You're only kidding your self. To my review, we have been long long time customers of Aqua Jet and we're devastated when they closed their highland office. We made the mistake of going to the the competition that took over the office in highland and we're MAJORLY disappointed. Long story short, they told me that too much chlorine is actually good for the algae to grow and that I need to drain half my pool and refill it. (My pool is 20x40 and 22,000 gallons.) I laughed and said that's not happening and went back to Aqua Jet up in Kingston. Back in the safe haven of aqua jet I had lots of questions, concerns and felt relieved to get answers I trust as well as poll water testing that is trust worthy. I also had 30 year old pool valves, a crappy old filter and a brand new heat pump. They recommended that best route to go to get everything back up and running efficiently and cost. I asked how soon they could do the work and initially she said they are booked till July, but quickly found a date for a week later and I grabbed it immediately and purchased all new pump filter and components. Today they came, 3 super nice, knowledgeable guys and they worked for a few hours repiping everything, installing heat pump and making it looks beautiful. I can't thank them enough and aqua jet and I will forever be a customer, even if it means driving to Kingston from New Paltz to get water testing and pool products. Thank you Aqua Jet.

Their Pool services are not worth it, and their customer service is even worse as I tried to call to resolve the issue and they responded terribly, my issues were never resolved, and I'm now left here with a green pool with no resolution.

I can't actually speak to the quality of service, as we never got that far, but will share my…read moreexperience. We moved up to Carmel this past spring - the previous owner of our house had tried for weeks to set up a cleaning, but couldn't get anyone to respond, so they purchased a gift certificate from Schech's for the cost of opening the pool and gave it to us when we closed on the house. My husband called several times and tried to get someone from Schech's service to commit to an appointment. After receiving no reply, he made a trip to the store in person. The salespeople said they would communicate with service, but we never received a reply. I finally sent an email to the website to see if anyone would reply, and received a response from Barbara Schech-Freer. I replied that we had a gift certificate and were extremely flexible on which date the opening would take place, only asking that they put us on the schedule as soon as possible. A week went by with no response, so I emailed a final time to ask for the cash value of the gift certificate, since we were forced to go elsewhere to have the pool opened. No reply to my second email was ever received. I understand that it's a very busy time of year for the business, but it shouldn't be this challenging to receive a simple reply. If they had told us they weren't able to take us on as a client, I would have understood and not written this review. To completely ignore us this way speaks volumes about the importance they place on customer service, and so I suppose it's just as well we signed a contract with Strongman Pool Service instead. Strongman's team is prompt, thorough, reliable, and reasonable. They send us an email with a photo of our pool after every service call, along with detailed notes about what was done and results for each water test. If you own a pool in Carmel, you have options other than Schech's. Based on my experience, I highly recommend you explore those other options.

I scheduled an appointment for someone to come out to give an estimate and they arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and pricing was about average (maybe a tad higher). I did feel there was a little bit of a push to purchase a new liner, but I'm sure that's how they make a lot of their money. Anyhow, I ended up repairing and cleaning the pool on my own. The liner is ripped, but I used a patch and called it a day (for now). A few weeks later, I received a follow up call to see if I'd be using them. Customer service was great! When I'm ready for a liner (likely within a couple years), I will call Kory's pools for an updated estimate and hope they're in the price range I'm looking for. ZERO complaints! It's very difficult finding service people who keep their appointments and are nice.

Kory Pools has a message that says you will get a faster response when you send a text. I sent a text asking about their price to close the pool, when they could do it and what will they do. Several days later I received a text stating how much they charge. Kory promised to send a list of what they do when closing a pool but never did. I sent a second text asking when could they come and close the pool. Kory replied on Tuesday October 6th. I waited all day and Kory Pools never showed up nor they call or text me that they weren't coming to close the pool. This is absolutely the worst pool service I've ever dealt with. I will find another pool service to close my pool. I highly recommend that you do not use this pool company.
