And this year I remembered to get a medium instead of a large because a large is like a foot tall! I'm not lying. Even the medium cone is probably at least 6 inches tall filled with ice cream and it's pretty heavy. But it's quite tasty and a medium cone was only four dollars. They do have a lot of other great soft serve flavors . You can't beat that. They have a drive thru window & parking on sides & in back.

Their product is good...four different coffee styles were all prepared well by the baristas and were certainly tasty. The baristas themselves were excellent...personable and attentive. But if you're looking for a place to hang out for a little while, this isn't the most comfortable joint I've visited. There are just a few small tables with hard bench type seating. But the real kicker is that there isn't a public restroom! This old man bladder CAN'T slurp down a 24 oz coffee, cross his legs, and hope for the best! So if I'm in downtown Butler and want a coffee for the road, I'd certainly visit again. But it's not a comfortable place to hang out for a while. I have been going there for years and its the consistency of these observations that keep me coming back. With that said there is one employee that stands out above the rest. Her name is Cloe and she is wonderful. Always attentive to my requests. Proactive by recognizing deficiencies before they happen. I see that she is quick on her feet at making decisions. I also notice Cloe's interactions with other employees and observe leadership qualities that would make her an incredible manager for your company. She is one in a million.

As my luck would have it, I quickly discovered that this restaurant does not have air conditioning. I'm not sure if it was just offline or if it is permanent; however, be warned!! The restaurant had children and elderly people seated, so I couldn't wimp out and go somewhere else. The Chop SHop is a downtown Butler must-try, and it is three concepts rolled into one. The Chop Shop is a vintage-style eatery serving sandwiches, milkshakes, burgers, vegetarian fare and grilled meats. I ordered their specialty milkshake, which is a loaded milkshake that comes with everything thrown into one Milkshake. Although it was a perfect drink for a heatwave, my milkshake quickly melted due to the heat in the restaurant. For the main course, I ordered the Mixed Grill, which had grilled elk tenderloin, smoked quail, caramelized bacon brussels sprouts, dauphinoise potatoes and a blackberry brandy demi-glaze. The food was awesome, and those potatoes were crazy-good. The Elk was cooked to medium as I ordered, and the quail was tender and juicy. Overall, a good but hot dining experience. The Chop Shop has great food, great service, and one day may serve alcohol in the restaurant, but for now, their food and drinks can be enjoyed without it.
