Our dining experience Friday night was a comedy of errors that included poor management, an overwhelmed brand new employee and inaccurate food orders. We made reservations a day or two in advance for a party of 20, to ensure the restaurant would know we were coming. We sat at 6:45 and ordered our first round of drinks easily enough, but things went off the rails from there. Multiple orders came late and/or inaccurate. My own, for example was a simple burger. I never received the first attempt at filling my order until the rest of my table already had empty plates. By the third attempt at delivery my burger (seriously, cheese, lettuce and tomato...that's all I wanted), I finally just ate the last one. One of the kids in the group was asked multiple times what she ordered (just poutine) before hers finally showed up. No one, at any point, attempted to clear the empty plates that sat for over an hour. When it came time for the bills, our waitress was no where to be found. Another waitress stepped in to help (she was amazing and deserves better). One person in our party raised this issue with the manager/owner who proceeded to just blame his waitresses while he completely avoided any accountability. After the displeasure was raised to him, he did nothing to help his staff. Rather, he cowered in the doorway to the kitchen while his overworked/under appreciated staff worked to try and rectify this situation. I believe the waitress that stepped in to help out was named Michaela. She was fantastic and should she look for a better restaurant to work at, should be hired on site. We have made an annual group trip to the area and now dined at this restaurant twice. There will not be a third time. We will take our business down the sidewalk to Dave & Busters. read more

I was looking to try as much poutine as I could and this place was near my hotel and had good reviews that mentioned it. -I went there solo in the afternoon on a weekday. I think it was totally empty other than me. Def seems like more of a nightlife place with the huge bar and big TVs. -The poutine was good, but not super exciting. They use these extra crispy, thick-cut, seasoned fries which were terrific on their own, but almost seemed too decadent for the addition of cheese and gravy. -Service was great. read more

We stopped by for lunch on the way back from Toronto. During the last trip to Montreal I kept seeing this brewery pop up on the map but didn't get a chance to go there. The brewery itself is pretty large and there is ample seating. There is a large parking lot that they share with Dave & Busters which probably gets pretty full at night. That being said, I had no problem finding a spot during my visit. There is a pretty decent selection of food on the menu and the food was good. The real reason that this wasn't rated higher was the beer. I tried two different beers there and wasn't impressed by either. It could be that I chose two beers that weren't representative of the rest. I may try to give them another try the next time I am in town. read more

I was in town taking my nephew to a concert at History in downtown Toronto. As I had a need to get back to Rochester for my flight the next day at noon, we were staying near here for ease of getting back on the road. We are Bills fans and I picked this place over the rest of the options here because the parking lot showed many cars here but they're in the back near Dave and Buster's...so not sure who had more customers. First, I ordered a Bloody Mary, and the bartender came to check on specifics like did I want a Bloody Ceasar, garnish, etc. A nice touch and classy. My brother tried two of the local brews and chose mango (I don't drink beer but it looked good and he finished it lol) As an appetizer, we ordered the pulled pork nachos poutine, upgrading to the beer battered fries. Usually I'm a traditionalist but our server (shame on me for not remembering his name but I'm hopefully gonna find the receipt and edit it in EDIT: my brother thinks his name was Stef, short for Stefon...I'm still not sure.) told us this is the direction most folks go in. This poutine was one of two specialty offerings. I wanted the French onion soup poutine but my brother likes bbq so we went this way. Good thing- it was the last one available so that tells me it's popular! So tasty. My nephew doesn't eat much but even he was cramming this down. Gravy made the curds gooier, and the bbq was sweet but in a complimentary way. We destroyed this in short order. My nephew ordered the sausage with sweet potato fries, my brother went with the sauerkraut entree (comes with sausages, pork, and pickled onions), I went with the smoked bacon Mac n cheese (this was clearly a cheat day lol). I'll show you the photos. You'll agree this looks good but I'll confirm that there was nothing we disliked. Execution- perfect. Portions- just right for the price. (You'll pay more but you're supporting local businesses) I will admit in my never ending journey to get healthier, this was a poor choice but I ended up not eating dinner since we went to a concert and this helped me get through the night! It's located between other restaurants, a movie theatre and Dave & Buster. So indeed, one can hop over and enjoy their patio area or indoor dining. First thing, the washroom is super dark for this type of restaurant. Not sure why. On Sundays, they have flammekueches (very thin pizza/flatbreads), for $13.50 - any choice. It's a great reason to try this dish. My partner had the carnivore one and it looked good, especially the large pepperoni size. I got the grilled veggies with goat cheese and I loved it!! They gave me a lot of toppings which I love and appreciate. So indeed I was a happy Squirrel after that meal. Overall, a great place to chill with friends. You get to pick which beer you want it filled with from their list of house beers. We chose the Christmas Amber. Yum! I was chilling with friends who didn't know what saurekrat and coleslaw was so it was funny to explain and even do dish swaps (fyi I'm a major fan of Reubens so gimme me). I originally went with the french onion soup in like a pizza bowl, someone else ordered the same. I was following Kristian U. Review and matched his choice but I really felt underwhelmed it was just a corn starch thickener with a premade dough from supplier. Tasted okay but not mind blown. Maybe I need to be boozed up to be warmed up to it. I did like how the location had a nice deal of offering their own non alcoholic beer for the designated driver. Washrooms are unisex and large size. It was clean with premium paper towel, the micro texture type. But I didnt see anyone attend the washroom after I used it at noon so I hope it receives regular service cleaning during the evening hours. I was very excited when I found this place, I love a good brew house, but it didn't live up to my excitement. I debated between one or two stars because the beer was good, service ok, but the rest was so disappointing that I felt one star fit my disappointment better. Cons: Beer was cool but not cold. - Ordered the small order of nachos with chicken; they were stuck under heat and toasted the tops of the chip (that's good) however, the cheese didn't have time to melt so it was cold and coagulated and the chicken wasn't hot. You look at the pic and it looks great but you can see the cheese isn't melting so now gooeyness and the menu said topped with cheese sauce & green onion but there was none of either. I also ordered a side of jalapeños & it was small but charged me an extra $1.50, I think that's the most I've ever paid for a side of Jalapeños. To add to the screwing you on the price chicken is $6.00 extra whether you order the large or the small, believe me there wasn't even close to $6 worth of chicken on these nachos (see attached pictures to confirm) the nachos were Only $10.95 to start. I should have taken an after picture to show you it's mostly chips in the end. - ordered the tortuous sausage for my main course and was drenched in oil (see pic), as usual the sausage in the pic looked delicious but what I received didn't match up. In the pic it's thick and golden brown, I received thin and grey sausage that lacked flavor, very disappointing, onions were oily. COVID review: On a Saturday night, I was worried this place would be packed so we got here at 5:30pm. Patio was open but we opted for indoor seating as it was a bit chilly outside. There were ample tables, all more than 6ft apart. It was my first time eating here but I am familiar with The 3 Brewers / Les 3 Brasseurs chain. Today, was by far, my best experience, single handedly because of our waiter Dave. We ordered a Lilloise flammekueche, Steak and Frite, and for dessert, the Polar Churros! As for beer, my boyfriend said, "Surprise me" to our waiter after we gave him some baseline of what he liked. Dave brought him an IPA mix which pretty much made my boyfriend's eyes roll backwards. He loved it so much he kept praising it all dinner long. Dave took the time to chat with us to explain the flavours and brewing efforts that go into each beer they have to offer. We even got beer samples at the end of the meal! Back to the food. The Steak and Frites was nothing amazing but still good. The star of that dish is the maple bacon butter. Gave us an idea to make it at home! The Lilloise flammekueche (I looked it up, it means Flame cake / flat bread) was flavourful and light. We were full by the time we downed our entrees and forgot we had churros to come for dessert! The silver lining is though it's a plateful of dessert, it was so light and airy, didn't feel filling at all! The Polar Churros is is two churros donuts topped with vanilla ice cream, caramel syrup and fresh fruits. A great end of meal treat! We were again impressed with the knowledge Dave had to share and his customer service. Most of all, this place was spacious, guests were spread apart and we got to witness their table cleaning process which is washing it with their regular routine and ending it with spray Lysol all over the table and chairs. Les Trois Brasseurs! Vive la Biere! I've been to the Mecca of partying - no...not Las Vegas. Montreal! And I was very happy to see the 3 Brewers come west from La Belle Province to Ontari-o-rio-riO! Sure we have a lot of craft brewers. We have cool trendy bars. We have all the "Little Black Dress Mafia" joints but here, they sell you great beers and good food without the gimmick of having tightly cladded young'ums throwing around the big'uns (flash back to which sitcom peeps????). I like going to the various locations. If a 3B is nearby, I'd rather hang there then most other places. The place is simple in all 3B locations. You got the large tanks brewing their award winning brews encased in glass somewhere. A large bar area and scatters of tables for those who want to have a bit more privacy. The obligatory TV's are around but most customers are engrossed in converation and enjoying themselves. Pick up the La Gazette - the famous newspaper that they pilfered to rep their menu. FYI - I like their food here. Simple, comfortable foods that are elevated a touch. Even their Flammekeuches - basically their thin crust pizza is simple and tasty. Just enough toppings to make it easy to handle without getting too soggy and messy. Being french, they also make no apologies for the Too-Loose Sausage - I think I may have spelled that wrong. :D The place is usually busy - but not packed on weeknights. It was an interesting evening. I spent the night with a Blond, a Red, and maybe a Brown. Throw in an Asian and we have the United Nations. I'm talking beers...not sure what you were thinking. The beer batter is also made in house. Fish and chips is usually my go-to meal when I visit this restaurant. The fish is cooked perfectly. I think they mistook it for pancakes cuz it was dripping in syrup after a couple bites and I'm sure you can imagine what that tastes like on a burger: disgusting. This place was great. The restaurant itself was clean and not busy at all for a nice weekday lunch. I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken and was very satisfied with my order, as was everyone else at the table with their meals (which included the Summer Breeze salad and the Cassoulet). It is a huge location and in the entertainment complex, so it's a good choice to go have a pint or a bite. This place has been around for quite sometime and has been adjusting their menu constantly. The food does not disappoint and the options are always interesting. The kitchen is relatively flexible and willing to adjust the menu for certain requests. After my latest visit, I have to say, I have a new favorite dish here, it's the chicken and waffles... with the deep fried avocados. They did a really good job with it and even if the Belgian Waffles are a little sweeter than what I'm used to, it combined very well with the fried chicken. Every so often they'll change their seasonal beer and I feel obligated to try it out ;) I haven't been disappointed by any of their options. I'm not usually a fan of stouts, but the vanilla stout here is very good. If you come here with a group of people, and everyone wants the same beer, the pitchers are a good deal, However, if you come here and everyone wants a different beer, they don't punish you for it like most places and make you pay for individual glasses. You have the option here to buy the metre of beer, and they even throw in a flamme too. The prices are reasonable and it's a good place to grab a bite or a pint before or after going to one of the nearby activities. The decor is nice and spacious, the ceilings are high and the chairs are comfortable. I definitely recommend this place and will continue to be a regular patron at this establishment. read more

Great spot to hang out with a group of friends. Came here with a fairly large group (12), but our server was fantastic and very accommodating. The tritons are the best value for beer, so we ordered 3 of the 3 L ones. The container is pretty nifty as it allows you to pour your own beers, but its size sits right at eye level, making it difficult to carry on a conversation at the table. The food is alright. Have lots of shareable options, which is great when you're with a group. The best part is that they're able to process fairly complex bills when you're deciding how you want to split up each of the items among everyone in your party. I thought the layout and decor of the restaurant/bar was nice and the newspaper menu was pretty cool. Our server was attentive and we didn't have to wait long for my order (my friend didn't order anything so I was eating alone). However, apparently my friend didn't seem to like the vibe our server was giving off. I decided to get the peppy. It's basically a pizza but on a very thin flat bread. The first few slices were good but then I noticed how greasy it was. My stomach felt queasy after finishing the peppy but it went away after. I didn't try out their beers because I don't drink beer so I can't comment on how their beers are. Overall, I wouldn't mind coming back here and trying something else. read more

Oakville recently got a new restaurant called The 3 Brewers in the Winston Park plaza. It's a great location because the theater is there so it's perfect for date night! There doesn't seem to be a lot of seating inside the restaurant because all the tables are very spaced out. A good thing about this is that you won't have to worry about invading anyone's personal space! They also have a bar area with a flat screen so it'll definitely accommodate anyone who wants to have a drink and watch a game with their friends. I was craving a poutine that day so I ordered the smoked meat poutine! There was just enough gravy and cheese curds to mix with the fries! The only issue that I found with this dish was the fact that the seasoning from the gravy in addition to the cheese curds and smoked meat made the dish a bit too salty for my liking. The classic 3B Burger with cheddar cheese, bacon, tomato, lettuce and onion. It was a clean presentation of the food. The burger was very juicy and easy to eat! They don't serve pizza here but if you are craving something along those lines, go ahead and try a flammekeuche! It's a flat bread that was developed in the Alsatian region of France. Just looking at it is making me hungry! My friend ordered the Campagnarde open faced sandwhich. It's perfect for people who think a full sandwich is too bread and carbs, why not cut the amount of bread in half and still enjoy the same meal! If you're looking for comfort food, you can order the fish and chips! You can even substitute you fries for a poutine :) It's the best of both worlds! The fish was over fried a bit so it looks a bit dark. Texan burger is perfect for those who want to add a little kick to their meal with mild jalapeno cheddar cheese, mushrooms, crispy onions and barbeque sauce! Overall, the restaurant was good - the portions were perfect, which is hard to find because restaurants usually give more than you can eat and food ends up getting wasted or extra unwanted calories are consumed. The 3 Brewers meals will definitely keep you full without going overboard! The server was very attentive and when he noticed our drinks were getting low he brought us refills without asking! The only thing that could have been better was their seating. The patio space is not very big so it'll definitely be hard getting a seat outside on weekends or when the weather is even nicer out! Another issue that restaurant patrons will quickly realize is the overall cluttered nature of the menu. Second time at the 3 brewers tonight and we came for a surprise birthday. I had a good experience last time, but today was even better despite it being a busier night. We had great service, awesome food, and very courteous waitresses! I can't remember what everyone got but we mostly got burgers, flatbreads, and wings. The birthday boy and a friend shared the board of beer (sorry I don't remember the exact name lol). I had the Texan burger which was delicious and I tried one of the popcorn shrimp which was even more delicious. Seriously, if you're going to watch a game here, grab a few drinks and these fried shrimp and you're set! Two friends tried out their new Poutine Burger and said it was mediocre and less than what they expected. Their vegetarian pizza was said to be good, as well! For dessert, our waitress brought out a piece of New York style cheesecake for the birthday boy and we all had a piece. I'm not a huge fan of cheesecake and this one was very rich so it wasn't really my cup of tea but if you like cheesecake, you'd love it :) Overall, awesome experience. Recommend. read more

Quiet place on a Sunday lunch outing. They have a great variety on the menu to please even the pickiest eater. We ordered the beer soaked shrimp and beet salad, popcorn shrimp, and small house salad. No complaints on the food and the service was prompt and friendly. read more
