We reached out to five different highly rated landscaping companies for quotes, and Pacific Landscaping & Maintenance stood out not only for their incredibly competitive pricing, but also for their professionalism, responsiveness, and communication throughout the entire process. Michael, the owner, was absolutely fantastic to work with. He was extraordinarily responsive, communicative, and patient with all of our questions from start to finish. Carlos was on-site every single day managing our project, which included installing underground irrigation, leveling our yard, and laying new TifTuf Bermuda sod. He and his crew worked incredibly hard, paid attention to the details, and made sure everything was done right. What impressed us even more was that they went above and beyond the original scope of work, taking care of additional things without charging us extra. That kind of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction is hard to find! Even after the project was completed, Michael personally came by to make sure we were completely satisfied with the results. He also took the time to walk us through important care instructions for our new grass so we could keep it healthy and thriving long after his crew finished. The before-and-after photos truly speak for themselves. What was once a large, uneven dirt yard is now a beautiful, lush green space that we can actually enjoy. The transformation is incredible, and we're so excited to finally have a backyard we love! We genuinely couldn't recommend Michael, Carlos, and the entire Pacific Landscaping & Maintenance team more highly. Their pricing, communication, workmanship, and willingness to go the extra mile made this one of the best experiences we've had working with a contractor. Five stars, without hesitation

It wasn't a complex job, but the the site was a giant mess, with a lot of overgrowth and debris. Michael's bid was well within my budget, and he was able to schedule the job for a time that was convenient for me. He also offered clear explanations about why the work would best be done a certain way. When it came to the work itself, his crew was outstanding. They arrived on time, kept on schedule, and cleaned up the site at the end of every work day. I have never seen such an organized, well managed job site. They were truly exemplary in all respects, but especially in regards to the quality of their work. When it comes time to replace my fence, my patio cover, or my driveway, I will definitely call Michael.

We feel like we're on vacation every day spending time in our backyard! Tristan designed and oversaw our project and he was a pleasure to work with and did a fantastic job. He was always easy to get ahold of, was really patient with the various changes we kept making, and made sure that every detail was taken care of so that we were totally happy with the end result. I also really appreciated how he always suggested cost effective options to help us stick to our budget. And to top it all off, at the end they realized we'd overpaid by $1000 and sent us a check we hadn't even asked for or realized we were due! We highly recommend Modern Yardz; I don't write a lot of reviews but Tristan and his team did such a great job that they deserved a glowing review.

We came in with very little input / ideas and right away Ashleigh and the owner Ryan were on the phone walking through renderings they had made using GoogleEarth. We knew we wanted to replace the dead grass and the shrubs with something low maintenance, but after talking through the options and the pricing (which was very, very reasonable) we decided to redo the driveway and the patio deck too. Anthony was our Project Manager. He was very friendly, a great communicator, and had a bunch of great ideas (e.g., lighting), but was never pushy. Luis was our Foreman. He and the crew - Esteban, Christian, and Carlos - were incredibly hard workers. I work from home and every single day these guys were there 10-15 minutes before start time and bustin' it, all during the heat wave too... Everything was on schedule, even with some additions that we made along the way, and there were no surprises on the budget. The thing that I appreciated the most though was how much everyone genuinely cared about the end product. Perfect example was the crew coming back out - even after final payment - to restake the trees after a heavy wind storm. You can tell from top to bottom, this company really cares about its customers. That can be really hard to find nowadays.

We met with four different companies and received quotes from each, but we either weren't confident in their work or just didn't feel they were the right fit until we met with JG Lawns. Craig came out to provide a free estimate and was brutally honest LOL. He never tried to oversell us or promise things that weren't realistic.  His personality and knowledge earned our trust, and combined with fair pricing, made our final decision to move forward with this company. Our project was originally expected to take about a week, but due to issues with choosing pavements and the paving company shipping the wrong materials, it ended up taking about a month. Even with the unexpected delay, Eric and Jesus (his dad) were fantastic throughout the entire process. They kept us updated every step of the way, explained any changes, and always made sure we were comfortable with the plan before moving forward. Their crew worked incredibly hard every single day. They treated our home with respect, paid attention to every detail, and always cleaned up before leaving for the day. Their pride in their work definitely shows in the finished product. We couldn't be happier with how our backyard turned out. It exceeded our expectations and has completely transformed our outdoor space.
