what a mess. Furniture is lovely and sales people are helpful in store, but delivery process is an absolute mess. we paid for white glove service (extra delivery fee), and it came extremely late, and parts were missing so they couldn't even build it! i contacted customer service and the delivery team. They were closed (2pm). so now, parts are all over the room with no resolution. i called the store, and they were clueless. They were actually quite rude regarding my situation. I spoke with a woman on a sunday afternoon-and she was annoyed that I was calling. The delivery guys were nice (not the fault of them) and they even mentioned this is the 3rd delivery with missing parts that they were provided. Horrible service! read more

Wohoo finally open, just opened today! The old, outdated Dress Barn has been replaced by a styling West Elm. Lots of mid century furniture. The store is very spacious, with a chic--aesthetically pleasing modern decor--yet it also has a homey vibe. We were greeted right when we walked in. The sales clerk informed me that this is considered a "showroom" therefore, I shouldn't expect to buy furniture pieces off the floor (he seemed a bit miffed that I even asked lol.) They have plenty of selection whether it's for the bar area (I got some wine glasses on sale), to dining, bedroom, office, and kitchen furniture and other home decor and household items. read more

I was patiently waiting to ask for help while Lisa (a woman with a short blond bob haircut) was assisting another customer. After she finished, I politely said, "Excuse me," and she let out a big sigh and rolled her eyes at me. I asked for a swatch for a chair, and she replied with a rude tone, "The table?" When I clarified, she grabbed a swatch, flicked it at my hand, and walked away without another word. Thankfully, I found Mary, who was incredibly kind and helpful. She took the time to show us the different materials and really made the experience much better. I'll be reporting Lisa to corporate. What an awesome experience with Laura Saunders. I went in to West Elm to take a look for a new couch. Laura was so informative and walked us through all the different levels and material options. She then narrowed down the size and drew out a floor plan to better visualize the space. She even helped with a circular table and rug for the couch in the "virtual world" of furniture that drew a big picture of the reality to set in soon. This was a relieving experience for me as moving into a first home is stressful enough. Kudos out to West Elm for having Laura! read more

Definitely to avoid. I ordered a bench since May 2025. It is now September 2025 and every couple weeks they send an update that is delayed. Right now is estimated to ship at the end of January 2026. I can't get a clear answer on refund and they still working on the it despite the fact that the items not coming. read more

This store is new in Campbell and a wonderful add! It's in a central location and easy to get to. The store is beautifully lit and arranged very aesthetically. They have set ups for bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms and even for outdoors! Their furniture is very modern and chic. The staff was super helpful and friendly. This review is in regards to online ordering, not a particular West Elm physical store. Absolutely horrendous customer service. West Elm's marketing team needs to rename some of the fabrics. I choose the Performance Distressed Velvet in Dark Olive, and ordered the Performance Velvet in Dark Olive by mistake (the names are so close, it was easy to miss this). Once the wrong item was delivered, I immediately realized that it wasn't the fabric I had chosen and contacted West Elm several times. They could absolutely care less. I've worked with other brands (higher end) that would NEVER have treated me so poorly. They basically told me that I would "learn to love it." The fabric on the sofa they delivered shows every fingerprint, handprint, mark, etc. - the reason we DIDN'T choose the fabric on the sofa that was delivered. HORRENDOUS. I see now why they are typically rated 1-star. BEWARE. read more

I came in tonight to check out sectionals in person. After seeking a sectional to replace our family couch (which, is breaking down after three years! what a bummer), we decided to test out couches in person. Our last couch was purchased online and we followed reviews who had solid feedback, but no long term feedback. The couch was awesome upon first opening and using, but as the years went by the springs and cushions couldn't hold up as well. The couch has lost its shape and feels uncomfortable. This background story prompted me to seek West Elm for a better option. I know West Elm provides quality and durability. The last couch we had was a nameless brand and that red flag had me investing time in researching our next couch. West Elm's contract grade third party approval is something that I've admired and appreciate. Knowing that something can withstand high impact and volume is important especially when you have a busy life or entertain guests often. This was important to us. I've found and loved multiples of their couches online, but sitting in them in person made the biggest difference. I learned which couch was better for us (Dalton 2 piece) and the color that would fit with our room. We were helped by an associate who approached us and helped guide us in the process of choosing a fabric and material. I didn't catch his name, nor was he wearing a name tag, but he provided us swatches to feel and see before determining the final order. Him bringing out the swatches had a huge influence on our choices. He showed us a material that would withstand scratches (we have cats), and would also age well with future use down the line. Having a piece that would grow and adapt with our lifestyle meant a lot to us and the process in finding the next best couch. What I had appreciated was how attentive he was and how he helped us choose everything in store and printed out the order in case we were interested in pursuing it further. Ultimately, we ended up leaving with the order number and the specs for the couch. We decided once we had come home that that was the couch for us and we will be following up to place an order. It was a game changer trying out the couches in person since there were many lovely pieces and I would have otherwise overlooked the couch we ended up loving online. In the end, envisioning our home setting and layout was made a lot easier in store. I appreciated the stellar customer service, along with getting a quote for the sectional we're going to purchase. There is so much to see and appreciate in store, we will definitely return to purchase other delightful pieces in the future. read more

Amazing experience from visiting this location a few weeks ago thanks to Kenneth! I came in looking for a serve-ware set that I had seen online but did not have the color I wanted available to order. Initially, I was too intimated to ask for help but having Kenneth greet us with a welcoming smile I decided to ask about the items I was looking for. Kenneth knew immediately where the items I was looking for were and was quick to offer to check the back to make sure I had the whole collection I was looking for! I was very thrilled about it and he was very understanding and accommodating to my excitement as well. He even brought out other plate sizes and gave me suggestion on other items I was buying. I don't recommend ordering anything from this store. When I placed my order in store, the manager told me she would be the liaison between customer support if we had any issues with our order. Well we did and the store was not helpful in assisting with our shipping issues in the least. My rug order is currently a month past estimated delivery date and every week the delivery date is pushed back with no explanation. I've emailed and called the store multiple times and they've not been helpful at all. read more

When you go to a furniture store, you definitely don't expect the staff to entertain children. Well this place did. My wife, 3 children and I came in to look around. It started with us saying to our children " don't touch anything" being afraid of them breaking something. One of their staff members, Lee, came to the rescue. Not only was he incredibly helpful in answering all our questions, he kept our children entertained the entire time we were there. Matter of fact, the next day my 7 year old son asked if we could go back and play with Lee. You tell me, what 7 year old have you ever meet that WANTS to go to a a furniture store. Campbell west elm staff have below average customer service. The products are not the issue. it is just the attitude of the staff. Arrogant and they hang up on you if you ask for their full name or to talk to their manager. So unprofessional. The feedback shared by folks who go to the Campbell store is consistently bad! This review is for West Elm's inventory control and customer service, not this particular store. I bought several pieces of furniture throughout the past few months after my home remodel. Unfortunately, it takes at least 3 months to order anything that is not in stock. After waiting 2 months for a chair, I decided I didn't want to wait another month and a half to get it so I tried to cancel it. I called their customer support and all they did was say they'd put in a request with the vendor and that it may go through in 7-10 days. How is their vendor issue my problem? I ordered from West Elm not their vendor so WEST ELM should take care of it. It's ridiculous and to top it off, it's the wrong chair. I've called them 3 times and the third time they said they'd transfer me to a supervisor and then got hung up on after holding for 15 min. Unacceptable and I'd be very cautious of buying anything you have to order. Sheets and vases are fine but anything from THEIR warehouse is a nightmare to deal with and you'll be waiting months to get your order. TBH the quality isn't worth the cost either. It's Living Spaces quality with Pottery Barn prices. read more

I'm giving west elm, a one star and let me say that that's being generous. If I could, I would give them a zero star. And a small outdoor indoor table perfect enough to put a plant on it. I took it to the register it had tags on it and everything only to be told by the store manager that he didn't know if I could purchase it because it was from the floor. I asked him yes but there are two tags on it right I don't understand why I can't purchase it. I was told that for things like that that I would have to order it except when you look online, you can order the table so they don't have it online and this is the only one that they had in store. the store manager that helped me at the Times name is Kenneth he made me feel like he was doing me such a huge favor by selling me this $200 outdoor indoor table. He was giving me the vibes like I should be so grateful that he's going out of his way and allowing me to buy this table. He even said "I'll just go ahead and do it this one time we're not supposed to do this." Now I'm an easy shopper but when I'm paying $200 for a table and you're making me feel like you're doing me a favor that's absolutely ridiculous. are you in business to sell or what?
