Plain and simple if you are looking for a good pizza and want to stay local, Barro's Pizza is the best you are going to get. I always appreciate privately owned establishments and Barro's does a good job with the taste and quality of their pizza. Crust makes a pizza not toppings cheese or sauce and I find the crust to be amazing. Once you have Barro's, every other pizza place will just seem underwhelming. Barro's has ruined my tolerance for any other pizza place out there, in the best way possible. I've been going to Barro's since I was little and I have always appreciated the friendly environment. The people that work here are extremely nice and welcoming. The quality of their pizza has always been amazing. Their dough is always the right amount of thickness and they don't hold off on their cheese. Their toppings are awesome and everything always tastes fresh. AND they give you free ranch for your pizza if you ask for it! YUM!! Every time I have been here the pizza has been fresh and really tasty! The antipasta salad is huge! and you could totally shore with 2 or 3 people as an appetizer. Their boneless buffalo chicken is really yummy as well! A must try. read more

Best pizza in the area. Not my favorite style of pizza but I really appreciate the use of toppings and the way its cooked. Definitely tastes better when its piping hot and not left to eat after its cooled off. Something with the cheese they used makes it very weird. I can't believe the owner of this place. I have been coming here for at least 20 years. They send a coupon in a mailing and that's part of the reason I would go here. They always accepted the coupon, even if expired. They even would sometimes give the coupon back for use later. Good customer service with that policy. All of the sudden, the owner decides if the coupon is expired, you can't use it. What is up with that? BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! The worker even showed displeasure over the newly enacted policy. Hmmmm I'm a little torn on this one... While I love the texture of the crust and the discreet use of tomato/marinara sauce on the pizzas, it lacks that explosive pizza flavor. But perhaps it may be the fact that it seems to use a healthier cooking approach and higher quality ingredients because you don't taste that layer of grease like other pizzas. Good pizza! The cheese is so good the vegetables are fresh. They put toppings galore. To some it could be pricey but its worth it.. Mojos are great. We are here on a Friday for dinner we came at 6 before a crowd of ppl started coming. If you come late you might not get a table. Tv's are great for watching sports. The pizza was absolutely delicious. The crust was the best. I haven't eaten pizza crust since Pizza Hut went wrong with there original deep dish crust. Mediocre...the pepperoni wasn't crispy at all, cheese could have used a little more time, vegetables are all thrown in the middle of the pizza, and the crust is too doughy for us. It is a ok I suppose but for the price...eh I doubt we will be back. It would have been nice to not have to get on a freeway to get a decent pizza (takeout style...not counting places like pieology which is good)...but I guess we will have to given that this was the highest rated place in the area. I ordered these to go and took them home to eat and it was pretty good. They were pretty meaty and it had a nice little kick. GOOD: The amount of toppings I had on the Barro's Special, Chicken BBQ were quite surprisingly alot. The crust slightly crunchy, which I like. Their portions are considerable. BAD: The price is on the steeper side. But since I don't usually like the cheapy pizzas from Little Caesars or Pizza Hut, and this is just as much as Round Table's it is fair. Paid $27 for X-large special. FAV: Barro's Special. It is like a roundtable's combination. The only thing to make it better is olives and substitute ham with sausage. read more

Did a review with a picture a few months back. It appears it never posted. All I can say is that this place has some of the best pizza around. Now the saying is true you get what you pay for this pizza is definitely on the expensive side. I ordered a large with everything on it and it was like 23.00 or 24.00 bucks something like that. It was so worth it. I would say it's as good as a few places that I have hit in Boston but it's close. Think I just found my dinner for tonight:). Like others have said, it's probably the best pizza in the area. The dough and ingredients are fresh and plentiful and though the prices may seem a little steep at first, their sizes run big (small is almost like a medium, medium closer to a large) and they're not shy with cheese and toppings. The pizza's never disappointed. Kind of a basic, functional average joe setup inside to plop down with a pitcher of cold beer and watch sports on one of the several TV's, nothing fancy here. The employees do seem a little curt and the owner could spend a little more time on customer service training (don't think I've seen any of them smile) and less on fancy LCD screens at the register, but I usually just pickup pizza to go, so not a big deal. Oh yeah, and for whatever reason, unless you're Paul Bunyan or Shaq, you'll have trouble with the men's urinal. read more
