The pizza is always well done, nice and hot just the way I like it. It's never a moment I didn't like them.

This place was GREAT!!!!! The food was so good and plentiful--I took a full container home and it was half of my plate. The owner was generous with his time and attention and our server was truly professional. The bar was vibrant and the restaurant immaculately clean. read more

Last time I came in got the chicken Caesar salad. Loved the portion sized. It's one of the two salads out there I love. I like the cheese they put on the salad. The time before that I got the pork chops. Hard to go wrong with pork chops. The bread they bring out before your order is the best. It's hot and they also provide butter, olive oil with spices/ seasonings. Its a big menu it took me a few times before I ordered something off the menu that brought me joy. read more

Used Barraco's for catering this past Saturday January 2026. Ordered six pizzas all different. Every one of them turned out amazing ordered two different types of salads Caesar and spinach salad absolutely amazing the dressings that came with the salad were absolutely outstanding. Would never bother going any walls for catering or indoor dining. everything delivered on time and red hat cannot say enough about Barraco's Evergreen Park.. read more

I'm really happy to share this review. I happened to try this place on a hungry day at the house and ordered a pizza on UberEats. The pizza was hot and so delicious. I instantly made it a favorite on the UberEats app. My husband and I got married on 7/3/22 and we needed to return the rented tux soon thereafter and low and behold, we noticed that the Barracco's is right by the tux place so we decided to stop and dine in on 7/5/22. It's a big place - we got there early afternoon and was surprised that it wasn't busy. We ordered the Bruschetta (I asked for some balsamic vinegarette sauce to put on top), Chicken Wings in hot and bbq and a large sausage, mushroom and onion large pizza. Everything was really yummy! We had plenty to take home. Service was good and it was pretty quiet in the establishment. We will definitely continue to patronize this restaurant. Thank you Barracco's! A++!! read more

The food isn't the best especially compared to their prices. I've stopped ordering just because the last two times have been so terrible, I had gotten a pasta dish and it was smothered in a disgusting amount of garlic after they had sent my father back and forth to evergreen and mount greenwood claiming he hadn't put in an order when I legit watched him call the mount Greenwood location. The soup tastes like Campbell soup which for a restaurant is ridiculous if you guys wanna give us Olive Garden food give olive garden prices. read more

Terrible attention to detail or inability to prepare food as requested. Never order the salmon unless you like dry tasteless chalkboard erasers with Charlie grill. I made edited request to please not overcooked and what I got couldn't be cooked more without it being burt and inedible. Never Again! You never know what you'll get from Barraco's. First time I ordered same dishbit was fantastic. 2nd time not so good. So this 3rd time I say "please have moist do not overcook or dry. I get cardboard wtf read more

On 7/9/23 we ordered a family size veggie pizza with additional ingredients. The meat, fresh spinach, fresh garlic and fresh basil were considered as two ingredients. The price came out to over $50. I should have followed my first mind and cancelled my order but we were hungry and I thought that we can have left overs. Got the pizza home and it was the blandest pizza we ever had. We were so disappointed. I had to doctored the pizza up with seasoning and shredded cheese from home to make it tasty and they forgot the garlic. I could have saved us $40 and got a better tasting Cheese pizza from Aldi and called it a day. I spoke with the manager on 7/10/23 and he said that we should have called back in to complain and also brought the pizza back. He will inform the other night managers about my complaint but there is nothing he can do about it. My husband and I ordered from Barraco's from time to time. Usually, the pizza is satisfying to say the least. Barraos lost some good customers with this. ~ Disappointed customers, read more

The food was solid got a good pasta nice people little slow but the thing that ticked me off. Was the false advertising was completely bogus and rude. I had my hopes higher for a cookie sundae dessert which I had consumed in the past. When I looked at the menu I was as excited as a child on Christmas when I saw it was still on the menu. But when I asked Marvin/Martin/Marty or whatever tf bros name was. He told me they took out of the menu and out of the restaurant truly disappointing experience would've liked a heads up in the future so more people don't experience the tragic heartbreak that I had to endure today. read more

Recently hosted a baby shower at this location. Location, food, and ambiance were perfect. Service, from the point of booking the party until the end of the shower, was very poor. Management was rude and seemed very bothered when asked questions regarding pricing, decor rules, etc. for the party. Did not seem interested in having our business at all. Nonetheless, decided on this location because food and space met my needs. During the party however, servers were extremely inattentive. Did not refill water, never went to tables to take orders for pop, coffee, etc. included in the price of the package for the party. Unfortunately, my guests then did not take advantage because they did not know. Also, plates were cleared faster than people could even finish their food. Servers were not attentive to make sure buffet was filled until every guest was served, and did not even make any of the hosts aware food was ready to be served. Automatic 20% too was included in the cost, but we did not receive service that deserving of that amount. I would not recommend anyone host a party here based on this experience. I have attended parties at other Barraco's location with superb service. Unfortunate that this location fell short because it is a beautiful space. read more

DONT ORDER CATERING! This is a shame I have to write this. I've ordered catering from Baracco's for years and after the food I received last....NEVER AGAIN! I ordered the chicken, beef and mostaccioli catering package for my sons birthday. Everyone who ate was sick with vomiting, diarrhea and stomach pain. I initially thought it was the chicken though because it was very dry. When I finally regained somewhat of an appetite later the next evening, I pulled the refrigerated beef out from my fridge. Upon opening the lid to the beef I immediately knew something was wrong. The beef wasn't cooked thoroughly and was swimming in red blood colored juice. I called Baracco's to let them know and was first hung up on, and then when I called back was dismissed and told "we always cook our beef to the proper internal temperature." by Jennifer, a manager. When I complained that this is apparently not the case, she told me she would let Daniella know and then hung up on me....not even taking my phone number. I really wanted to support a local business, but never again will it be this one! read more

I was at this restaurant and ordered the chicken wings. They came and were cold and the chicken was not fresh. I told the waitress that I did not want the food and she stayed that it could nir be returned. I asked if it could be substituted and she stared no. Believe it or not I'm not here to talk about Pizza. Barracos has one of the better beef sandwiches on the southside. The sandwich's gravy has a slight reddish tint to it, which leads me to believe there is some marinara thrown in. It adds a nice rich flavor. The bread is legit standard beef standard fair, and the hot peppers are on point. Don't forget the fries! Very good! Service was quick and efficient. read more

The pizza is good but so are the other dishes. They're a bit pricey but the portion sizes make up for it. I enjoyed the pizza but I'm still looking for a better thin crust pizza spot in the area. My family booked a holiday party for Christmas 2020. We gave a deposit and then due to surging COVID, both Illinois Dept of Public Health and city of Chicago had restrictions on parties greater than 10 people and we were forced to cancel. We notified Barracos and were told we could not get a refund because at that time they were still hosting parties. Despite the restrictions. We have been long time supporters of Barracos pizza both in Evergreen Park and Mt. Greenwood. We completely understand the stress of the pandemic on businesses and have done our best to be supportive throughout this time. We are not asking for a refund, but just the money in credit for future pizza use. But the harsh and unprofessional response from the staff was very disappointing. We expected more from this long standing family business. read more

Food is awesome. Speedy delivery. Little bakery next store is on point too. Friendly staff.

The weirdly cut pizza, minced ingredients, and super sweet sauce make for an expensive disgusting pizza.

Wow never experienced such disrespect and horrible customer service . The bartenders clearly saw my friend and I come In and sit at bar, they intentionally ignored us for 20 min , no welcome greet or menu . When I got up to speak to the woman at the front (host), she had a dry nonchalant stare , I informed her about the wait I was enduring just to receive a menu . She said one minute she will go talk to the bartender , when she went over and talk with her , the bartender smirked and they continued thier conversation for 5 min till my friend and I just got up and left . The host and bartender still were thier talking at end of bar and just watched us get up to leave. Not sure how the food taste and will never know , I was referred by a person to come to this place and now I will definitely spread my word of mouth for no one to attend this establishment!!!! read more

I decided to try this location based on the reviews. I usually never order deep dish but I was in the mood for something different. I ordered from Uber eats. The delivery was very fast. The pizza was just ok. It was more like bread with cheese, toppings and sauce on top. There was a lot of bread , more bread than toppings. I was not impressed. I won't be ordering their deep dish again. The crust was hard. I will stick to their thin crust which I love. read more

I know every restaurant (especially with take-out) will get its occasional low review, but this is a pretty chill place with a nice bar. After ordering here for over twenty years, I can say that the pizza is good and delivery is fast, and once in a while, I'l stop by for two slices to go, which are always good. It's got a real neighborhood feel to it. I usually go to Barraco's two other local locations, but I thought it was important to give this place a positive review, too. read more

I wanted to take my niece to eat after her dance performance. Beggars was closed so we tried this restaurant which was up the street. The moment we walked in the guy at the front asked for a reservation which we didn't have because it didn't mention it online to make one. He then proceeded to say we couldnt dine- in because of this so I asked why wasn't it posted online and if I could speak with manager to understand why we couldn't make a reservation now and dine in seeing how it's 24 hours. He refused to get a manager and said he was the manager even though he had on no name tag nor was trying to be accommodating. I was told this place was racist but didn't want to believe it because I've never been and didn't want to just take someone else word for it. I will also add their was only two tables with guest at them so they weren't busy. read more

I've been a huge fan of Barraco's Pizza for over 20 years. On Veteran's Day I had guests and decided to order pizza. The Mount Greenwood location is closest, so I attempted to order on-line. The system wouldn't process the order, so I placed my order via the phone. I was told I didn't get the 15% discount ordering over the phone, and I should print off a coupon for the delivery person if I wanted the discount. The manager was very rude. There was no printable online coupon, so I called again. The young lady who answered said, "Well I guess we don't have one." The manager was requested, and he said the same ridiculous "no coupon" thing. They were both condescending, arrogant and unhelpful. I cancelled my order. I called the Barraco's on 95th near Western. I have lunch there regularly and they don't have the same bias attitudes of Mount Greenwood. They were happy to provide the 15% discount and my pizzas were delivered - HOT! This location is only for certain people I clearly am not one of them. I noticed there were several negative reviews where the reviewers are Black. This isn't by chance - it is Mount Greenwood. read more
