This place must not have had a proper gift certificate, because I just had a "pint card" (4 beers value - $34) and the balance was rung up as 2 X 473mL lagers, for about $50. I explained to the server that I was sure this was meant to represent a $50 gift card and she said it was just a pint card and my boss must have drank the two tall boys there (while touring around Guelph to get gift cards at 2pm). Anyway, I finally took the 4 cans, which were $34 plus tax, although for $30, you could get 6 cans. I'm probably going on too long about this, but I feel like I was ripped off and this is my only way to deal with it, emotionally. The ladies restroom at 10 p.m was filthy. Thankfully it didn't smell bad. But still is unsanitary and looks bad for a restaurant critic who may be doing a review of the restaurant. The stage is decent and at the front of the restraint and so it's in an excellent spot. The lights on stage was not overwhelming too and so it made for a good show to watch. The bar area is quite big and so it was good for business. Sears about 12 people minimum with space to spare.
