Their weekly and monthly specials are always worth a try. The salads are very good, along with their soups. And the breads...always homemade rolls and buns. I had the Turkey club and fried potatoes hubby had cheeseburger mac&cheese and a side salad. Both were absolutely delicious. Could not pass up the cake. This restaurant is all homemade, made from scratch foods. I believe it's ran by a Mennonite family. On Saturdays, the day we went, they only have a breakfast buffet. They open at 7am and we got there at 7:30. It was already busy. The buffet was beautifully set up. The biscuits were so light and fluffy. Baked to a lovely golden brown. The sausage gravy was white and thick with chunks of sausage. There was two different kinds of egg casserole. Hash browns and more. They also had cinnamon sticky buns that were amazing. Also a pumpkin cheesecake muffin that was heaven. We will definitely come back here. The food was amazing. read more

We stopped for lunch on our way back to Colorado. Everything about our visit was top notch. The hostess and cashier were friendly and helpful. Great food! Just had lunch here on our way home from Table Rock Lake. Service with smiles, and the food sooo good. I had tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich. Excellent! We stopped in during their "in between" hours on our way to another town in KS. The menu was limited to baked goods, sandwiches and salads. We did NOT feel slighted! We had the chicken sandwiches & brisket sandwiches with sides. The buns are homemade and delicious! Each of the 9 of us agreed that the food portions were perfect and the taste was on point. Amazing! Everything was superbly delicious. What a treat! Definitely worth the few minutes off the highway! Homemade everything. The tri tip steak sandwich and catfish were both scrumptious!
