They are known for their mushroom soup, velvety and stacked full of fresh mushrooms. Hummus had a nice silky texture and they don't skimp on the Tahini. Pita bread, perfectly toasted and fresh. Moussaka was seasoned to perfection with a balsamic glaze drizzle. The gyro was delicious, meat was tender and the taziki was flavored so well which then made it exceptional. As my luck would have it, I quickly discovered that this restaurant does not have air conditioning. I'm not sure if it was just offline or if it is permanent; however, be warned!! The restaurant had children and elderly people seated, so I couldn't wimp out and go somewhere else. The Chop SHop is a downtown Butler must-try, and it is three concepts rolled into one. The Chop Shop is a vintage-style eatery serving sandwiches, milkshakes, burgers, vegetarian fare and grilled meats. I ordered their specialty milkshake, which is a loaded milkshake that comes with everything thrown into one Milkshake. Although it was a perfect drink for a heatwave, my milkshake quickly melted due to the heat in the restaurant. For the main course, I ordered the Mixed Grill, which had grilled elk tenderloin, smoked quail, caramelized bacon brussels sprouts, dauphinoise potatoes and a blackberry brandy demi-glaze. The food was awesome, and those potatoes were crazy-good. The Elk was cooked to medium as I ordered, and the quail was tender and juicy. Overall, a good but hot dining experience. The Chop Shop has great food, great service, and one day may serve alcohol in the restaurant, but for now, their food and drinks can be enjoyed without it.

Was up towards the Grove City Outlets and wanted a solid option that was open. Staff was incredibly friendly, atmosphere is homey and delightful. Pretzels on the appetizer front were amazing. Last night we ordered a pepperoni pizza. We were quoted a 15 minute wait and by the time we completed the 8 minute drive to get there, it was ready for us! The inside is cute, though I'm not sure we'll ever sit down here. It's clean and charming and just the right amount of kitschy. Got the pizza home, tried it, and it's good! For me, the standout is the sauce. It tastes fresh and not over-processed. The crust, for me, could do with some work. It's a bit of a floppy slice and if their oven could get a little hotter I think they'd nail it. It has just the right amount of chew. The cheese is okay. I'd like it if it had a bit more flavor, you can tell there's room to improve the quality of the cheese. Same for the pepperoni. Definitely not a standout or anything, but I don't expect wonders in pepperonis anyway. We placed an order over the phone in less than a minute, the pizza was made quickly, and it was a solid slice. Not much at all to complain about. It isn't the BEST slice of my life, but it is definitely a great place to start here in Butler. I'll keep you posted!

Not like i was trying to get steak. That and they where out of the Apple sauce for the kids meal but they did have some semi warm juice box left. They told me they would have called to let me know but didnt have a number I made sure my cell is in my account info online i would have checked the receipt but didnt get one. The owner did reach out to me to try and make it right. Which i am extremely happy he did. Some could care less as long as they make money. I am not looking for free or discounted food. I have no problem paying extra to get my kids to eat.
