Classic coffee shop on north loop. Huge patio with shaded areas. Great coffee and cocktails. Parking is limited but there is street parking a block away. Dog friendly, too!

me and my friend came here to study, because i saw online it was a coffee shop/vegan restaurant! i thought this was perfect since i am a vegan. the vibes here were amazing and very austin. plenty of cozy outdoor seating options, (not as many inside seating options tho, so if you come when its busy be prepared to sit outside) the weather was quite nice so we sat outside. i ordered the vegan flautas, a potato and tofu scramble taco, and a dirty chai. i also later had the prickly pear margarita. all of my food was delicious and my friend enjoyed all of her food too. the service was very quick and friendly. the vegan menu is also quite extensive and there are lots of options!!! i would absolutely come back to double trouble

I came here for coffee and breakfast. This place is super cute! The staff is helpful, kind and friendly. Drip coffee (Barrett's beans) is quality and inexpensive. Migas taco was made fresh and was 10/10. The backyard space he massive with tons of seating. Perfect for a book club meeting. Parking is semi limited.

The frozen drinks were GOOD! Service was great. We also had two tacos - the short rip and the pastor. We preferred the pastor. The short rib taco was extremely flavorful. Great ambiance and general vibe. The outdoor seating is phenomenal for patio weather.

Great experience. Really friendly bartender, 4 dollar Lonestar on tap, and an awesome outdoor patio ambiance. Food menu is extensive. Can't wait to try it but we were doing liquid lunch (dinner)! They also have a darlin' lil play area to bring the kids so we'll definitely be back for that.

Had a nice glass of cold brew! Excellent flavor! Kind of a caramel tone to it. Very quickly ordered & delivered to me! Cool vibe to the place too. A fair amount of free parking in front, and some cool little stores to browse through. I will definitely return!

Best coffee shop that I order my coffee beans to be delivered!! The owner is incredibly knowable. He wants to make sure all of his employees enjoy working together with everyone that works at Double Trouble and Barrett's! He has a lot of great employees!! The ambiance is epic!! I give Double Trouble a strong 10 out of 10!! Thank You for asking what I thought about Double Trouble!!

This is such a great concept place in North Loop. Huge outdoor patio and space with play areas for kids (of all ages) and a stage. I love that you can get delicious food, coffee, tea, beer, and cocktails all in one spot. Another cool, Austin-style vibe that's super welcoming. Employees seem to really love being there.

Service is great, location is awesome, ambience is always good. But let's talk about the food The food at this place is always hit or miss. Particularly, the portions are always WILD. It seems like sometimes it's just literally thrown together, with a literal whole can of beans in a bowl or literally three beans. There's no in between unless you specifically ask for normal portion sizes. Please take a look at this photo of a chorizo and bean taco. This is a norm here. And yes we still come because it's convenient and an easy place to grab a taco. But .. goddamn, please for the love of god stop giving us slop in a foil.

This is a hidden gem! The quesadillas were so delicious and such a good portion size for only $10. I got the guac to the guac was pretty mediocre. It definitely lacked flavor. But the quesadillas were so good. I want to come back and eat the quesadillas and try their tacos. The patio in the back was very chill and had a nice vibe to it. I definitely want to come when they have their shows during the week.

Was out for a walk from my AirBnB and stumbled across this coffee shop at sunset. What a pleasant surprise. Double Trouble is a moody coffee shop with a restaurant and "study hall" out back, where a rousing game of trivia was underway when I was there. In the coffee shop proper, Smashing Pumpkins was playing and black, gothic candles set the stage. But, you ask, how was the coffee? This is a coffee shop, after all. Solid, I tell you. Both the decaf cortado and decaf macchiato were on point, strong and stout, bitterness cut by the milk. With the coffee shop and restaurant, along with beer and cocktails offered, Triple Trouble might be a more worthy moniker. Looking forward to returning upon my next visit to Austin.

Came here on a Friday evening after work with my sister, and we had to spend quite a bit of time trying to find parking. We eventually found a spot on a residential street nearby, and we're able to eat at the restaurant outside on the patio. We both ordered the flautas (vegan) and this dish is the reason I'm giving a 5-star rating. There were four tortilla rolls each filled with potato, with ample sauce and veggies on top. It was the right size for a meal and everyone was raving about them. Someone even asked my sister if she tried them randomly when she went to go get water, haha! While I appreciated the space for outdoor seating, it was obviously very HOT which made it a bit uncomfortable to sit outside and eat. Still, I'm glad I tried a new vegan dish that was worthy of my time and money!

Great place! We were surprised to find how much outdoor space they had. Tacos and Coffee were very good. Great place to spend the afternoon!

The mezcal selection is amazing, which is really the whole point. It's the best way to try something new, with over 20 different agave spirits from all over Mexico. The staff is super knowledgeable and passionate, and they take the time to walk you through the differences in flavor, region, and even who made it. You can tell they really care about honoring the traditions and the people behind the spirits. Cocktails are thoughtful and seasonal, but I'd recommend trying at least one pour neat. The food is just as good, as you might have guessed by the menu next door. The thick cut tortilla chips are unbeatable, especially when paired with fresh guacamole and homemade salsa. Whether you're a mezcal nerd or just curious, La Mezca is one of the most unique and thoughtful drinking experiences in Austin. I'll definitely be back.

Rosé Gosé was a delightful Mother's Day lunch spot. It is a whole vibe, and it is uniquely French! When we walked in an artist was playing romantic music on his keyboard, which set the tone for the brunch. It is a small restaurant inside with a larger area of seating on the patio. Of course, our reservations were inside in the comforts of air conditioning. You immediately notice a wine wall hence the name Rosé Gosé. The restaurant has many windows which provide lots of natural light. The tables house miniature yellow roses and utensils sat in a small wooden block...very French. All the servers were dressed in mauve clothing that resemble scrubs from a hospital. If someone stepped out in a French beret, I would have fallen over. Our server, Sergey, immediately served us water and took our order. The restaurant was highlighted as a modern European bistro. The atmosphere was charming, elegant, and stylish making it ideal for a Mother's Day brunch. My hubby ordered a ribeye, eggs and French Fries. I ordered the avocado toast with salmon and egg whites. While I'm not a huge red meat eater, I tasted a piece of the hubs ribeye and it was nicely prepared. My avocado toast was yummy to the nth degree! Everything was perfect. The avocado was precisely cut and at the right level of softness. The salmon was chopped into tiny little squares and so enjoyable to eat. We could not be more pleased. With a name like Rosé Gosé you would expect their drinks to be superb. My hubby ordered a hibiscus tea, which was delightful. I ordered a mimosa that had high quality ingredients and was perfectly balanced...so smooth. We were also pleased with the drinks. This was the first time at Rosé Gosé, however, it definitely will not be the last.

Their food is also pretty decent, but I primarily go there for the drinks. Gotta get my wraps done before it actually closes down because I still don't know how to stay around
