Unanimously, we all agreed the coffee was a rich, robust blend of wake me up goodness - not sure what it was, but it's a safe bet that Tina's isn't serving up the cheapest brand on the shelf. With breakfast on the agenda, we ordered several different meals between the four of us (omelets, biscuits and gravy, pancakes and the standard eggs and hashbrowns). All were prepared well and satisfied our hunger. The B&G was a clear winner with plenty of sausage mixed into a savory tasting gravy that smothered fresh, fluffy biscuits to perfection. Not a lot of places get biscuits and gravy right, but Tina's certainly knows how to add some country love to this Midwest favorite. If you're ever in Iola and want something better than breakfast at McDonald's, step up your game and experience a hometown, country diner. I assure you Tina's won't miss the mark.
