I go here on a regular basis now for their sandwiches and their salads! Reasonably priced for the portions you get. Their grilled chicken salad is good and the Chicken Ranch sandwich is EXCELLENT! They oven bake their chicken. The staff is super nice! I should probably note that if your going there during normal lunch time (rush hour) allow yourself a little extra time. They are timely but I wouldn't consider it a fast food joint. Definitely worth the wait! read more

This is the only "ma and pop" pizza place i can say is always 100%. The crust Cheese pepperoni, hell all the toppings are great and the wings are fat. Discovered Barro's several year's ago while out here on business an was very impressed with the quality of the pizza (crust, toppings, etc.). Its better than any pizza I've found in Dallas and I always come here when in LA. Got a large today and my wife tried for the first time, who usually doesn't like pizza. She agrees it is very good, and says it is the best pizza she's ever had in the US. The toppings are plenty, but sliced very thin allowing a lot of flavor and a nice chewy crust. Not everyone will agree, but for me Barro's higher prices are easily understood when you have a bite of their superior pizza. For me, the best pizza I've had since the last time I ate here 2 years ago. For my wife, the best she has had in the US. Keep up the good work and great pizza Barro's! read more

This is my favorite pizza place. They have really good dough for the crust - the texture and flavor are just perfect. They never skimp on the cheese and their toppings are very good. Pricy af! But the pizza and the environment is nice. I ordered the Barro Special in XL and it came out to be 30 bucks. Holy shit expensive. It was pretty good though. Has ham chess bell peppers bacon bits mushrooms. The cheese got thick really af once its no longer hot and they put way too much in the center of the pizza. So the pizza slices are stuffed and will usually break off at the tip. Its whatever. The environment of the place is on some working class shit. Pretty neat. Plenty of big screen tvs to catch games and they got beer on tap. Im not sure id come back sorely cause of the price. read more

The pizza here is good. Open kitchen lets you see the fresh dough being rolled out Thick chewy fresh crust, lots of cheese and other ingredients. However I don't really like their sitting/dining area. Picnic table bench attached to the floor are ok for kids. The seating keeps me away from more frequent visits. First of all, everything on the menu is overpriced for the quality of the food. However, the main reason for the One Star Rating is due to terrible customer service I experienced here recently. I politely asked one of the servers if he could switch the channel to the game I wanted to watch on one of the TVs I was sitting close to. But then he started giving me the dirty looks and attitude! Then he starts to speak something in Spanish to one of his coworkers about me. I really... did ask politely. I was speechless at this guy, but kept my composure.
