The cast made time before, during, and after the show to talk with everyone - ending the night on a terrific note!

The Mystery Mansion Dinner Theater combines big time talent with fabulous small venue vibes that equals a fantastic night for all! No one was left out or put on the spot during this show where the audience participates in this fun murder mystery! There were plenty of smiles throughout the room as the cast engaged with everyone in the audience. It was so much fun! It was great to have the cast take "bribes" from the audience as we tried to figure out this fun whodunnit! The food was fantastic! The courses - yes, I said courses - of delicious bites were impressive. There was so much good food to be had I can promise no one left without a full belly. The cast members were fully engaged as they helped clean up plates during intermission and generously offered to pack up leftovers for anyone who wanted to take food home! You felt like you were at a fun, family dinner without the embarrassing uncle! I would absolutely recommend and return for future shows! I promise you will have a great time while getting in this dinner and show for a fraction of the normal price for this type of entertainment! Book your reservation. You will not regret it. I cannot wait for the next show! Congratulations to this cast on a job well done!!

A TIME WAS HAD! From start to finish, the murder mystery dinner was engaging, entertaining, and so much fun. The cast did an amazing job of getting the audience involved, which made the experience even better. I celebrated my birthday with a group of friends, and they made sure I felt truly special the entire night. Choosing this company for my birthday celebration was the best decision. I can't wait to come back for another performance. Thank you for being so amazing, accommodating, and for making my birthday unforgettable!

We had a such a great time! The actors were so funny and very entertaining. The food was really good as well. I would highly recommend this show for a night of laughs.

We had such a fantastic time! It's a unique show, due to the audience participation, and everyone has fun trying to solve the murder mystery. It was a great evening, as we met other people at our table, and we had a lot of laughs, thanks to the very talented cast. They were in character the minute we walked in the door... And you get a great dinner as well. Our dinner was at Lou Malnati's, and they served two types of pasta, a salad, and a pizza cookie. If you are looking for something different and fun to do, definitely check this out!

We took our three teenage daughters and they loved it. The waiters were great at accommodating all of our dietary needs at Maggiano's. The food was delicious. I called ahead and the cast was willing to make it extra special for one of our kids by including them in the show. Everyone was so kind. We laughed a lot and really enjoyed the evening that will always be remembered.

What an amazing an incredible way to celebrate any special occasion! We had a 30th birthday, they went above and beyond with working with us to get a day to work with our last minute larger party for our special day. They were so accommodating and kind! The event itself was hysterical filled with laughter and entertainment. The the restaurant they chose to host. The event had incredible food Lou Malnati's pizza. They decorated the room on theme and their outfits followed. We had such a wonderful time. First time our party of 16 has ever done something like this, and would recommend anyone who wants something to do with family friends or work that is entertaining and different! 10 out of 10! Thank you again!!!

Thanks for making the pop's 90th birthday celebration special!

Ask the Community - The Murder Mystery Dinner Theater

My husband uses an electric scooter to get around. Is this accessible for that?

Yes there is. Be sure to put this message in the Comments/Requests/ Food Allergies section when booking. Have a safe and happy holiday!

This says dinner theater but your hours are 10am- 7pm. What are the show hours?

The night show starts at 7:30. The doors open at 6:45. It wraps up around 9:30.

What are the vegan options for Oct 21st?

There are always options for Vegans, Vegetarians and Gluten options.

If hard of hearing, will you be able to enjoy? Is there a telecoil loop system or do actors wear mics?

Hello Susan a., there is no telecoil loop system however the actors wear microphones. The majority of performance venues seat between 40 and 70 people and if requested you could be seated next to key performance areas. If you would like to come to…

Are there gluten free options for dinner?

Hello John, yes there are. Also available are vegetarian & vegan.

Is this family friendly? It notates it's good for children, but want to make sure it keeps jokes relatively clean before bringing my kids. I've been to a few similar to this and seen a wide spectrum. Don't want to have to walk out :/

Hi Monica, the language is definitely G rated the kids will have a blast. Rick

The theatrics, horses, jousting, costumes, and overall atmosphere made it such a fun experience. I even had a dark pink carnation thrown at me from the red knight which was a cute surprise. The food was okay but honestly you cant come here expecting a 5 star meal, you come for the entertainment and experience. We started with Texas toast and tomato soup followed by corn, half a potato, and chicken. Then we got cake and an eclair for dessert. We did get plastic forks for the cake but everything else you eat with your hands like a true medieval barbarian! Our server was phenomenal! You can also order and pay for other drinks/alcohol drinks before being seated and I got a strawberry slush with whip cream and it was delicious. Got a pretty souvenir cup too. And then you can order alcohol drinks at your seats ad well. I would personally choose this over the Renaissance faire. You can actually sit back and relax and get fed while you watch. My boyfriend and I had such a great time. I definitely recommend it for a fun date night.

The food was great, loved the show and we cheered for our knight so much we had sore throats. The service was great, server came by often delivering food, drink or asking if we needed anything. There is no bad seat in the arena so buy the cheap ticket just to have the experience. You show up to this huge castle and enter through giant doors. They have many working the front of the house so check in goes quickly and then we walked into the large area where you can buy drinks and various souvenirs for children or adults. We had assigned seats so it was very nice not having to rush in to find a seat and there is room between the row below you and above you so much that the server can walk between us. No head obstructs your view which is great for us shorter people. We were served drinks first, then bread and soup, next up was 1/2 a chicken that was moist and flavorful. Next came the corn and potato wedge that were also nicely flavored. Lastly was dessert and because we upgraded we got a second dessert of cake. If you are a light eater, they will give you a to go box. There is a wipe for your hands before you dig in eating with your hands and then a hot towel is brought after dinner. I would definitely recommend and go back again.

The venue was relatively large compared to other stand up-focused venues I've seen. Despite the space of the room, the seats were very crowded and hard to shift out of long rows of tables and chairs to get up to use the bathroom. Most of the seats was first-come-first serve. We sat pretty close to the front, but I was almost envious of those sitting in the back as they did not have to deal with the cramped table situation. I did end up losing a phone in the club the night of the show. When I noticed the phone was gone later in the evening, I called it and a staff member answered, reassuring me I could pick up the phone at the club. I went the next night and staff helped me out.

My husband and I came here for his birthday to see Steve Byrne…read more We love comedy but we have littles and don't get out much. They had an earlier show at 4pm and it made the bday weekend special- yes, aware that sounds old. At 40 and as early-birds... if it doesn't happen before 5- it's a hard pass!! Ironically this was definitely noted in his act having a 4pm show! After parking and getting lost in the parking garage- yeah, we don't make it into the city much but we got a couple flights of stairs in for no apparent reason that would later benefit the additional IPAs we drank during the show ‍ I loved that we got sat right in front next to the stage. Before I go anywhere I look into reviews on Yelp and Google to see the do/donts, and deals/tricks. Yes, plan to get comfy with your neighbor- they sit parties across from one another. As a party of two we sat next to another couple and so on. I'll admit, I'm not a size zero and my husband is 6'5- it was a bit uncomfortable. I can't imagine being on the thicker side or even an elder managing to get out and maneuver around seated patrons to go to the restroom and what not. We knew the two drink minimum would be required so we opt for the beer bucket that included six beers of your choice mix/match accordingly. Worked out great since they had Church Music and we shared an order of wings as we had dinner plans later. Service was great! Our server checked on us multiple times throughout the show. Reviews mention that it gets hot in there since they pack everyone in. It was freezing and I didn't take my jacket. I would've went back to the car to get it but it's a walk and we got lost on the way in lol. In Arizona businesses overcompensate during the summer and you'll find you wear your jacket more in the summer months inside than during the winter. Parking is free- just make sure you take your ticket with you and they'll scan it. We will definitely be back- yes, drinks are overpriced and tickets were reasonable. As for the show- not bad. Great laughs carried throughout and it's always dependent on the act which should be a separate review from the venue. Looking forward to more date nights in the city for sure!

I still enjoyed my time each time even though we were probably the youngest as someone got my husband and I tickets here for my birthday the past two years. The music was fantastic and we saw the variety show and the Grand Finale show and I enjoyed seeing multiple genres of music. The lead singers and musicians were phenomenal, and I absolutely loved the costume changes. The outfit changes really held my attention and was a great part of the show. The food, however, was just okay. I wouldn't come here for the food alone, but rather for the overall experience and to do something different. The meal included vegetables, potatoes, mashed potatoes, spinach cheese ravioli, chicken Parmesan, pulled pork dish, and a pineapple fish dish. This was the same food both times we went, so I'm not sure if they ever change it, I wish they did for a change. The pulled pork and cheese ravioli were good, but I wasn't a fan of the other dishes. The chicken Parmesan was probably the worst I've had as it wasn't at all what I expected from a traditional chicken parm. Dessert is a slice of chocolate cake that's already at your table when you arrive. I did think it was a nice touch that they pass out foil before the show ends so you can take it home and not waste it. The recommended tip listed on a sign at the table is $5 per person, so in addition to your ticket price, expect to pay at least that much extra. Drinks are also not included, so that's another added cost. Overall, this is a great experience, more so for 50+ and would make a fun gift, especially for a couple looking to do something different. I wish they had a family friendly show where it encouraged families with kids as I could see my kids who love music at 2 and 4 enjoying the show and dancing! I sat about in the middle of the theater and had a good view of everything. I really think most seats will be just fine!

I know if I get a seat here every seat in the room is a good seat. They have a very good sound system. I would say the serving staff are all very friendly here. I typically end up getting wine when I have to meet my two drink minimum. However, they do have several cocktail arrangements that you can choose from. What I like is that for each performer they typically will have a specialty cocktail designed around that actual comedian. So I like that approach. I usually like to catch the early show cause the crowd vibe is a little bit chiller. However, I've never had an issue at this establishment and will continue to catch my favorite comedians here. As I do think they extent a diverse roster of comedians. The last time that we attended, we actually ordered some food. And I really enjoyed the wings. I thought they did a really good job on the buffalo wings and the sauce was very tangy and the wings were fried hard as requested. I was seated directly in front of people who were about 6 feet tall. I'm much shorter, so I literally couldn't see the stage. I was also one of the first people in line, so I politely asked the host if I could move. She told me I could go to the back of the line. I asked for a manager, and about 20 minutes later he came over. I explained the situation nicely and asked if I could see the other tables to see if there was somewhere I could actually see. He kept telling me it didn't matter because the people at those tables were "his height." I asked again if I could just look, and he said, "No, I don't think that's necessary," followed by "I don't need to." When I asked why he was being rude to me, want me to have a bad time , He literally said "That's your choice." Then when I asked for his name, he refused to give it to me. I asked again and he said, "I don't have to do that." I ended up asking a server and the managers name is Micah. I'm literally looking around right now and seeing open seats where we could have been moved. I was trying to be as nice and reasonable as possible, and I honestly don't understand why I was treated this way, I am literally tearing up right now. Micah was extremely unprofessional, and unfortunately I don't think I'll be coming back because of my treatment.

We arrived about a half hour early so we could be seated together. On our last visit, the service was pretty slow, so this time we were hoping to get our drink and food orders in right away to make sure everything arrived before the show started. Our group noticed that the menu prices are definitely on the higher side, but it is what it is. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time. For drinks, we had a mix of beers, wine, and cocktails. For food, we ordered the nachos with no protein, cauliflower bites, wings, and chicken tenders. Our server was really nice, but he definitely seemed overwhelmed. The nachos arrived pretty quickly, well before our drinks, and the chicken tenders came next. The wings and cauliflower bites arrived about 15 minutes later... and we were still waiting on our drinks. Those finally showed up after the wings. I totally understand that it gets extremely busy with everyone trying to get their food and drinks before the show, but we definitely would have preferred to have our drinks arrive before or at least during the beginning of our meal. The nachos were a little difficult to eat because of the way they're served. They come stacked really high on a small rectangular tray. I'm guessing this is designed to save table space since the tables are pretty small, but I think a larger tray where the nachos could be spread out would make them much easier to eat. The wings were great! Our table did half Buffalo and half garlic Parmesan, and it was nice that they were able to split the order between two different sauces. The chicken tenders were just okay and unfortunately weren't very hot when they came out. The comedian was great, and we had so many laughs. One thing we did notice was that the neon sign on the stage was half burned out. Come on, guys!!! Get that fixed! Even the comedian noticed it and made a joke about it during the show. Overall, we really enjoy having a comedy club right here in Desert Ridge. Despite the slower service and a few food issues, it's always a fun evening out with friends. A few tweaks and it could be so much better!

They were nice enough to provide mini water bottles in the line, since it was so hot standing in line outside. We were told to go through Copper Blues for entry, which I had previously not done at the prior show, and asked to just stand there. All the tables were taken, and there was just a huge crowd standing around all these full tables. Waitresses come up to you for a drink order, but when you order from them, it does not count towards your 2 minimum drink order inside the club. There were overserving A LOT of guests. Women were extremely drunk, and a lot of men were becoming aggressive. No organization as to how we were supposed to line up, or stand. A lot of shit talking about people feeling like others were cutting them in line, yet no clear instructions on how to line up if you didn't have a wristband of blue or yellow. Ushered into the comedy room and put in a booth which was nice and close to the stage. Told again about the 2 drink mininum. My spouse and I ordred 1 alchoholic beverage each, and 1 soda each. It was $60.00 before tip.

The taste of food is great, the locations are convenient, and there are some great deals and promotions. We went this weekend to Postino Arcadia for a date night, and like usual, we were quite impressed! We made a reservation in advance on their website, and we were able to sit down without any wait. The host and serving staff were all very helpful and considerate. Being 6:30 PM on a Friday evening, we didn't know if we should expect it to be very busy or quite empty (as it was summertime). It turned out to be moderately busy, and we found a self-parking spot right away in the parking lot. There were more open spots when we arrived than when we left. There are valet options in addition to the self-parking though (but we didn't need them). We met one of the servers and asked for recommendations as we were craving a bruschetta board (four toasts each cut into four pieces) along with a grilled cheese with tomato soup. We knew three of the four bruschetta options we were going to choose but struggled choosing the last one, so the server offered to bring us the one we don't choose to try. We also didn't want bacon on the grilled cheese and asked about a meat substitute. While there was a charge for any additional substitute, we just decided we didn't need the meat in the first place with the bruschetta coming, too. The food was all delicious as usual and arrived rather quickly. We don't know how this location's food and service could be any better! We have signed up for the ePosse and have enjoyed receiving birthday promotions including a free dessert as well as something special for our Postino anniversary. Or instead of Postino, it can be used at other Upward Projects restaurants including Windsor, Federal Pizza, or Joyride Taco. Happy hours are also great daily until 5 PM with $6 wine by the glass or pitchers of beer. On Monday and Tuesday evenings after 8 PM, you can order a full bottle of wine and a bruschetta board for only $25. We love Postino and will be back!!

Hosted an event here and everything was absolutely magical. If you're looking for an intimate event…read morespace in the Arcadia area, this place is worth it. Since it's attached to the Postino restaurant you have access to their kitchen and wine/bar, so you don't have to shop around. Having everything all in one place was so helpful in the planning and pricing of the whole shebang. If you like Postino and you need to host an event, you will LOVE B-Side!
