Unfortunately, the evening was extremely disappointing. We arrived at 6:30 p.m., and the doors opened at 7:00. After we were seated, we waited approximately an hour for our food. My ravioli was so unpleasant that I could not eat it. It tasted like frozen ravioli served with old tomato sauce. Even after dinner was finished, the actual show still had not begun. Meanwhile, a cast member was moving between the tables and interacting very loudly with the audience. We understand that audience participation may be part of the experience, but after the long wait and disappointing meal, it only added to our frustration. By that point, my husband was understandably unhappy, and it was clear that the special evening we had planned was not going to be enjoyable. We therefore made the difficult decision to leave before the show began. We spent a significant amount of money within our limited entertainment budget and chose this event specifically to celebrate an important milestone birthday. We were deeply disappointed that an evening we had anticipated for six months turned out this way.

I've been to Arizona Broadway Theatre twice and I've been impressed both times. Located in Peoria,…read morethis theater seats roughly 100 people or so making for an intimate experience. Parking is easy in the complimentary surface lot adjacent to the venue. Getting seated is just as easy. Compared to other theaters in town, part of what makes ABT different is that you have the option to do the show only or to do dinner and a show. If you do the latter option, you arrive earlier. I've done show only both times but I like that you have the option here. Before or during admission, you can stop by the lobby and pick up a themed cocktail or other beverage. Always a nice touch. The venue is clean, the seats are comfortable, and the performances have been quality. I most recently saw a performance of CATS. Already looking forward to my next performance!

I still enjoyed my time each time even though we were probably the youngest as someone got my husband and I tickets here for my birthday the past two years. The music was fantastic and we saw the variety show and the Grand Finale show and I enjoyed seeing multiple genres of music. The lead singers and musicians were phenomenal, and I absolutely loved the costume changes. The outfit changes really held my attention and was a great part of the show. The food, however, was just okay. I wouldn't come here for the food alone, but rather for the overall experience and to do something different. The meal included vegetables, potatoes, mashed potatoes, spinach cheese ravioli, chicken Parmesan, pulled pork dish, and a pineapple fish dish. This was the same food both times we went, so I'm not sure if they ever change it, I wish they did for a change. The pulled pork and cheese ravioli were good, but I wasn't a fan of the other dishes. The chicken Parmesan was probably the worst I've had as it wasn't at all what I expected from a traditional chicken parm. Dessert is a slice of chocolate cake that's already at your table when you arrive. I did think it was a nice touch that they pass out foil before the show ends so you can take it home and not waste it. The recommended tip listed on a sign at the table is $5 per person, so in addition to your ticket price, expect to pay at least that much extra. Drinks are also not included, so that's another added cost. Overall, this is a great experience, more so for 50+ and would make a fun gift, especially for a couple looking to do something different. I wish they had a family friendly show where it encouraged families with kids as I could see my kids who love music at 2 and 4 enjoying the show and dancing! I sat about in the middle of the theater and had a good view of everything. I really think most seats will be just fine!

Coming from Los Angeles we can be real snobs with this subject as we have experienced great theater at places like Disneyland, Upright Citizens Brigade Improve theater and even The Hollywood Bourbon Rooms interactive production of Rock of Ages (sadly ended during COVID). It is wonderful to see this group has sustained for so long and many people rave about it. I even had a client in Los Angeles visiting from AZ tell me he had heard great things about this company, albeit not experienced it before. The show we saw was hosted at Maggiano's Italian Restaurant. The food is in alignment with the restaurant; oversized portions served family style with a limited set menu. That being said, they were able to accommodate my vegan husband and other guests at my table that are gluten free. The theater production takes place before and during your dinner in one of the private rooms at the restaurant. Everyone gets a character name tag so be prepared to be pulled up to participate. It's all a part of the fun. The room hosted about 20 diners/attendees making it an intimate experience. Perfect for all ages and laughs were shared all around. I highly recommend to any local or out of towner to spice up your dinner with this lively and colorful experience.

The theatrics, horses, jousting, costumes, and overall atmosphere made it such a fun experience. I even had a dark pink carnation thrown at me from the red knight which was a cute surprise. The food was okay but honestly you cant come here expecting a 5 star meal, you come for the entertainment and experience. We started with Texas toast and tomato soup followed by corn, half a potato, and chicken. Then we got cake and an eclair for dessert. We did get plastic forks for the cake but everything else you eat with your hands like a true medieval barbarian! Our server was phenomenal! You can also order and pay for other drinks/alcohol drinks before being seated and I got a strawberry slush with whip cream and it was delicious. Got a pretty souvenir cup too. And then you can order alcohol drinks at your seats ad well. I would personally choose this over the Renaissance faire. You can actually sit back and relax and get fed while you watch. My boyfriend and I had such a great time. I definitely recommend it for a fun date night.

The food was great, loved the show and we cheered for our knight so much we had sore throats. The service was great, server came by often delivering food, drink or asking if we needed anything. There is no bad seat in the arena so buy the cheap ticket just to have the experience. You show up to this huge castle and enter through giant doors. They have many working the front of the house so check in goes quickly and then we walked into the large area where you can buy drinks and various souvenirs for children or adults. We had assigned seats so it was very nice not having to rush in to find a seat and there is room between the row below you and above you so much that the server can walk between us. No head obstructs your view which is great for us shorter people. We were served drinks first, then bread and soup, next up was 1/2 a chicken that was moist and flavorful. Next came the corn and potato wedge that were also nicely flavored. Lastly was dessert and because we upgraded we got a second dessert of cake. If you are a light eater, they will give you a to go box. There is a wipe for your hands before you dig in eating with your hands and then a hot towel is brought after dinner. I would definitely recommend and go back again.

However, that didn't make it any less fun. The actors were enthusiastic, the audience was into it (part of the challenge is figuring out who the cast members are and who is completely innocent!), and the clues kept us searching the entire night. We did successfully pick the killer, although motive was a little more difficult to pin down. The food itself wasn't the greatest - I had the chance to sample the salmon and the pasta, and I'd go with the salmon next time again. The pasta was slightly overcooked penne with what tasted like store-bought marinara on top. That said, you're there for the show, not the food, and the show was hilarious.

I know if I get a seat here every seat in the room is a good seat. They have a very good sound system. I would say the serving staff are all very friendly here. I typically end up getting wine when I have to meet my two drink minimum. However, they do have several cocktail arrangements that you can choose from. What I like is that for each performer they typically will have a specialty cocktail designed around that actual comedian. So I like that approach. I usually like to catch the early show cause the crowd vibe is a little bit chiller. However, I've never had an issue at this establishment and will continue to catch my favorite comedians here. As I do think they extent a diverse roster of comedians. The last time that we attended, we actually ordered some food. And I really enjoyed the wings. I thought they did a really good job on the buffalo wings and the sauce was very tangy and the wings were fried hard as requested. All in all, it's a really good establishment with a parking lot and there are other places to dine and eat, near the establishment.

I know the drill so I ordered as soon as I sat down so I would not disturb other patrons who are there to see the headliner, not the club staff. Where do I start with my annoyance? The $21.95 Nachos or the $8 Diet Coke? My bad, the nachos are only $17.95, the extra $4 was for guacamole. My bill was $41 for just me at a single table. Or my extra annoyance at the waitress at the next table that stood in front of me while Mark Curry was performing? Not only was she blocking my view, she was loud so I couldn't hear some of his set. Like girl, you work here so lower it a few levels and get out the way? Ugh! Unless it's someone I HAVE to see, I won't be back anytime soon. See pics for the overpriced nachos. Edit 8/29/26 Downgraded to 1 star for a response that spent more time berating me than taking my experience as an opportunity to apologize. Larry and Gwen held this show at the beginning of Corona-virus, just as the govt issued warnings of not gathering more than 50 people. The gals I shared the dressing room with were sick from partying in LA and Vegas, one couldn't even make it on stage. Two stars for Larry and his love of music.
