A full evening of dinner and a show for around $50. It's a great deal! Went to see the Elvis and Friends show with an awesome group of people. You start with the buffet. There's a variety of food and it was all delicious. There's a few different proteins, this night was swiss cheese chicken, pulled pork, and beef stroganoff. The was roasted red potatoes and garlic mashed potatoes with gravy. And sides that included suateed vegetables and cheese raviolis , dinner rolls and butter. There was also a salad bar, but after a little bit of everything previously mentioned I was way too full. Had to save room for the chocolate cake. Then came the show. I never saw Elvis when he was alive, so I was excited to see this show. The guy does a great Elvis impersonation, taking you from the 60s Elvis, advancing to the Vegas Elvis era. And, since "and Friends", other folks in the crew did tributes to act like Bobby Darrin, Nancy Sinatra, Tony Orlando, Barbera Streisand, Melissa Manchester, etc. All people Elvis worked with to some level in his lifetime. Interspersed, was information about Elvis, the things he did for people, and discussions of the songs he sang. It was informative and very entertaining. The whole crew were incredibly talented at both singing and playing their instruments. The Silver Star also offers other variety shows, like a Country Music one, classic radio music one and a couple others. I had never been to a dinner theater before and really enjoyed it. If you're looking for something to do for a full evening or maybe have people visiting and looking for something to do, you should totally go!

    Cowboy Brad in concert!

Amazing buffet! Best chocolate cake ever! We had excellent seats! Cowboy Brad put on a great concert! Managed to spend some money in the gift shop! The place is beautiful! 10 out of 10!!

Great atmosphere, wonderful entertainment and very helpful and friendly staff. Wonderful venue to spend a couple of hours with family and friends. Don't think there is a bad seat in the house. The entertainment was wonderful and complimented by an excellent and helpful staff. From the moment you walk thru the door, to your seat and thru the food service. Top notch staff. Will return again, no question about it.

My lady and I enjoyed our return to the Silver Star after 3 years. We chose the Ultimate Hits show featuring rock hits from the 60's, 70's and 80's. When we arrived this past Friday (August 4th) evening, we noticed the bar was no longer there. We were informed that our servers (they were wonderful, not to mention efficient) would be available to take cocktail orders at our table and this worked out fine. The buffet was still there and the fare was good overall except for the pasta which was fairly salty. Their famous layered chocolate cream cake was delicious as always and our iced water tumblers were never empty. The show was absolutely fantastic as always with the exception of the underwhelming jokes. The artists were enthusiastic and had no problem getting us audience members to engage with them. The various song selections were well sung and played and much appreciated by those of us in the audience. The band and vocalists were at the TOP of their game during this Ultimate Hits show! Note: The Elvis impersonator was damned good! A BIG thank you to the band, vocalists and the outstanding staff at The Silver Star! We're looking forward to attending additional shows in the near future!

Green salad, eggs, beets, red onion, croutons, and crackers. Ranch dressing, of course...fresh fruit. Actually a nice salad.

Look, it's not Branson. It's not in the same atmosphere as Vegas...it's Mesa. But it was fun and pretty OK food. Such awesome hostesses and servers. We had a fun date night and are planning to bring the whole family next time and enjoy ourselves again! So yes, I'd recommend the Silver Star Theater. 4 star because the food was average to middlin'. Food: I would say if you're a foodie, this is not the place for you. If you just want something to taste ok and fill you up, you're home Just think high school cafeteria food vibes. The food was nice and hot. The rolls were warm. The salad bar was your average salad bar dressings came in packets. The fruit on the salad bar, I would say, would be your average Costco tub or cut-up fruit. The drinks were served with a smile. The chocolate cake is served at your table before you get there, so if you want to eat dessert first, you're in luck! Service: Everyone was super friendly, and my husband and I were the only brown middle-aged couple there. Our server was nice, and so were the hostesses and other kitchen helpers. Ambiance: I would say the perfect temperature and the lighting was nice and soft. It wasn't a loud crowd, so that was nice. There is also a store, lols. They know their audience!

Coming from Los Angeles we can be real snobs with this subject as we have experienced great theater at places like Disneyland, Upright Citizens Brigade Improve theater and even The Hollywood Bourbon Rooms interactive production of Rock of Ages (sadly ended during COVID). It is wonderful to see this group has sustained for so long and many people rave about it. I even had a client in Los Angeles visiting from AZ tell me he had heard great things about this company, albeit not experienced it before. The show we saw was hosted at Maggiano's Italian Restaurant. The food is in alignment with the restaurant; oversized portions served family style with a limited set menu. That being said, they were able to accommodate my vegan husband and other guests at my table that are gluten free. The theater production takes place before and during your dinner in one of the private rooms at the restaurant. Everyone gets a character name tag so be prepared to be pulled up to participate. It's all a part of the fun. The room hosted about 20 diners/attendees making it an intimate experience. Perfect for all ages and laughs were shared all around. I highly recommend to any local or out of towner to spice up your dinner with this lively and colorful experience.

The theatrics, horses, jousting, costumes, and overall atmosphere made it such a fun experience. I even had a dark pink carnation thrown at me from the red knight which was a cute surprise. The food was okay but honestly you cant come here expecting a 5 star meal, you come for the entertainment and experience. We started with Texas toast and tomato soup followed by corn, half a potato, and chicken. Then we got cake and an eclair for dessert. We did get plastic forks for the cake but everything else you eat with your hands like a true medieval barbarian! Our server was phenomenal! You can also order and pay for other drinks/alcohol drinks before being seated and I got a strawberry slush with whip cream and it was delicious. Got a pretty souvenir cup too. And then you can order alcohol drinks at your seats ad well. I would personally choose this over the Renaissance faire. You can actually sit back and relax and get fed while you watch. My boyfriend and I had such a great time. I definitely recommend it for a fun date night.

The food was great, loved the show and we cheered for our knight so much we had sore throats. The service was great, server came by often delivering food, drink or asking if we needed anything. There is no bad seat in the arena so buy the cheap ticket just to have the experience. You show up to this huge castle and enter through giant doors. They have many working the front of the house so check in goes quickly and then we walked into the large area where you can buy drinks and various souvenirs for children or adults. We had assigned seats so it was very nice not having to rush in to find a seat and there is room between the row below you and above you so much that the server can walk between us. No head obstructs your view which is great for us shorter people. We were served drinks first, then bread and soup, next up was 1/2 a chicken that was moist and flavorful. Next came the corn and potato wedge that were also nicely flavored. Lastly was dessert and because we upgraded we got a second dessert of cake. If you are a light eater, they will give you a to go box. There is a wipe for your hands before you dig in eating with your hands and then a hot towel is brought after dinner. I would definitely recommend and go back again.

I know if I get a seat here every seat in the room is a good seat. They have a very good sound system. I would say the serving staff are all very friendly here. I typically end up getting wine when I have to meet my two drink minimum. However, they do have several cocktail arrangements that you can choose from. What I like is that for each performer they typically will have a specialty cocktail designed around that actual comedian. So I like that approach. I usually like to catch the early show cause the crowd vibe is a little bit chiller. However, I've never had an issue at this establishment and will continue to catch my favorite comedians here. As I do think they extent a diverse roster of comedians. The last time that we attended, we actually ordered some food. And I really enjoyed the wings. I thought they did a really good job on the buffalo wings and the sauce was very tangy and the wings were fried hard as requested. All in all, it's a really good establishment with a parking lot and there are other places to dine and eat, near the establishment.

I know the drill so I ordered as soon as I sat down so I would not disturb other patrons who are there to see the headliner, not the club staff. Where do I start with my annoyance? The $21.95 Nachos or the $8 Diet Coke? My bad, the nachos are only $17.95, the extra $4 was for guacamole. My bill was $41 for just me at a single table. Or my extra annoyance at the waitress at the next table that stood in front of me while Mark Curry was performing? Not only was she blocking my view, she was loud so I couldn't hear some of his set. Like girl, you work here so lower it a few levels and get out the way? Ugh! Unless it's someone I HAVE to see, I won't be back anytime soon. See pics for the overpriced nachos. This location has a full bar in the lobby with many regional beers on tap. You can also order food while in the theater and the friendly servers will bring it to the table between each pair of seats! Wednesdays they have a $5 menu for popcorn, pretzels and more. This is one of few places I can eat popcorn without any digestion issues...not something I can say at the larger rival theaters! The theaters are clean and spacious. While the chairs don't have automated controls to recline, they are large, comfortable and spaced apart so you're not rubbing elbows with the stranger next you. They have a lot of quirky and nostalgic advertisements and videos to watch before the movie starts. You may enjoy these more than your feature film! A few drawbacks are 1) the theaters are smaller than most...so if you're looking to watch a hot new release it may be hard to find seats during prime time. 2) Given the smaller theater, the screen is also on the smaller size. 3) As they deliver food during the movies, you may have workers walking by you often depending your seat choice. Their system isn't foolproof as I had them deliver me food for other people and watch my food go to other people. Overall, if you're looking to avoid the larger theaters and have some older-fashioned fun, this is a great place to visit!

They had an earlier show at 4pm and it made the bday weekend special- yes, aware that sounds old. At 40 and as early-birds... if it doesn't happen before 5- it's a hard pass!! Ironically this was definitely noted in his act having a 4pm show! After parking and getting lost in the parking garage- yeah, we don't make it into the city much but we got a couple flights of stairs in for no apparent reason that would later benefit the additional IPAs we drank during the show ‍ I loved that we got sat right in front next to the stage. Before I go anywhere I look into reviews on Yelp and Google to see the do/donts, and deals/tricks. Yes, plan to get comfy with your neighbor- they sit parties across from one another. As a party of two we sat next to another couple and so on. I'll admit, I'm not a size zero and my husband is 6'5- it was a bit uncomfortable. I can't imagine being on the thicker side or even an elder managing to get out and maneuver around seated patrons to go to the restroom and what not. We knew the two drink minimum would be required so we opt for the beer bucket that included six beers of your choice mix/match accordingly. Worked out great since they had Church Music and we shared an order of wings as we had dinner plans later. Service was great! Our server checked on us multiple times throughout the show. Reviews mention that it gets hot in there since they pack everyone in. It was freezing and I didn't take my jacket.
