We went for the first time with some friends and had a great time! So much talent! We were treated to a wonderful dinner followed by fantastic entertainment! We will definitely be back! Thank you for such a wonderful time!

Came here with friends for dinner and a show while an out of state friend is here to visit. Great choice! We were treated to a slice of chocolate cake FIRST! Afterward, We had barbecued delicacy: pork, chicken, cooked carrots, garlic mashed potatoes, and a salad. Very, very delicious! Our waiter and waitress checked in on us and kept our drinks filled. Awesome service! After dinner came the Barleen's Ebtertainment! The show was AMAZING and filled with lots of 50's/60's rock and roll performed by the Barleen's staff! I sang along to EVERY song! There was an intermission, which gave us the opportunity to check out the gift shop. I bought a few items too! Doing my civic duty to support local business! This place is only open from November to April, as many of the staff members are snowbirds and entertain in other places throughout the year. This is the last weekend they are open until they resume in the fall.

Can I take my 2 year old?

You can but it is unlikely they will sit still for 2 hrs. Theatre darkens. Others wont appreciate small child making noise during performance, Didn't notice any high chairs.

What was the closing song on Wed.Dec 5th?

    Oh Holy Night

I still enjoyed my time each time even though we were probably the youngest as someone got my husband and I tickets here for my birthday the past two years. The music was fantastic and we saw the variety show and the Grand Finale show and I enjoyed seeing multiple genres of music. The lead singers and musicians were phenomenal, and I absolutely loved the costume changes. The outfit changes really held my attention and was a great part of the show. The food, however, was just okay. I wouldn't come here for the food alone, but rather for the overall experience and to do something different. The meal included vegetables, potatoes, mashed potatoes, spinach cheese ravioli, chicken Parmesan, pulled pork dish, and a pineapple fish dish. This was the same food both times we went, so I'm not sure if they ever change it, I wish they did for a change. The pulled pork and cheese ravioli were good, but I wasn't a fan of the other dishes. The chicken Parmesan was probably the worst I've had as it wasn't at all what I expected from a traditional chicken parm. Dessert is a slice of chocolate cake that's already at your table when you arrive. I did think it was a nice touch that they pass out foil before the show ends so you can take it home and not waste it. The recommended tip listed on a sign at the table is $5 per person, so in addition to your ticket price, expect to pay at least that much extra. Drinks are also not included, so that's another added cost. Overall, this is a great experience, more so for 50+ and would make a fun gift, especially for a couple looking to do something different. I wish they had a family friendly show where it encouraged families with kids as I could see my kids who love music at 2 and 4 enjoying the show and dancing! I sat about in the middle of the theater and had a good view of everything. I really think most seats will be just fine!

The show was top-notch on every level: scenery, lighting, costumes, choreography, acting, singing, and the live orchestra in the pit. Everyone on stage was bursting with talent that is rarely seen anymore. Specifically, the rhythmic sounds of tap dancing, with the whole troop loudly stomping their heel and toe metal plates with stunning speed in perfect unison. This production absolutely nailed the emotional real-life message. Presented on stage was something everyone can relate to: laughing, crying, dreaming, and touching the human soul in its endeavor to never let dejection permanently impede our hopes for unrealized happiness. In our troubled times, this classic musical offers a dazzling and superb stimulus to recommit ourselves to maintaining happiness as an ongoing goal at every stage in life. The words from one of the iconic show songs state it better than I can: "Come on along and listen to, the lullaby of Broadway. The hip hooray and bally-hoo, the lullaby of Broadway!" On a final note, meals are often described as a "rubber chicken dinner," where food is merely an accompaniment to the main event. This is not the case at the Arizona Broadway (dinner) Theatre. The food easily competes with any remarkable restaurant!

Larry and Gwen held this show at the beginning of Corona-virus, just as the govt issued warnings of not gathering more than 50 people. Instead of abiding by social distancing they, "added 100 extra seats." I brought up concerns about this show, I was told I would be kept away from crowd (sorry crowd, who cares about you ). First off, the service was fantastic right away thanks to Evan. He greeted us with such a friendly smile and genuinely welcoming energy that immediately made us feel comfortable and excited to be there. He checked in on us throughout the night, asked if we needed anything, and helped us navigate the drink options and packages since it was our first time. You can tell he actually cares about customers having a good experience instead of just going through the motions. Honestly, he deserves a raise because he made the entire experience even better. We ended up getting the champagne package, and it was SUCH a fun addition to the night. It came with a bottle of champagne and two souvenir cups, which made it feel a little extra special and memorable. Definitely worth it if you're celebrating something or just want to elevate the experience a bit. The food itself was also surprisingly good, and not just "good for a dinner show" good. It was genuinely flavorful, cooked really well, and the portions were insane. Man oh man, they give you SO much food. I genuinely could not finish mine and ended up coming home with leftovers. They literally give you a whole chicken for yourself, which honestly shocked me when the plates came out. Everything felt hearty, filling, and worth the money. And of course, the fighting and entertainment were amazing too. The performances were exciting, engaging, and kept us entertained the entire time. It was one of those experiences where you actually get invested and caught up in cheering and reacting along with everyone else. The energy in the room was so fun. Overall, this place is absolutely worth experiencing at least once. Between the great service, fun atmosphere, huge portions, and entertaining performances, it turned into such a memorable night for both of us. We'll definitely be back again.
