After a year or two, the couches have held up well enough until just 2 weeks ago my wife sat down on it and heard a sound and it has been sinking in that area ever since. We had paid a few hundred dollars for a five-year-warranty plan to cover things like this and filed the claim they asked for. The people in the store explained how there shouldn't be any issues with the warranty helping us out. Jasmine was very helpful. However, after waiting two weeks for the technician to come look at it, he confirmed that the wood frame has broken and the springs stretched out. He said it shouldn't be a problem to either fix or replace it and that they will get back to us. After a couple days, they messaged me saying that it is not covered by my warranty plan due to it being a "loss of resiliency". It also says in the same claim that they deemed it to be due to a manufacturing defect. I emailed back and disputed the claim, but they just respond simply saying that it is not covered by my warranty plan. I even told the store that I am willing to take some sort of store credit and spend $4k - $5k more on a newer, better quality sofa set, but they do not want to seem to help me resolve this at all.
