Later that day I returned with a liner that Leslie's Pools sent with my pool order and it was too small for my pool and the manager did not refund or assist with calling corporate for the refund. I sent L&J an email with pictures and the owner's response was that it's environmental. I spoke to several pool, stone and concrete contractors. Their professional opinion is that it's the result of poor workmanship, that the job was not done properly due to poor concrete mix and that's why it's crumbling. That the patio should last at least 15-20 years or more. A deck like this should have been built to withstand any environmental issues. They also stated that if they had done the job themselves, in good faith, they would have done the right thing and rectified it. I also know many people with concrete decks they have had for years and never had this problem. The owner at L&J said he would repair it, but it would cost me. I already paid for the deck so why should I have to pay for it again! Now under 5 years and it's all torn up and looks terrible and is causing me major stress and will have to pay someone else to repair/replace it. This picture shows what happened after we closed the pool last summer. Just under 4 years old and we didn't even have bad winters (environmental) the last 2 years. All the while during the summer you could feel the deck crumbling under your feet. I just wonder how he would feel and what he would do if he was left with something like this.

The project was planned for March 2023. Fast forward to now the team came in and did exactly what we discussed there were some minor chances which was done with further advice when I met Derick " very nice guys he is a customer pleaser he ensure that you are 100% happy or the job is not done". I have been in the construction industry for 15 years and I have worked with pool companies on several different occasions and believe me this is the first I'm meeting and working with a company where everyone affiliated with the company from the owners down to all the workers are honest, hardworking, polite and very professional. I'm pleased to have met and work with them, I will continue to work with them going forward and I will recommend them to all my family, friends, acquaintances and business associates. These guys don't get 100% in my book they get 110% for going the extra mile in costumer's satisfaction, their prices are very reasonable and economical base on market value with you also getting value for every dollar. Always positive first (if I must): We used this pool company last year as first time pool owners for some basic maintenance as we got use to having a pool and what we needed to do. They answered our calls, showed up for appts on time, and helped us out as we needed it. Prices for things were relatively the same as other pool companies. So why not use them again this year? Sure gladly.... Let's schedule a pool opening.... However, this year has been a complete 180 from our previous experience and why I felt the need to let all of Yelp know............ BEWARE! Absolutely a horrible experience. We had an appointment for a pool opening from over a month ago. A few days before our appt, the office calls and cancels due to "being behind from the weather". Mind you they tell us this right before a heat wave. Great, thanks a lot, not happy but willing to be flexible and work with them for another date. Next date given was for 3 days later..... but it gets WORSE..... NO SHOW, and NO CALL!?!? We tried calling them mid day and evening to get a time frame for when they would be coming...... no answer, no call back from our two messages. Next day no call back either... I called one final time and left a voicemail stating my frustration. It was then and only then that I got a call back. I was told that "we don't call you if they can't show up" ????? and that "I should expect that they will just come the next day".....Really in what world does a business think they can operate that policy in? And mind you they never came. Final answer: Onto another pool company..... but to find one with an opening right now?? Thanks Aquatic Technologies for nothing but a headache and waste of our time. Take heed from our experience and check out the other poor reviews recently here on Yelp and Google..... this business and their practices are completely unprofessional and unacceptable. One skimmer basket doesn't work and the outlets don't have eyes to aim the water so the pool is constantly filthy. Shawn won't return my messages and when he does he tells me he's too busy to come and has to look at the schedule. I've been asking since April. I also don't know how to use the chlorinated or program the expensive filter he convinced me to get that keeps my pool completely filthy 24/7.
