We got a coupon in the mail for buy one get one half off. After I picked my son up from school, we decided to check it out. It was in the new shopping strip in front of Speedway on 23 N. FYI, You can't turn into it from 23. You have to go past the light on Hyatt rd. and there's an entrance. It was a bright, happy, clean Chipotle Style restaurant. They had cute balloons in the ceiling and a lot of orange colors everywhere. It was very modern and cute. The menu was very self explanatory. You pick your burrito or bowl or whatever you feel like. You pick your rice and beans, your protein and vegetables. The last part is the sauce. They had a burrito house sauce that was so good. They let you try the sauce on a chip if you can't decide. The large burrito was as big as my son's head. He got the mild chicken burrito , rice (it's Mexican rice) black beans, corn, pickled onions, queso cheese and the house burrito sauce. I got the regular crispy chicken burrito with rice, black beans, fajita onion and peppers, jalapeño salsa, lettuce and shredded cheese and pickle jalapeños too. I got the burrito sauce as well. The portion was so big I could only eat half. It was good, fresh and tasty. Is it better than Chipotle? My son doesn't think so but it's a lot closer to us, where we can get it to go without eating a soggy burrito. I'm happy we have more options living up this way. I want to go back and try a churro!

I'm always looking for good authentic (or as close to as possible) Mexican or Tex-mex food. I'm from Houston so my standards are high lol anyways this place did not disappoint! The service was great too and it was clean.

And I think that might have been our downfall. We went the breakfast route and started with a Cinnamon roll made right on the griddle. It created this crispy char that gave the roll more of a funnel cake texture. Unique, and the icing definitely enhances it (as it does most cinnamon rolls). Their special breakfast sandwich, "The Morning Wake-up" touts a "2x the size English Muffin" and they were not lying. This sandwich had cheese, multiple meats and vegetables, and I needed to take half of it home due to sheer size. What it didn't have... sauce. What it needed... sauce, syrup, aioli or something to lubricate all of those toppings. The breakfast potatoes on the side needed salt/seasoning/sauce, too, to be more to my liking. It was a similar experience with my wife's Reuben and the fries that she ordered; the sandwich had its moments, but it made me wish one of us got a burger like most of the other patrons.

Clouds are threatening rain but the day is in the 70's and inside/outside patio doors are open. After a warm greating, we were seated and our favorite chips and salsa were delivered . We are off to a great start! The salsa is house made with chunks of tomato, onion, peppers sourced from New Mexico and other spices that come together perfectly. This is one of those things you want a day old - it gives the flavors a chance to deepen and is the best salsa EVER. Our son joined us for lunch (which was a treat for us). BUT he is deeply committed to their kid's Mac & Cheese. (SMH) and the chips and salsa. Dont blame us; he was raised better than that! Hubs and I ordered the Lunch Shredded Beef Burrito. (Our favorite meal at Chili Verde.). The beef is fork tender and so flavorable. Wrapped in a fresh tortilla and served with your choice of red or green sauce on top. We opted to use that awesome salsa to top our burtito tableside. Lunch burritos include one side. Rice and beans are the default options but I ordered the corn and hubs ordered the mashed potatoes. Dinner includes 2 sides and a larger burrito. The mashed potatoes are hand-mashed with a few chunks here and there and lightly spiced. These potatoes are a family favorite. The corn is whole kernals seasoned with onions and bacon and lightly sweetened. This is my all time go-to! Hubs also recommends the pinto beans. Served as a whole bean served in a little gravy/liquid; the side dish is peppery and yummy. The secret is out about this restaurant and it is always busy. I recommend making a reservation through open table before you visit. I posted pics of today's lunch including our empty plates that we easily could have licked clean!

We each had different dishes-- Green Chile Stew, Three Sisters (I asked for a combo of chorizo and beef and they said, "Of course!"), Sandia Sopapilla with shredded beef. All were excellent and were attractively plated-- it wouldn't have mattered, but it was those little extras that really elevated the experience. We were also given a bowl of their latest salsa to try-- sweet and mildly spicy watermelon! We are regulars here and always enjoy the food and the pleasant ambiance, but this brunch was truly exceptional. We ended our meal with a plate of puffy Sopapillas with honey to share. Delicious! **This is New Mexican and NM-inspired food, not the same as Mexican or Tex-Mex.** If you're not familiar with it, you may ask for samples of sauces and meats before you order! NM cuisine is less about piles of cheese and taco shells and more about the flavors of their regional peppers (which they fly in fresh here!). It's a blend of Mexican, Spanish and Pueblo Indigenous foods, not American-Mexican. And yes, you still get great chips & salsa, but you're going to want to pass on the refills to make room for the stars of the meal-- the e

This was just as good if not better than the first time that I ordered So, why do I like Qdoba? I like when you come in atmosphere is fun. They have Spanish music playing you going to queue. I like that. It is an assembly line type of place where you pick your rice. You pick your protein you pick your other ingredients. We all know the drill... But the ingredients just seem always fresh plus I like the flavor of their meat so far I haven't had any ultra leathery meat. It's always been soft and delicious with full of flavor. That's important. You get to add things like guac for no extra money whereas their competitor next-door-- that's an extra up charge over there, but not here!... If you join the rewards program, they'll get free chips and salsa. The salsa nicely made, and their a few to choose from, and flavorful. You can make your burrito or bowl of meal and that just adds a soda and some chips and salsa to whatever you purchased and you end up saving a lot of money. I believe the one I got four days ago came out to like 13 plus due to tax. I was really pleased with the cost and the bowl is huge. Just huge... Definitely can be made into two meals. I'm very happy that there's a Qdoba less than 2 miles away from my house. I will be back.

However I'm back today, seem like they got a new guy behind the counter, also I assuming the cashier is the manager of a trainer, he kept on ordering the two people behind the counter what to do, not professional at all, the way he telling them in front of the customer like he want to show his power over them. Anyway, I got in line, I assuming the guy behind the counter is new, cuz the cashier guy kept on telling him to do things, I ordered the blow, add on this, add on that, but the guy look like he's new and careful what he is doing, giving me the blow so little of everything. So if you all go there, hopefully you don't get the same guy, or you probably have to stop by another place for more food before you head home The guy is black, same as the cashier. I probably won't be back at this location, I still support QDOBA, they do have good food, but if I run into the same probably next time, I won't be back to any QDOBA at all, good luck to you all

The restaurant looked like it had many rooms though so there could have been a few tables per room. Our waiter was prompt and got us taken care of right away. The menu did not have as many choices as other Mexican places. It had enchiladas, fajitas, tacos and burritos and chimichangas. I think they are known for their sauces. They had a lot of sauces from mild to spicy. The menu only had a front and back side and did not have what I was craving: Carne Asada. Most Mexican places have a menu with pages that flip. I was on a strict diet and it was hard to find something healthy. I got the fajita steak salad. I asked for dressing on the side and no cheese. My son and husband both got the Chuychanga which is their fried burrito. We also got an order of cheese dip. My salad came out with cheese in it...boo...but I picked it off. It did not look appealing but I was pleasantly surprised! Let me tell you that it was delicious!!! The dressing was so delicious as well, but the salad didn't need dressing. The steak was flavorful and I almost ate the whole thing. I also added the Fresca salsa as suggested by our waiter. I'm actually craving it right now! It's something I would order whether I'm on or off my diet. My husband and son loved their chimichangas or as it was called "Chuychangas". It wasn't as good as the one we had in Tucson but it was really good! Cheese dip was just ok, nothing to brag about. Our waiter was so good, quick and helpful. Service, Food and Drinks were great and although it was a simple menu! We will be back!

I guess I expected something closer to fast food tacos, based on the look of the building and the very little I knew. I would call this more fast casual if I have to categorize it for simplicity's sake. Walk to the counter, read off of the menu, make your order with the cashier, and pay before you sit down. Easy Peasy. Then wait a few minutes and while you're sitting, they bring your order to you. But somethign about this place feels a little higher quality than fast food. I am not sure if it's the full bar as the central hub of the dining area or the fact that the tacos appear and taste higher quality than fast food. But I'd return here again.
