XL Ham cheese pizza places
J R.

One of our all-time favorite pizza places. Grew up in Diamond Bar and this was our go-to. Not much authentic left in DB and Walnut. Went there yesterday for our classic ham and cheese pizza and it was delicious as always!! Actually it was extra yummy and cheesy! I commuted home with it and it was still so delicious!! Service- I simply call it in and swing by to pick it up. Same friendly guy every time. Ambience- hardly dine in, but there's plenty of seating. Perfect for team parties and office lunches. Can you come to Eastvale/Chino Preserve area? We don't have any good pizza.

Barro's Pizza is a staple for us we eat here about once a month, almost always for takeout (we've only dined in once). Our go-to order is the 20-piece chicken wings, which are hands-down the most worth-it item, plus the Barro Special and a pineapple & sausage pizza with extra cheese. The Barro Special is loaded with bell peppers which I love and the extra cheese just hits the spot. The crust is perfection, and I always get ranch on the side for that perfect dip (chef's kiss!). The staff here are always so nice, helpful, and in great spirits, which we really appreciate. While waiting for our pizza, we can't resist trying our luck on the claw machine there goes $10 every time! Parking in the plaza is never an issue, and as a bonus, there's a Paris Baguette a few doors down, which has become our go-to dessert stop after pizza. They also have Monday-Wednesday specials, but they're only for one-topping pizzas. Honestly, I wish they'd switch it up to two-topping specials for a bit more variety. All in all, great pizza, great vibes, and consistently solid food that keeps us coming back.

This is my dad's favorite pizza place and he's been taking my family here for the past decade. It's always delicious and fresh, their wings are also phenomenal! The interior has a bunch of TVs which is great for watching sports! I always look forward to coming here.

Menu as of 1/28/26

Updated menu price and menu item as of 1/28/26. Decent homey food. I've been coming to this spot for over 10 years. Its not gourmet but it solid comfort food at times.

I used to eat at this spot when I was in high school at DBHS, my friend worked here. I revisited this last weekend and can say it's still as good now as I remember it. The pizza is pricey but comes with great quality and taste. Even the garlic bread, while basic, is tasty. Their salads are pretty janky but I was able to pretend that it was a beneficial choice. The game room is a complete rip off. $1 per game for .10 cent prizes that even a gifted child is going to struggle to win. I saw failure with every parent and child during my visit. They should put some kid appropriate interactive arcade games in to promote play with socialization as the prize. No complaints on the service. Shortly after I arrived a large little league team came to celebrate a victory. The young lady taking orders handled the crowd well, the guys preparing the food dished out quality pizza all afternoon long. The restaurant is clean with plenty of seating. I had to shove off a cigarette reeking homeless dude who was going table by table trying to take food.

Went to buy Sicilian pizza buts it's literAlly an overpriced cheese pizza. It cost $16 freakin dollars. And the oregano was overwhelming.

There's plenty of tables, including bigger tables that can seat 2 to 6 people. We ordered Combo #3 which comes with a medium Bulgogi Pizza, any whole chicken (we chose sweet garlic chicken), and a 2L soda bottle. Since last visit, they've updated their menus to QR code scan on phone, rid of physical menus, a solid change. Service here is quite nice as well, even when the restaurant is busy, staff takes their time to check on your table multiple times, very pleasant. Although a small restaurant, vibes are always nice inside as the lights are a bit dimmed, similar to a pub. Great vibes overall. Excited to visit again soon!

The sweet potato pizza is an absolute must-try. It's completely different from your typical tomato-sauce pizza. They are slightly sweet, creamy, and super comforting. Surprisingly addictive. The fried chicken is perfectly cooked. Crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Definitely try the sweet-chilli sauce. The flavor is amazing and well balanced. Korean seasoned chicken really nails that sweet-chili combo that pretty much anyone can enjoy. One thing I really like is that the chicken isn't overly salty like a lot of American fried chicken. The batter is light, crispy, and flavorful without being heavy. If you're looking for something different but still very satisfying, this spot is worth checking out. Highly recommend it. Just try it for yourself.

I seek out good pizza, especially Napoli style and again, this is one of the best, if not the best in the US. Rivals some in Naples, I have to say. Even their Marinara Pizza which is basic, no cheese, is phenomenal. The Sauce and dough!!! The Pesto, Regina and Diavola are my faves. I haven't tried the pasta but need to. I'm sure it's just as great. I hope they keep coming to Santa Clarita. Big fan over here.

In 2023, Yelp ranked this as the 13th top pizza spot in the US and Canada, which is an awesome accolade if you think about how many pizza spots are out there. Anyway, my go-to has always been the Salsiccia, which is a mushroom-and-sausage pizza. Other favorites include the Carnivora for meat eaters and the Margherita if you want something classic. The dough is soft and chewy with nicely charred blisters around the crust, the sauce they use really sings, and the ingredients (particularly the basil) are fresh and flavorful. I definitely recommend eating their pies as soon as you receive them. My wife and I don't even wait to drive back home because we know the best time to eat a piping hot pizza is right away. I look forward to trying their pesto-based pizzas, like the Regina, next time we visit!
