And no it was not…read moreinitially my idea to watch B.E. but my friend made me do so & he reallllly wanted to see her. Yeppp I ended up watching the entire season of B.E. Hence here we are! My friend booked online the day off the event for an Upper Level VIP Booth for $300 + tax/fees. We had a good time & of course with thanks to the alcohol too :) Music was not bad but I felt it was better towards the end of the night. Well, here's the quick run down --- Arrived by 10:45PM. No lines whatsoever & no hostess at the front. Just the security working out front & they walked us in to our VIP table. The main club room was at no more than 40% capacity but the smaller patio room was packed (more chill vibe, music was not my liking tho). We didn't get the Upper Level Booth cuz there were hardly anyone there that bought a VIP booth so they closed off all that section. So we were on the floor bout 3 tables away from the DJ booth. The choice of alcohol (priced at $300) we wanted was not available said our hostess. IMO - there was not a lot of bottle choices to begin with. So we had to pick something of a higher price & we ended up having to gett a decent bottle priced at $500. Otherwise if not, we all be having hangover the next day! Oh don't forgot that increase of bottle price doesn't include tax & gratuity, so will have to pay more than what was paid online. 3 lovely waitresses did come out with signs & bottle sparkles to our table. They were super sweet. We had water bottles & mixers. I forgot her name but our assigned waitress came to check on us through out the night & made our drinks as needed. Service was good. They also had 1 aerialist which seemed a bit outta place & unnecessary . DJ Kim Lee did not come on til 11:30PM and left by 12:30AM! Her set was a-ok but we made the best of it & enjoyed our time out. We almost stayed til the end but left around 1:30AM where there was practically no one on the dance floor. Few wore masks & most did not. So all I can stay there was plenty of room to dance all over the main room & no long lines waiting for drinks at the bar or even at the restroom!

Overall, the experience is high energy and fun. I have been very impressed by the overall sound and lighting job. The bartenders are hot and attentive. The overall service is very good and I felt comfortable being there. I would definitely reccomend coming here if you are in the OC area.

We hosted my retirement party at The Country Club. We wanted something different from the usual…read morebuffet thing. The Country Club is beautiful. It's decorated in a 1930's speakeasy theme and is very clean and very well maintained!! My wife contacted Megan, the Event Coordinator who invited us to have dinner so we could check out the venue, go over some scenarios and sample the food. Megan was so super cool, friendly and knowledgeable. She made it easy...she was straight forward with pricing and had great suggestions. She listened to what we wanted and made all the necessary accommodations. We then did a food tasting to select the menu for the event. There was soooo much good food it was hard to make decisions but we did it!! Then came game day!! Megan and here team had everything ready to go. Megan introduced us to the staff members who would be serving us. Everyone was so nice, professional and attentive. Then came the food!! Everything was fantastic and beautifully displayed. Inside the venue there was plenty of seating and the space was spacious and clean. DJ Henry Fong played more old skool trance style which is totally up my alley. We had a blast! They packed the "dance floor" to the point ribs would get crushed for the next 1000 Ways to Die series. Bartenders so far are chill, but I only go to one guy and he deserves it. No offense to the others that I've yet to interact with. The bottle girls seem miserable, which sucks cause you'd think they'd be allowed to dance if it isn't busy, but maybe they're just burnt out? Who knows, but I get it. Time caters more to clubbing, whatever that is now, than dancing. The men just stand around, take up space, and expect a woman to fall onto them. Unless you really push for it, dancing isn't encouraged. You could get a table, but even then the energy around them felt off. Overall, there's a noticeable disconnect in the vibe. Security along with ticketing staff has been safe, consistent, and as long as you're nice they treat you the same or they push you along. It's a coin flip.

It would have been better to eliminate the microphones and amplifiers. The singing and guitar would have carried throughout the room easily and been much more enjoyable. Seating was at tables and the only people who could see the footwork of the dancers were the people whose tables were next to the stage. The paella served to us was terrible. The rice was mushy and the serving was minimal. We've been to performances of flamenco and had paella and the presentation at Sevilla Night Club of Costa Mesa did not compare. It was not worth the money!

I hadn't been to Mission Control in about two years, so I was really looking forward to going back…read more Unfortunately, it just wasn't the same experience I remembered. There used to be an area with around a dozen pinball machines, but that area was completely bare this time. There were still pinball machines along another wall, but I remember them being in both areas, so it felt like there were quite a few fewer machines overall. A few of the other games weren't working either, including the air hockey and basketball games. I also noticed there wasn't a DJ that night. That may have been something that simply wasn't scheduled for that evening, so I'm not going to hold that against the place. I'm just mentioning what I experienced. I did get to play Galaga, which was fun, but I was hoping to play Centipede and it wasn't there that night. I ended up playing only two games before heading downstairs to the tiki bar. Maybe it was just an off night, and I may have caught Mission Control at a bad time. I just remember it being a much more lively and fun arcade the last time I was there. I was disappointed because I had really been looking forward to coming back. I hope it was just an off night, because I'd like to see it get back to the place I remember.

Lets just say I made a yelp account just so I could right a review on this place. (Thats how you know it was that bad) The security staff treated us poorly with the exception of 2 or 3 guards. The main club promoter tried to make it up to us by giving us free entrance next time we came but why would we EVER want to come back to a place that gives you terrible service and is rude and disrespectful? I was accused for drinking alcohol inside my car (im 19 btw) and I was denied entrance into the club. I had not been drinking on the premises what so ever. And after I was OFFERED BOTTLE SERVICE AFTER ACCUSING ME OF UNDERAGE DRINKING. Im 19 they clearly knew this and STILL OFFERED it anyways. After treating us poorly, kicking us out, making us stand outside for almost 2 hours, they FINALLY let us meet the rest of our party inside. I only went in because i didnt want to ruin anyone else's night. If it was up to me I would've left. Point is I have never been treated so poorly by a business in my life untill this night. They ruined my BIRTHDAY and my entire clubbing experience. (This was my first time ever going to a club). If you are looking for a great time, and great service dont come to el parral. Save your time, money, and gas. Im not one to complain, I can usually put up with alot but this was just by far the worst service I have ever received. The one star is for those 2 security guards who tried to help me out. They were the best thing about this place. :)
