My team at work has been all about barre lately and we decided to go after a long business day to get a nice workout in! We were in town for business so we wanted a place that would take ClassPass credits and able to accommodate about 7 of us with varying degrees of experience with barre. For me, this was my second barre class ever, first with barre3, and it blew my first experience out of the water. I had issues with my first barre class (again, not with barre3) with the instructor going too fast, not showing us what to do, and me being very confused through the hour. I'm no stranger to yoga, Pilates, and working out in general so it was a bit frustrating going into barre. This was not true with barre3-Coppell! We had the pleasure of having Mary Beth teach our class. She is helpful, engaging, and pushed us to do our best. She guided us all through the class, showed us modifications that we could do depending on our ability, and encouraged us throughout the class. I had such a great time and a nice workout for the evening. My only qualm with our 7pm class was that the room where we performed barre was very... dank and warm. Presumably from the last class and as an encouragement (?) to also sweat off our day. Which I did and I got a great workout, but a little air would help! The phenomenal instructors and front desk staff are so friendly and welcoming. They are upbeat and on point with their cues while they fluidly make modifications for those who need them while issuing challenges to those who need a bit more push. Best. Place. Ever. Barre3 is the only workout place that has kept me consistent and makes me want to keep coming back!! I wake up in the morning and actually look forward to attending class!! Barre on crack. Seriously. I've been to a number of barre classes across town, mainly Flybarre, the Barre Code and Pure Barre, but Barre3 is definitely the best workout. If I lived closer, I'd be here more often in a heartbeat. I visited the studio during a mid-morning class on a weekday (around 815ish) and was surprised to find the class was pretty packed. The workout is a bit more fast paced (to keep your heart rate up) and the moves, although low intensity, are the perfect amount of reps to truly tire out those muscles and tone... it... up! Sometimes I use barre as my "easy" recovery workout on days I'm not feeling it, but this totally kicked my butt (in a good way), sore muscles for days. Best burn of my life! I've bounced around with fitness my whole life but I've finally found something challenging and versatile enough to come back to time and time again! I Finally hit 100 classes recently so I know I'll be sticking with it. I never leave without a sweat and classes are totally customizable. I've gone super hard and also taken it light when I had a shoulder injury with modification ideas and support from the staff. Speaking of the staff, they do a fantastic job of making you feel comfortable and part of the Barre3-Coppell family from day one. I recommend this class to all of my friends ! read more

Today's class was amazing. I love how each teacher is like my own personal trainer. They push me hard and know what I'm capable of.

Visiting from out of town I was greeted by a friendly staff and was made very welcome. The workout was killer and I was sore even as of this review. Five Stars! PS. Under the new ownership this location has gone downhill FAST! She is cancelling classes left and right. All the good instructors are leaving and the staff is not nearly as friendly as they used to be. I used to love going to Barre3. I loved everyone who worked there from the owners, front desk staff, instructors, child care staff but not anymore. I would recommend looking elsewhere. Small, cute, clean studio in Coppell. The instructors that led the classes I took were knowledgeable and are encouraging, correcting you if needed without embarrassing you. Even if you can't keep up and need to take a 5 second break, you won't really feel judged. Bring a water bottle (I think there's a water fountain outside? not sure) and wearing yoga pants/tank is recommended as you'll constantly be moving and you'll get sweaty/hot. Classes are intense and you'll definitely leave sweaty and feeling a burn all over. They have good playlists for each session. They offer $30 for 3 classes/2weeks or $59 unlimited classes for 2 weeks if you are a new registrant online. They're friendly to newcomers! Will be back read more

I live a bit too far from Barre3 Coppell to be a routine member, drat(!), but this place is DELIGHTFUL. You'll find challenging workouts, a welcoming community, and supportive teachers who know their barre business. I especially like the airy environment with natural light and soothing music. Don't let that fool ya, though, your 60 minutes will be rigorous and well worth your time. read more

Can't get enough of barre3! I absolutely love this place. I started in Austin and then found out I was being relocated. I was delighted to see they were opening one up in DFW! I am not only an instructor but a client. I learn something new each and every day from the clients that come in and out of the studio -- not to mention the other instructors as well. I am 42 years and have never been into working out or dedicating time to a gym. (I haven't had a gym membership since 1997 at Bally's). I usually just tried to eat healthy, stay low carb and was happy with just losing a few pounds here and there. But as I am getting older, you know the cliché, "the older you get the harder it is"...My girlfriend convinced to me try Barre 3 as they were having free trial classes. I said "oh what the heck, I will try one class, just to say I did and make my friend happy"...Well.. Tonight will be my 4th class and I cannot tell you how great I feel when class ends. There is no pressure. There is no intimidation. There is nothing that should stop anyone from wanting to try Barre 3. Absolutely NOOOO intimidation. ALL the instructors are so sweet and gracious and excited that you are there enjoying their class. It is a muscle shaker (especially when you aren't a work out person, like me). It will leave you sore the next day (that burn as you're squatting to sit on the toilet..Ouch But you KNOW what I'm talking about). It will make you sweat (so go make up free and take water). BUT OH MY GOODNESS, it WILL MAKE YOU FEEL RELAXED AND WONDERFUL AND WANTING TO FEELTHAT WAY EVERYDAY. Shout out to my favorite instructor Kristina. And to co-owner Eileen. They are BOTH lovely and gracious and in INCREDIABLE SHAPE, but they NEVER EVER make you feel beneath them. Thank you so much to my girlfriend Dana, who asked me to give it a try. Love this place! After trying Pure Barre and getting discouraged, I finally gave Barre3 a try when the Coppell location opened - boy am I glad that I did! As it turns out, no two barre studios are the same. The main difference with Barre3 is that you work from a much more comfortable neutral spine rather than the "tuck" that Pure Barre encourages. The studio is clean and airy, with nice wooden floors, and I love their playlist during class! I've had a number of different instructors, and they are all great and make an effort to learn everyone's names. This is a very welcoming community, the workouts are tough (but manageable) and you walk out feeling amazing every time. No matter what your fitness level, they are very good about offering a modification to accommodate you. Barre3 is now a regular part of my fitness regimen. read more

Great studio! Instructors are friendly and always provide alternative moves for people with injuries! Only downside is their schedule. If you work 9-6, 5:45 am might be a bit too early for you and 7 pm might be hard to get to in time with traffic. Other than that I would highly recommend this place! :) read more

Excellent workout that you can modify for different levels of fitness or to accommodate different conditions. I never feel like I'm pushed to do something that's too hard for me. They focus on proper form, not just blowing through an exercise to get it finished. I like that the focus is on real health, not superficial appearances. I have seen an increase in my muscle tone, strength, endurance, and energy levels since joining. The increased core stability has improved my swimming and walking speeds. The more classes per week I go to, the easier it gets as that week goes on. I would recommend speaking with the instructors prior to classes to let them know about any issues, shoulders, knees etc, so they can point out exercise modifications if needed. read more

Barre3 is awesome. I've taken the class in Seattle and Portland and was interested to see how the Texas studio measured up. I was impressed! Randi our instructor was clear, warm, engaging and kept a great pace. I regularly take barre classes and I was feeling the BURN. After class I spoke with owners and could tell they truly care about providing a great overall experience. Added plus - the front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and the studio was beautiful and sparklingly clean. What's not to love?! I'll be back tomorrow to take a class while I'm in town.
