I recently bought a mattress from Mancini Sleepworld, and I truly cannot say enough good things about my experience especially because of the associate that helped me- Ruben. He is the main reason I am writing this review I had been putting this off for so long because I expected it to be stressful, overwhelming, and a huge headache. Instead, it ended up being an amazing and genuinely enjoyable experience (which I never thought mattress shopping would be). Ruben was extremely personable, friendly, and even humorous, which immediately made me feel super comfortable! He walked me through everything step-by-step, explained all the ins and outs in a way that was super easy to understand, and provided details and answers to questions I didn't even know I should be asking! His attention to detail was incredible, and when I felt overwhelmed or unsure, he helped guide me through my choices without any pressure. He truly went above and beyond -- giving special care, patience, and thoughtfulness throughout the entire process. I left feeling confident, excited, and genuinely happy about my purchase and the setup I chose, and I honestly wouldn't have been able to do it without his help. I have been buying from Mancini's for years and bought a total of three Beauty Rest from them, the last two being the black line. Recently, within my 10-year warranty period (well within it) my mattress started coming apart on the bottom. They sent a specialist to look at it who told me the mattress indeed is having issues that should be covered by a warranty but then I got a denial claim from them saying it is not covered. I have kept this mattress in a mattress cover since day one and it looks brand new on top. There is no reason the bottom should be coming apart from the seams and there is no reason to deny this claim, except, apparently there is. Kevin told me that Beauty rest is known for fighting warranties. Why wasn't I told this upfront before buying it as they told me this is a great mattress. It's been over a month now since the inspector visited my home and Mancini's just keeps telling me that beauty rest is not working with them. Kevin told me he escalated this to his mgr but I never hear back and call them once a week. I shouldn't have to chase this down. This is ridiculous as I paid almost $3K for this mattress and thought I was buying a great mattress with a great warranty. Now I am finding out they sell mattresses that the maker does not stand behind. WHY? At this point I am pointing the finger at both Beauty rest AND Mancini's as Mancini's should not promote and carry a mattress where the maker is unwilling to warranty their mattress! It should be noted that since I first filed the claim, both sides are now coming apart so things are getting worse. Also, Kevin told me that if Beauty rest did cover this, they have the option of repairing it (love to see how that would work!) or giving me whatever mattress they deem a replacement. NO WAY! I looked up what the replacement mattress for the one I bought is called and I will insist on that. I am one day way from getting 7 on your side involved! read more

The worse delivery service ever. We are on our 4th delivery and still they are not bringing the correct order. No connection plugs!! No base for my queen size bed brought twin instead! No moveable base for my very expensive mattress!!! I'm still waiting for a remote to run the bed which they had to order!!! I thought all of these items came with the bed the he said he wouldn't charge us for ordering a new one. Do not believe anything these guys say they talk out of the side of their head!!!!! read more

Came to this location because we were in the area, and Steve was our man. Let me tell you, he was on top of everything, very informative, and easily one of the best sales people I ever encountered. We ended up not buying a mattress at this location but at the Blossom Hill location because we had a "hook up" at the other location, but I really want to give Steve the sale because he did all the work in helping us decided what to get. Delivery happened a couple days later, and when the person tried out the bed, there were a couple things we had missed. Chris continued to work with us to come up with a solution, which was just delivered today. The person using the bed is now very happy with it. Steve is guy you want to see when you visit Mancini's Sleepworld! This was the first time I was going to buy my adult bed that was wasn't an IKEA or Costco bed. I honestly had no idea what I wanted other than something comfortable that won't hurt my back. Walking into Mancini's, I was a little worried about getting an overly pushy sales person, but Steve was so amazing. He was super knowledgable, friendly, and let us take our time. He had a method to all the mattress choices that helped us narrow it down to our winner. We bought the Tempurpedic medium mattress and we've been sleeping on a cloud ever since. There was a promotion running for 2 free pillows which we took advantage of (and can test with the bed you're going to get!). I was initially hesitant about making a purchase because we were getting close to a holiday and I wanted to see if there were any sales. Steve said that if there were any sales, they would match the price. Later that month, Tempurpedic had a deal for $200 off the mattress we bought, so I called Steve up and he price matched over the phone. Easy peasy! Super impressed with the team at Mancini's Sleepworld on Bascom. We walked in skeptics and walked out making an informed purchase. The bonus is the time from purchase to delivery and install at home was less than 24 hours! John (and his colleague) helped us compared the different mattress pricing options to find the desired comfort at a fair value. My compagne ended up purchasing an Aireloom brand king mattress. There was no pressure while shopping, only open, straightforward discussion of the options and advantages, of all price ranges. Excellent bedding options at a great value. Two and a half years ago I purchased a mattress from this store. It had a 10 year guarantee. The mattress failed. They sent out a bed inspector who concurred. When I went to replace it (as promised), I learned the mattress company went out of business. The store would not honor the guarantee and the best they could do was give me 50% off another mattress. I found this unacceptable as that was not what the guarantee stated (mattress replacement). I feel the store should honor the guarantee of a product they found good enough to represent and sell. I tried four times in a week to reach management in Livermore, their headquarters, with absolutely NO response. You can't even speak to a real person when you call, only leave messages. Not even, we'll get back to you or acknowledgment of my calls. I find this abhorrent and NO way to do business. I have purchased several mattresses from this store and referred a number of my friends who have also purchased from them. Never again. Poorest customer service ever and absolutely no excuse for not responding to my calls. read more

We had just moved back to the state and had all of a day to set up our rental. Having owned a Tempur-Pedic for the last few years, we knew we couldn't stray far. We had never previously shopped at Mancini's and chose this particular location out of convenience but I'm so glad we did. Steve, the salesman was extremely knowledgeable but also completely hands-off and not pushy or trying to up-sell, I wish more salespeople took his approach. I bought a mattress here a year or two ago and had no problem having it exchanged for a new one when the product I bought broke down. I knocked off a star as a point of caution which is that the mattress I bought and had replaced is dubbed the same as the one I bought a few years back, yet is an inferior product. They changed a few things in the manufacturing process and that wasn't brought to my attention as far as I remember. It was a shame because the original product was outstanding and remains so to this day. Make sure you're getting a high quality product which is what they normally sell. We went in to buy a mattress last week. The social distancing protocol left a lot to be desired. I had to tell the salesperson to stay six feet away from me. There were too many customers wandering in the store, so people came quite close. If they had directionality to walk around the store that could be avoided! The cash register does not have any kind of shield so you have to stand close to the salesperson when they show how the pricing breaks down and when you pay. And no markings for people to stay six feet apart. Worst of all, a salesperson (Eric) took off his mask and I had to tell him to put it back on! What omg earth?! If you are COVID-conscious, you'd better forget trying a mattress and just buy online. I posted the above paragraph on their FaceBook page. I would recommend this store location because they really try hard to satisfy each customer. The Manager, Ted, and Assistant Manager, Steve, were professional. I purchased a queen, Tempur-Pedic mattress and a bunk bed with a trundle. They went out of their way to make sure that I was happy with my purchases. Their store follows all SCC Health Department protocols and I felt safe during my time spent there. Service was fair. Information provided differed from other stores and the manufacturers website. To put it mildly, we were looking for a split California king tempurpedic mattress and the associate who helped us was wearing flip flops, a tee shirt, and shorts. He contradicted what tempurpedic says in their catalog, website and on the displays they had in the store. Stating that the rhapsody breeze and the rhapsody luxe have the same firmness. That is not true, one is firm and the other is med-firm. Then they have two different mattress height, but they were the same to him only off a 1/4, when in fact they differ a full inch. We were in the store when they were pressure watching their parking lot. I'm sorry, we are in s drought! I cannot begin to tell you how amazing my experience was with Mancini's. I will never buy my mattresses from anywhere else. My boyfriend is moving here from Europe and needs a long mattress since he's 6'8". He visited and tested mattresses at Mancini's and found a couple he liked. I went separately and tried them and then we went back together while comparing prices around the area and online. The team was helpful but not pushy at all. We couldn't find a better deal anywhere else, so I went again after my boyfriend left and decided to purchase the mattress during the July 4th sale. The clincher, I needed it held for five weeks until he got here and didn't want to pay the full amount until then since I was about to take a vacation to Europe and was on a tight budget until that time. Steve at the team at Mancini's was happy to oblige and I put down a deposit (20%) and scheduled my delivery for when my boyfriend and I got back into town. Fast forward a month and our flights back get canceled and we both get stuck in Europe. Every time I called the store was closed since I was 9 hours ahead time zone-wise, and when they called me back, I was asleep, as it was the middle of the night at my hotel. Through email, Steve and the team took care of it and was able to reschedule my delivery until after I returned. Brilliant! Visiting Mancini's in Campbell was a great choice - the selection was just fine, and the staff was low pressure and very helpful explaining the differences. I was wary that it would be a high pressure up sell situation, but found that it was an easy and relaxed place to get information, try out different mattresses, talk about differences, and eventually we made our purchases. The staff was excellent, and the delivery team made the experience easy from booking with convenient two hour windows on the day we chose, as well as helping us through an exchange due to a mistake I made. Because we had not bought a mattress together or within the last 15 years we assumed this would be a long, difficult process but we figured we would start here because we can walk to it from our house. However we worked with Michael and had an a great experience. Michael was knowledgeable, made the process fun and was a good salesman without being "salesmany" (you know the type). We looked at Mancini's first, then we checked out several other mattress stores, Mancini's had the best deal for us. We worked with the store manager Loren, he was really nice, honest and direct. He wasn't pushy (big plus). We bought the bed, set up a time that was convenient for us for delivery....then we went to lunch :) They delivered the mattress, set up our bed, took the old bed and mattress with them so we didn't have to hassle with that. We had the bed for a few weeks, my husband felt it was a little too firm. I called Loren, he simply switched the mattresses for us. (they give you 120 days) We've had the softer mattress for about a week.....love it. I will definitely come back to Mancini's when we purchase another bed. read more

A friend of mine recommended me to Kevin to help find a new mattress. I was in the middle of an EXTREMELY stressful move and Kevin did everything he possibly could, and via phone at that. He asked me very specific questions - what size, what firmness, do you have a preference on brand, if I was okay with a clearance bed (well because... 2016 ballin' on a budget here), what area I live closest to, and most importantly, WHAT IS MY BUDGET! (This question is crucial to me!) He informed me the Campbell location doesn't hold a wide range, compared to other stores, so he had me check out the Winchester Ave location. He told me 4 different brands to test out and let him know which one I preferred the most. Once I decided, all I had to do was call the store and put down a deposit. I literally did nothing except test out 4 beds at the store closest to me and call with a credit card. He scheduled a drop-off date for me, and he hooked me up with a free sheet set since I visited the Winchester store, (if they have this deal on Yelp when you are looking, definitely check-in to get the free sheet set!). I was shocked and stunned at how easy and smooth Kevin made this purchase! If you are in search for a mattress, (and if you have no idea what the heck you want), SEE KEVIN! First time mattress shopping right out of college. I'm on a budget of $500 or less and went to multiple stores to compare mattresses. Each store had great selections that were super comfortable but what made me decide to buy at Mancini's Sleepworld was the customer service. I have to thank Sean for the great shopping experience. He greeted and offered his assistance when I entered the store. As a first time buyer, I had many questions to ask (e.g. how antimicrobial beds work, springs, what's a box spring, etc. I am completely clueless haha.) and the cool thing was he listened and answered them all. I have to say, I learned much through our talk. Based on my budget, he was able to show me something very nice and knowing full well of my preferences and budget level, he wasn't forceful in selling. I actually saw him more as a mattress adviser instead of a sales person and it really made the whole shopping experience simple for me. The shipping is free and the mattress should be coming in next day. I believe that is common in other stores but I am simply happy that everything went smoothly so far. My mother (age 83) and I (age 60) came in on 8/3/15. From the get-go, we both felt the employee who "helped" us was a bit rude, but we overlooked it. However, his tone gradually deteriorated until he became so offensively rude and condescending that we independently and simultaneously declared we were leaving. Mancini's also covers up all pricing information, which I consider an anti-customer business practice designed to hinder price comparisons.
