Edited since I had time to think about my experience:…read more This is a very busy location. We waited nearly 2 hours for our table, but time went by quickly because my boyfriend and I played free video games the entire time! Unfortunately, we were not aware that we would have limited time to eat. Instead of 1 1/2 hours, we only had 45 minutes because last call was 9:30. We did feel rushed and were told by someone we would be given extra time, but we were not. Our waiter said the person who seated us was wrong. We still paid full price, which really didn't sit well with me since we weren't able to take our time to choose what we wanted to eat. Instead, we had to rush to order and got full quickly. Why didn't the hostess let us know when we arrived? For $85 a person, I would have gone somewhere else and come back another time to enjoy myself, not feel rushed and made to feel like I was eating desserts and side items that had been out all day. We didn't get to try the Wagyu burgers since there weren't any. Just empty trays. Four or five pieces of dessert to choose from. Not four or five types, just five left. I guess if you go later, they do not put any additional food out. Pretty disappointing, especially with the high cost. Our server, Kenzie, was very friendly and definitely made our night better. The restaurant has a very cool vibe and plays music loud, but not to where it's annoying. I recommend it; just go early.

There are plenty of seating. Food - super good! They make it so well and looks so yummy! It is as good as it looks. We ordered bulgogi, fresh salmon, lemon pepper salmon, spicy tuna, fresh ginger tuna, popping salmon, and spicy pork. It may seem a little pricey, but once you eat it, you realize that it's really filling. They put so much meat in there and packed the rice. 2 gets me full. I get one of I want a yummy snack. Service- amazing and fast! They're so nice. Addy helped us and she was great! So informative and answered all questions. Really recommend this place.

Tried the chipotle salmon, bulgogi, salmon, and fresh ginger tuna, and the fish tasted fresh. These can get super filling since there was a hefty amount of rice compared to the amount of topping. They have a water station and offer packets of soy sauce, wasabi and ginger if needed. Overall, quick service and great place to stop by when you're craving something fast and flavorful.

We got the pork belly, lamb and chicken skin and to my surprise all 3 were so good it's literally so hard to choose a favorite. I think we had the PERFECT mix of flavors though with these 3 choices. we had a corn cheese (heavenly) too which i liked to wrap around the skewer sometimes. This was enough to feed my female friend and i. I enjoyed it so much i kept recommending it to my family and friends and even bf so i could have it again ASAP

For skewers, we also ordered the squid, beef, and potato skewers which were all very tasty. Not alot of char but the meats were fairly tender. The golden pot was a pretty surprising hit at our table. The gold almost florescent broth has an interesting sour kick, almost like pickled veggies. Soup was a nice contrast to the meaty skewers and came with a variety of hot pot favorites like fish cake, imitation crab, napa cabbage, wood ear mushroom, vermicelli, and thinly sliced meat. Also when they see that you are running low on broth, they will pour some more in. This was especially helpful because they serve this over a fire which can evaporate alot of the soup. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated, and was even packed on a Monday night. Had a great experience and the food felt very familiar!

The young man working that day was super helpful and made our visit even better. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and had plenty of seating. They also have a great selection of meats, but I definitely recommend getting there early because some meats do sell out fast, which happened to us with a couple of the meats we originally wanted to try. We ended up ordering the ribs, pulled pork, brisket, cornbread, baked beans, mac and cheese. For dessert we ordered a tub of banana pudding. Everything was delicious yum! We always enjoy coming to Spirit of Texas and will definitely keep coming back!

I had asked for cornbread, but they told me they couldn't add it through Uber Eats, so it wasn't included. That was understandable, and I had assumed it was free because of some older menu photos on Yelp. Since I enjoyed the food, I decided to come back and order in person to avoid miscommunication. One thing I will mention is that they didn't include BBQ sauce on the side when I ordered via Uber Eats. If you're ordering a brisket sandwich, the sauce that's already on it isn't really enough. Today, I specifically asked to buy two pieces of cornbread because that was what I was really looking forward to. By the time I got home, I ate my sandwich and found a piece of hair in it. Not ideal, but mistakes happen. Then I went to get my cornbread and realized it wasn't in the bag at all. I had specifically asked for it, and I don't know whether I was charged for it because I didn't ask for a receipt since I paid by card. The workers were very friendly, and the food itself has been good except for the hair in my sandwich and today's Mac and cheese was very salt Overall my experience was pretty disappointing because again I did not get the corn bread I specifically came for and the hair in my food and the Mac and cheese was so salty I didn't even eat it. Last time I ordered the Mac and cheese was so good but not today
