Well well well let be begin to talk about Arhaus in Los Gatos. The furniture selection is beautiful, classy, and definitely on the pricey side but you can see where the price comes from. The pieces have a really distinctive look and feel, and custom made and shipped directly from Italy. it's hard to walk around the showroom without finding something you want to take home. Pauline was wonderful to work with helpful, knowledgeable, and never pushy. We ended up replacing pretty much all of our living room and dining room furniture, along with a few accent pieces, so needless to say, we left with a whopping bill! But hey, you don't walk into Arhaus expecting a bargain. If you fall in love with the pieces, be prepared to empty the pockets a little. I bought 2 Deacon chairs and matching ottomans from the Los Gatos Arhaus. They were delivered today and the quality of the leather on the chairs is markedly inferior to the model on display in the store. The telephone support woman tried to tell me (condescendingly!) that it was probably a natural variation in the leather. Well, the chair and the ottoman don't really match (subtle shade difference) and the finish on the leather is completely different. Silly me, I expected the chair and matching ottoman to actually match. At first I told them to send me a new pair of chairs and hope that I get a better set of chairs, but after hanging up with the unhelpful Ashline, I changed my mind and want to simply get my money back. I will update this after I get my complete refund. These chairs are supposed to be top quality. I'm so disappointed that they are really really substandard! Bummer! They are comfy, but the cheap leather finish would drive me nuts. read more

Arhaus offers very attractive furniture and their employees are professional. However, based on my terribly frustrating experience, one must be insane to purchase anything from ArHaus. Below describes our experience: 1. Substantial delay in receiving furniture. This caused huge disruption in our home. 2. When the furniture did arrive, one large section was the wrong color, it was as opposite from the white sofa we ordered as colors can get. It was jarring to look at. 3. After roughly 6 months of constant problems with ArHaus, we finally received the correct color to the section of the sofa. 4. At this point I am working with the most senior people of ArHaus located in Ohio. Since my experience with ArHaus was so utterly unprofitable, I insisted Arhaus disgorge its profit from my transaction. I was prepared to go to war and they knew it. 5. ArHaus is so incompetent that they could not calculate their profit. They gave me some convoluted explanation of their intricate accounting system. I settled for a 50% discount. 6. It has been less than a year and one section of the sofa is defective. To release the leg extension, one must press a button. That button activates if you breath on it. We can't get that section to return to its normal position. I complained 2-3 weeks ago, having to return to the store twice. By the time the technician comes to my house on Oct 29, roughly 4-5 weeks will have passed. 7. A lovely chair with an ottoman is also defective. You can't sit in this chair without it reclining to an unbearable position. I have yet to tell ArHaus about this. It is so frustrating to work with this company that I hesitate to advise them of yet another defect. But I will. 8. There isn't enough money at stake to sue Arhaus for breach of contract and defective product but as a matter of principle, legal action is warranted. In America, litigation is a simple math equation. 9. There have been other problems with ArHaus that I won't describe. 10. I don't understand how such an incompetent company stays in business. 11. Adding insult to injury, I hired Sarah Byrne, an interior designer located in the South Bay/Palo Alto area to help me in creating a lovely home. She has excellent taste. However, she has all but ignored our problems with ArHaus, she has been altogether unhelpful in interceding on our behalf to the best of my knowledge and has effectively ignored her responsibilities after the delivery of the sofa section identified in Item 2, above. Warning, I have been purchasing furniture from Arhaus for years and spent a lot of money with them. This go around I decided to purchase a piece of jewelry from them and after 5 weeks of wearing the bracelet it broke in half. I called customer care and was told there is no warranty on any of their jewelry. I am cautioning you to beware that they dont stand behind the quality of their jewelry and will not replace if it is defective. I talked to their manager and they refused to help me in this situation. They have lost a furniture customer because they chose to not stand by their jewelry they sell on their website. read more

Annie at the Palo Alto location is one of the best customer-service oriented employees I have ever met. Her calm demeanor and friendly attitude make it very easy to talk to her and she is completely willing to help when issues may arise. We recently had an issue with a particular piece of furniture and Annie went above and beyond to help us get the item exchanged in a way that satisfied us. A lot of times you have to fight for what's right, but Annie didn't make it a fight, she was on our side the whole time and dealt with corporate for us in a way that got us the best outcome. It's very rare unfortunately to come by someone in retail that cares so much about customers and takes the time to help in any way possible and do the right thing. She even got us multiple price adjustments when the item we ordered dropped in price before it was delivered! Annie is the only person I'd trust when I shop at Arhaus, she never drives a hard sale and she always looks out for the best interest of the customer and realizes that Arhaus is a premium brand that should be offering the highest level of customer satisfaction. I wish her the best in her career, she is a true gem and Arhaus is lucky to have her! If you get a chance to shop at the Palo Alto location, look for Annie, she is 100 percent the one you want working on your order. read more

This is a review for Arhaus as a company and not our local retail store. Unless you are buying a product that is in stock at the local retail store or sitting in their distribution center, do not trust anything they say about delivery times. We are currently waiting seven months for a product that was promised to be in stock and would be delivered when we moved into our new home which was two months after the order date. Product was paid in full on November 10, 2024. We have been given at least four different dates of when this product will arrive. We are still waiting.... We have been told that the product would be ready to be delivered early April 2025, April 13, 2025, at the latest May 31, 2025 and today they have told us at the earliest time that the product would be in stock in the United States will be June 10 2025. The product was ordered on November 10, 2024. This is for side dining chairs. We have spent a significant amount of money furnishing our new home with Arhaus furniture and I will never do business with this company in the future. For what we have received so far, the quality of the product is good but this company is highly unethical and will tell you anything to try to appease you. Again, unless this is a product that is in stock at your local store or guaranteed to be sitting at your local distribution center, I would not purchase from this company. read more
