Poor quality for a $1700 credenza

5 stars for the home design service provided by Morgan, 0 stars for pretty much everything that has transpired since then. I was so pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to get a virtual appointment with a staff member at CB2 and discuss my home design needs. I didn't have very specific ideas for what I wanted, and Morgan did a great job of creating a 3D rendering of my space and thoughtfully finding beautiful pieces for me. I made a trip to the store where I was able to make some minor tweaks to our plan and see the pieces in person. Fast forward to 2 months later, I still haven't received all my pieces and one of the pieces I did receive is defective and will have to be replaced. Their warehouse requires you to have an entire day open for them (7am to 6pm)! As a full time working woman there are zero days that I am at home doing nothing from 7am to 6pm. As a result, I have not been able to find a day for my last pieces to be delivered and likely will not be able to have them delivered for several more weeks. On top of that, every time I call to try to find a resolution, I have to rehash the whole story with each new employee and they are oftentimes confused and unsure how to help. I would have hoped they would be more willing to work with their customers, many of whom are spending thousands of dollars in addition to a $149 delivery fee, but I'm not surprised that they are not. It seems like their target clientele are people who work remotely or have people at home at all times to cater to the whims of the delivery staff, and I wish I knew that before spending (a lot) of money here.

We absolutely love this store and visit here often for our kitchen/living room furnishing needs. Also, absolutely love the location of this store - no trouble with public parking(free), hangout before or after shopping. Oh! and did I forget to mention that the service is amazing as well. Pickups are so easy and quick - they get stuff from the backdoor all ready for you. Returns/exchanges have never been an issue. They are all super nice! We have bought planters, loads of things for our kitchen and what not. We hope they have more varieties in their furniture/bedroom section.

Prices are a bit on the higher end, but they do have some hidden gems that can be affordable! They do have sales and discounts too. Some price tags can definitely be justified by their quality and more unique furniture pieces. The showroom is very clean and polished. A lot of the staged areas are minimal and monochrome, which is right up my alley! Lots of natural lighting by the outdoor furniture too, which I thought was nice to see how the furniture will actually look in the sun.

CB2 at Santana Row is a great place to shop and to be inspired for your home designing needs. Sales associates were welcoming and very attentive to all the customers in the store...and there were alot. The spacious store has soooo many set ups and merchandise that one can't leave without being inspired with new ideas. The pieces sold here are definitely a higher end and it's obvious when you see up close and even feel the quality. This shop is centrally located in Santana Row, so there are many things to do and to see in addition to checking out this fabulous store!

New bedding, lamps and green hurricane!

I went to the store to purchase two lamps and the staff were so nice and helpful I ended up walking out with a bunch more than I anticipated! The associate I worked with was hilarious and I couldn't stop laughing throughout the entire buying process. My bed looks like it's from a catalog now and my new lamps are STUNNING. All I'm waiting for now is the bed frame and nightstands! Can't waiiit Also, the frames came from CB2 as well, I framed the hotels I stayed in on my first trip to Europe, OBSESSED some would say

FSC means the wood came from responsibly managed forests instead of clear cut ones.

Went here a few times prior to this Christmas season. Found some nice gifts (felt overpriced but I…read morewas in a pinch for time) and love that everything is supposedly local artisan-level products. My issue has been the attitude of the one specific person who was working each time I went. Pushy as heck every time, following me around and talking at my back as I look at products- if I wasn't in need of gifts I would've walked out immediately. I don't need to be hounded as I shop. Couldn't answer simple questions based on what she tried to explain to me: Me looking at a resin platter. Salesgirl: it's so pretty isn't it? Me: it is but it is uneven when laid flat and the handles are different on each side. Her: Oh it can be "warmed up and flattened so it isn't uneven" if u "leave it in the car" Me: umm huh? Her as she quickly walks away: yeah or heat it up in the oven and like press down on it on the countertop. Me: Ok so what temp can it be safely heated to? Her from behind the cash wrap: just heat it idk. So do you want it or not? Me: no thanks for that price ($200) I would want to know what "heated" means. Sounds like it isn't very possible to make it lay flat without knowing the specifics. Her: well then don't buy it. Me: yeah i definitely won't. I expected a nice reply like "Oh let me check with the Maker and get back to you" or "sorry I don't exactly know what i'm saying but our return policy is.. and here is how to contact the Maker." Still bought about $300+ of products on that visit but wrote this review in my head before leaving as she shot me eye daggers as she rang us up. Won't be in again if she is working. Or maybe ever...made it all very suspect.

This particular weekend I wanted to get something for my niece who is graduating high school as well as turning 18!! I found a really cute, simple necklace that was pretty yet unique along with some really nice earrings! Not exactly a matching set, but I bought them to not match. My niece loved them!! Easy $60 present and it was unique the lady behind the counter, even wrapped it in a cute little mesh bag. I had tissue paper at home so I added that to the little rustic brown bag to have a pop-up color and overall I will definitely be back!!

I came in tonight to check out sectionals in person…read more After seeking a sectional to replace our family couch (which, is breaking down after three years! what a bummer), we decided to test out couches in person. Our last couch was purchased online and we followed reviews who had solid feedback, but no long term feedback. The couch was awesome upon first opening and using, but as the years went by the springs and cushions couldn't hold up as well. The couch has lost its shape and feels uncomfortable. This background story prompted me to seek West Elm for a better option. I know West Elm provides quality and durability. The last couch we had was a nameless brand and that red flag had me investing time in researching our next couch. West Elm's contract grade third party approval is something that I've admired and appreciate. Knowing that something can withstand high impact and volume is important especially when you have a busy life or entertain guests often. This was important to us. I've found and loved multiples of their couches online, but sitting in them in person made the biggest difference. I learned which couch was better for us (Dalton 2 piece) and the color that would fit with our room. We were helped by an associate who approached us and helped guide us in the process of choosing a fabric and material. I didn't catch his name, nor was he wearing a name tag, but he provided us swatches to feel and see before determining the final order. Him bringing out the swatches had a huge influence on our choices. He showed us a material that would withstand scratches (we have cats), and would also age well with future use down the line. Having a piece that would grow and adapt with our lifestyle meant a lot to us and the process in finding the next best couch. What I had appreciated was how attentive he was and how he helped us choose everything in store and printed out the order in case we were interested in pursuing it further. Ultimately, we ended up leaving with the order number and the specs for the couch. We decided once we had come home that that was the couch for us and we will be following up to place an order. It was a game changer trying out the couches in person since there were many lovely pieces and I would have otherwise overlooked the couch we ended up loving online. In the end, envisioning our home setting and layout was made a lot easier in store. I appreciated the stellar customer service, along with getting a quote for the sectional we're going to purchase. There is so much to see and appreciate in store, we will definitely return to purchase other delightful pieces in the future.

They were closed (2pm). so now, parts are all over the room with no resolution. i called the store, and they were clueless. They were actually quite rude regarding my situation. I spoke with a woman on a sunday afternoon-and she was annoyed that I was calling. The delivery guys were nice (not the fault of them) and they even mentioned this is the 3rd delivery with missing parts that they were provided. Horrible service!
