XL Ham cheese pizza places
J R.

One of our all-time favorite pizza places. Grew up in Diamond Bar and this was our go-to. Not much authentic left in DB and Walnut. Went there yesterday for our classic ham and cheese pizza and it was delicious as always!! Actually it was extra yummy and cheesy! I commuted home with it and it was still so delicious!! Service- I simply call it in and swing by to pick it up. Same friendly guy every time. Ambience- hardly dine in, but there's plenty of seating. Perfect for team parties and office lunches. Can you come to Eastvale/Chino Preserve area? We don't have any good pizza.

Barro's Pizza is a staple for us we eat here about once a month, almost always for takeout (we've only dined in once). Our go-to order is the 20-piece chicken wings, which are hands-down the most worth-it item, plus the Barro Special and a pineapple & sausage pizza with extra cheese. The Barro Special is loaded with bell peppers which I love and the extra cheese just hits the spot. The crust is perfection, and I always get ranch on the side for that perfect dip (chef's kiss!). The staff here are always so nice, helpful, and in great spirits, which we really appreciate. While waiting for our pizza, we can't resist trying our luck on the claw machine there goes $10 every time! Parking in the plaza is never an issue, and as a bonus, there's a Paris Baguette a few doors down, which has become our go-to dessert stop after pizza. They also have Monday-Wednesday specials, but they're only for one-topping pizzas. Honestly, I wish they'd switch it up to two-topping specials for a bit more variety. All in all, great pizza, great vibes, and consistently solid food that keeps us coming back.

This is my dad's favorite pizza place and he's been taking my family here for the past decade. It's always delicious and fresh, their wings are also phenomenal! The interior has a bunch of TVs which is great for watching sports! I always look forward to coming here.

Joes special added mushrooms. Boom!!

Menu as of 1/28/26

Updated menu price and menu item as of 1/28/26. Decent homey food. I've been coming to this spot for over 10 years. Its not gourmet but it solid comfort food at times.

I used to eat at this spot when I was in high school at DBHS, my friend worked here. I revisited this last weekend and can say it's still as good now as I remember it. The pizza is pricey but comes with great quality and taste. Even the garlic bread, while basic, is tasty. Their salads are pretty janky but I was able to pretend that it was a beneficial choice. The game room is a complete rip off. $1 per game for .10 cent prizes that even a gifted child is going to struggle to win. I saw failure with every parent and child during my visit. They should put some kid appropriate interactive arcade games in to promote play with socialization as the prize. No complaints on the service. Shortly after I arrived a large little league team came to celebrate a victory. The young lady taking orders handled the crowd well, the guys preparing the food dished out quality pizza all afternoon long. The restaurant is clean with plenty of seating. I had to shove off a cigarette reeking homeless dude who was going table by table trying to take food.

Wow -- My Lunch Spot did not disappoint…read more My partner and I travel from LA to Riverside pretty often to visit family, and we're always on the hunt for new food spots along the way. Traffic was brutal as usual, so we decided to stop earlier than planned and came across My Lunch Spot. After checking out their website and seeing the detailed sandwich photos, we were sold immediately. And what better time to write a quick review than when sitting in traffic. We placed a pickup order for two sandwiches: * The Turkey Club with extra provolone * The Bulgogi Beef Sandwich with jalapeños When I walked in, the ladies behind the counter greeted me right away and had my order ready to go. Fast, friendly service -- always appreciated when you're hungry and sitting through SoCal traffic. I also ordered a combo with a large drink and chips, and tried the Lavender Earl Grey iced tea. First thing I noticed: the place was spotless. Seriously clean and well kept, which honestly says a lot about a restaurant. Now the important part -- the sandwiches. As soon as I opened the Bulgogi Beef sandwich and pulled the pre-cut halves apart, the melted cheese stretched perfectly between both sides. At that point I already knew it was going to be good. And it absolutely was. The jalapeños added just the right amount of heat without overpowering the flavor of the beef. The Turkey Club was equally satisfying. Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and made with care. Even the pickles stood out -- crisp, flavorful, and surprisingly the perfect addition to each bite. And one more thing: the Lavender Earl Grey iced tea was really refreshing. Just a heads up, it's unsweetened, but after adding a packet of sugar it was perfect. Safe to say we found a new regular stop on our Riverside drives. Big thanks to the ladies working that afternoon. We'll definitely be back.

On the recent visit, I tried their Grilled Chicken Rice Plate. I got the meal for $10.99. The chicken was so tender and flavorful! The coleslaw was fresh and crisp. The service is always great and the staff is so friendly. The restaurant is clean and has plenty of seats. Went on a weekday during lunch, a few people were sitting and eating. I ordered their 3 for $10, bucket of chicken, small order of chicken nuggets. Everything was right under $40. The 3 for $10 are regular sized fried chicken sandwiches, it was tasty and juicy. My husband would have liked the chicken to be crisper. The nuggets were good as well, similar to McDonalds but better. The bucket of fried chicken were delicious as well. Same fried consistency as the chicken sandwich. Like a soft crisp? I didn't mind, maybe because they used tempura batter instead? We also tried all their sauces. $0.39 each, they were all good. I liked the spicy one. Overall, not bad, pretty good and will definitely come back due to the juiciness of the chicken, the price is pretty good and the customer service was great!

Great food, front-of-house needs a bit of work…read more.. We made reservations for Mother's Day brunch a week ahead and thankfully we did as they had booked up at least 1 or 2 days before. Parking is super easy as it's in a plaza and shares a big lot with other businesses. They had a special menu, so I'm not too sure what is and is not part of their usual menu, but this is what we ordered: 1. Baltimore Crab Cakes (comes with 2): we were pleasantly surprised as it came with a side salad; the crab cakes themselves were not dry at all and came with a good amount of crab. Delicious, 5/5 2. Heirloom tomato and stone fruit salad: one of the things they pride themselves on is sourcing their ingredients locally and sustainably. You can really tell with this dish that all of their ingredients are really high-quality and fresh. The stonefruit was super sweet. The price ($18) was a bit high for the portion size, so this was a 4/5 for us. 3. Crab & tonnarelli: really good cook on the pasta; my husband is really picky on pasta that's overcooked, but this came to us perfectly al dente. There was a good amount of crab as well, so we appreciated that they didn't skimp. That said, the taste was a bit one-toned and underseasoned, which is a lot coming from us since we typically complain about food being too salty. If it came with a bit more salt, it would've been one of our favorites. 3.5 (maybe 4)/5 4. Pork sisig and garlic rice: we love sisig, so we had to order it. While it was super flavorful and delicious, we couldn't finish it on the spot since it was pretty salty and we were getting full. We did take it home and cook some more vegetables into it to dilute the salt a bit. 4/5 5. Ricotta cheese pancakes: super fluffy and airy, you can tell why they need 20 minutes to prep them. Again, the fruit they used was super fresh and sweet. Loved, no notes. 5/5 Service-wise, there were some hiccups with our orders. Our salad came to us without the burrata and when we asked them about it, it took about 3-4 people double-checking their menu to confirm it actually came with burrata, then a handful more minutes to rectify it. It seemed strange to me that they were unfamiliar with their own menu. Our pork sisig dish came out much later than every other dish and our waiter had to check up on it a few times, so it may have just gotten missed. There seemed to be a lot of people working in the front, but somehow hard to flag them down and get helped when we needed it. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt as it was Mother's Day and I'm sure it was busier than usual. Our waiter was also gracious in comping a drink as a result of the long wait for the sisig. Overall, we'll still come back as we want to try other dishes and we do appreciate the freshness of the ingredients and their integration of vegetables with dishes, which can sometimes be hard to come by. Just wanted to provide some feedback on service in hopes they'll take it constructively.

My boyfriend loved his pastrami sandwich and regretted getting the regular as well. American Express is accepted as a payment option. The staff gave us a number to place on the table we sat at but we were free to grab any seat we liked. For seating, there were a few tables for parties of two and limited tables for bigger groups. Keep in mind if you need water or extra napkins, they'll have those near the bar seating. Both the Pink Vodka Pasta and Rich Miso Pasta exceeded our expectations! The miso pasta leans on the creamy side but pairs very well with the pink vodka pasta. The miso pasta didn't come with any protein by default, so we were glad that we added the Taiwanese sausage. Fun fact is that the meatball from the Pink Vodka Pasta is vegan! The portion size was super generous from both dishes and was beyond just two people. I wasn't expecting to discover pasta dishes that I'd consider as one of my favorites from this visit!
