacos and had to call the manager (Ashley) over to check on the churros for us. She was truly wonderful though! read more

Really good spot to get a variety of tacos for cheap. Nice atmosphere and large space. The menu is pretty easy to navigate. They have a small card that you check and number how many of an item you'd want. If there is a large number of tacos they'll all come out on a huge platter. Options range from meaty to vegetarian friendly. Tons of delicious side options and even rice bowls. This place has a bit of a fusion-y aspect to it, and I couldn't say you'd be getting some sort of authentic experience. However, if you like beach vibe, drinks, and cheap but fancy looking tacos. Look no further. Parking: Street or parking deck parking. Area is filled with lots of other restaurants and small shops. Mostly restaurants though. There's also a nice coffee shop across the street. read more
