To date, he hasn't missed a scheduled service and shows up every week at the same time. 3. Communication. He communicates everything thoroughly from the initial call. 4. Detailed. He puts the work in when he services your pool. He vacuums my pool even though I already have a vacuum. Those little details. Overall, he's just a nice guy and my pool is sparkling. It was a major construction project with lots of complications. Jules at Royal Pools shepherded the project along, and she had my back every step of the way. Whether it was logistics or aesthetics decisions, she was there when we needed her. I felt she cared as much as I did about getting the job done and done well. They were the highest price but came highly recommended by neighbors and I didn't want to cut corners and take a chance. At their request, I made the mistake of paying them when the job was "almost done." In the time it took me to run to the store and come back, they packed up and left without finishing the job. Like other reviews have said, their attitude went from great to downright hostile the minute they had their money. I spent $25,000 to have this pool refurbished, and they left me with a pool that is unfinished, leaking, unable to properly circulate, and with no chemicals in it. It is now starting to turn back into the same swamp I paid them to fix. Now I have to take more time off work and fly back to NY to find a company to finish the job. If they'll do this to a 75 year old widow, I doubt they'll care about taking your money.

I hired these people to install a new liner in my in round 20x44 pool. It was very expensive (more…read morethan their average competition in the area) but having used them before for the same job 12 years ago they did a great job so i bit the bullet and hired them again. First there were material delays, then substitute materials were used then they installed in late Fall only to have to uninstall and wait 2 weeks more as the first liner was defective. I should have seen the warning right then as a bad omen. Two weeks later they installed the liner I have now, we balanced the water and closed up for the season. We opened without a problem in late spring. Everything looked fine or so we thought until a closer look a day or so after opening and taking the first swim. We noticed the liner pulled free form the coping in several places and not securely tucked in other places. Called and they sent a team to re-stretch the liner and jam some plastic shims between the liner bead and the coping to keep it in place. Not happy with that it seemed to be fine and I was assured this is what those plastic shims are for and we were only lucky to never have had to use them before. All good now - or so we thought. A few weeks later it was time for the first nite time use. We are now into July. Once we turned on the in pool light we saw numerous wrinkles in the liner. These are on the wall in the deep end that slopes down into the dive envelope. Upon contacting them with pictures they did send someone to look but unfortunately due to the liner patters you can not see them by day. Long story short its now months later (august) and they finally contacted me today with an answer full of excuses ranging form high ground water table causing water pockets in the corners under the liner to a host of other possibilities. . Well that must have come from some page in their excuses book because the last time I checked water runs downhill thanks to gravity. My wrinkles are mid wall in a vertical wall sloped downgrade to the deep dive pocket and NOT in any corners. They further explained the integrity of the pool is fine and while they can not explain it its not their fault but they will be glad to fix because they do not want me unhappy. All I have to do is agree to pay for new water and all labor and materials for whatever time it takes to uninstall and reinstall the liner . Oh how generous of them you might think at a glance. WRONG! Anyone who knows a tid-bit about liners knows you can not drain it and re stretch it especially when stairs and a pool side light are cut into it. so toss in insult upon injury as they treat you like an idiot. Oh and also if it leaks or fails in anyway its not warrantied and on me to cough up the repair cost for new vinyl. Still think its a generous offer? Its really nothing more than the flip of a double bird over a nothing sandwich. They are doing nothing for nothing and I have to assume all the risks and costs. Now working mechanically myself for years I'm no fool. M y pool is 27,000 gallons of water over a mason bottom and galvanized frame and concrete footings. It is set in bank run soil with excellent draining strategically placed where perk test prior to install proved no water table issues and proved excellent downward drainage. The pool is up grade of a flood plain, drainage canal and retention pond to handle any ground water should any become a high level. All of these have been bone dry all year. Its not a high water table issue. It is however clearly a shotty installation where the air was not adequately vacated during the install and compounded by insufficient stretching at installation thus causing the spring need to come back in the first place. in short they basically told me they wont fix it unless I pay for it and if the fix fails a new liner would be required at my expense. They use to provide quality service and like others have stated at premium prices . Now while the premium prices remains true the quality has went poopy on the bed sheets! Defiantly not worth calling them at any price now days. Their quality care has vanished and while thy are nice to talk to they are politely very clear as to they just don't care because once the bill is paid you own it. Bottom line - My advice - when it comes to Rainbow if your in the market for anything pool do your best Forest Gump imitation and RUN FOREST RUN!! Avoid them like the black plague. Quality customer care and workmanship has set sail as I believe so has the original owners I hear. This rainbow is clearly after YOUR pot of gold at any cost and cares not about quality.

It's a big investment and we were looking for the right company to do the job. We met Shiela who gave us pricing after seeing our pool. We picked out a liner, signed a contract around June 17th and were told our pool would be measured shortly after for a liner and the work would be done the week of July 18th. We also left a deposit, which was half of the total cost. We were notified that someone had come to measure the pool but couldn't because there was water collecting from the rain and we needed to pump it out. We weren't advised of this ahead of time but pumped it out and were told it would be measured on another day. The day came and went with a No show. We were pretty lenient and allowed for the measurement at anytime. We reached out because we hadn't heard anything and were given an excuse. We were given another date and yet again, a No show. This went on for quite some time and we kept pumping out water but it also kept recollecting because no one would show up. We also had to constantly reach out as no one reached out to us. Finally, a week before the scheduled repair date, the measurements were done, despite the water that collected. So this could have been done from the beginning as the condition of the pool is worsening because of the delays. We hear nothing until the week of our repairs. Shiela decides to advise us that we also need a new floor that will cost an additional 3k, which was probably worsened by water sitting there waiting for this work to be done. Once finding this out, the week of repairs, where a contract was signed, we asked for pricing for the floor along with making the pool less deep. We requested this pricing because it was something we were planning to do in the future but didn't think it would make sense to redo the liner and floor again shortly down the road. We might as well tackle it all now. Shiela was totally not interested and could care less. Told us to have our money back and was completely fine with us finding someone else to do the pool, just didn't care or couldn't be bothered with us. She wasted our time and breached a contract. Who knows how long we'll have to wait and what the condition of our pool will be. I'm absolutely disappointed with this company and wouldn't recommend them at all. I regret wasting my time. Was told by another pool guy that I had a leak in the line from the filter and that I should call…read moresomeone to locate the leak. Once it was located, he could come back and fix it (quote $4 - 5K to repair). Called PV Pros to come out to look for the leak. The service tech, Justin, told me there was NO LEAK and that the filter just needed to have the air released, which he did. Filter operates fine. After the 7/4 storms, the pool water turned green. Not inviting to swim in. After trying a few remedies that didn't work, I called the store and Tim suggested I bring in a H2O sample to figure out what the problem could be. After he did the test, he told me it was metals in the water and gave me the correct additives and explained how to fix the problem. Following those instructions now. Tim also said that he will do another H2O test next week to make sure everything returns to normal. I don't know whether PV Pros rate is/was competitive but when you have a positive experience with a company, sometimes any extra cost is well worth it! I will now have PV Pros do all the servicing on my pool.

A quick Yelp search and Request-a-Quote later and I found Precise Vision Pros who quickly responded with what I felt was a reasonable quote for summer services. I really love this company. I've had some issues with other folks that have serviced our property in the past (we rent out our home and do not live close by) but this summer has been a breeze with Precise Vision Pros. They are always prompt to respond to my emails and are so courteous when it comes to processing payments. While they do ask that you pay half up front, I had arranged services well in advance of the summer and they kindly allowed me to pay that deposit in early May rather than February. Beyond the amazing Sara with whom I've been in regular contact about services each week, I must note the quality of services overall. Each time we've visited, I'm happy with the water quality and vacuuming. They are always on top of any incoming weather that might affect the pool and arrange visits accordingly. I also love that they provided complimentary critter life savers (floats that save lives of unsuspecting frogs and small animals that might have fallen into the pool). Sadly, I'm moving after this season, and I'll really miss working with this company. They really were lifesavers for us this summer!

John and his Pisa Construction crew delivered a high quality backyard project consisting of a…read moreLatham fiberglass pool, pavers patio, stone retaining wall and new drainage. This yard was an impossible project; it was difficult to get to and was on a hill loaded with bedrock and boulders. Pisa pulled off a miracle to get it done and it was completed on budget, with professionalism and communication throughout. The hammered out bedrock pieces were used to build the stone retaining wall in a true skilled masonry work of art that was fun to watch. When any difficulty arose such as delays and material delivery issues, John went above and beyond to make things right. Latham had a pool delivery issue that set the project back a few weeks and John got them to issue a hefty refund which was then used to build a free custom firepit and further expand the pavers patio. Toward the end, John saw a need for additional drainage that was not in the original contract and took care of doing it without charging us extra just because it was the right thing to do and the right way to deliver a finished product. When a shared side yard got heavily driven on with excavators, John inspected and repaired our sprinklers, our neighbors sprinklers, put down top soil and sod and provided free power washing to three houses. If you are a reasonable customer, John is a reasonable businessman. He always worked with us to make things right. We are thrilled with the finished product!
