After admiring the immaculately groomed Ruby Cavalier of a fellow dog owner, I inquired about the grooming spot which led me to Chichie's in Georgetown. Witnessing the stunning result of her dog's grooming session, I made a mental note to try out Chichie's for my own tricolor Cavi puppy named Charlie. Upon picking up Charlie after his first grooming appointment, I was truly amazed by the exceptional job done by Arleta. His appearance was transformed into that of a show-worthy dog with fluffy, irresistibly soft fur, making Charlie look like a delightful fluffy ball. Subsequent visits included a hair cut and feathering, resulting in Charlie looking even more beautiful. The unmatched quality of

To my shock, it was the main groomer and owner who performed the trim -- and within seconds, she cut his quick on the second nail, causing him intense pain. From that moment, he developed severe trauma around nail trims. I cannot clip his nails at home, and he now even needs a muzzle at the vet to get it done. It's extremely concerning that the owner herself caused this, especially with a brand-new puppy. I strongly caution anyone with young or sensitive dogs: this groomer is not safe for puppies, and I would never bring a puppy here again

Not only did they arrive promptly at 8:00am but my dog was out and finished in 75 minutes and came inside a perfectly groomed, happy pup. We brought our senior dog and our puppy here for two and a half days of boarding/daycare/grooming…read more Our puppy left pooping blood (not even poop just straight blood) and a knicked ear from her bath and brush. We paid for many extra walks (12 maybe?) and saw our dogs going to the bathroom in the play area multiple times. Our senior dog was throwing up and not eating once our usual sitter picked them up on Saturday. Our puppy, as I said, was immediately pooping straight blood and was very stressed. We came home early from our trip to take our puppy to the vet who needed to be treated and checked out. We always have at home care but needed to use Doozy Dogs in a pickle. What a mistake. We trusted them. I have sent them an invoice from the vet, an email explaining everything as well as a picture of our poor pups bloody butt, as well a phone call to the front. We of course requested a full refund considering this has been so horrific. Haven't even gotten a phone call back from the person who "can approve refunds". We live in the neighborhood and will make sure to spread the word! ^^ this was now two weeks ago, we are still getting our dogs back on track after this visit. More vet visits. And still no contact back from Doozy Dogs! Disgraceful.

I've been looking for a place to take my dog to get groomed. The closest I could get an appointment…read moreduring the holidays was Virginia. Luckily I had heard that my building has grooming services. So I looked into it further found their card at the front desk. I emailed them and received a promo reply. I requested a later grooming as I work. I was offered 4pm appointment. When I arrived they were not ready for my dog so I brought her back down in another 45 as they requested. I didn't want to leave her in cage waiting. That's the good thing about having groomer in the building. Many groomers elsewhere same thing happens and you don't have that flexibility. Although I usually call first to make sure they are not running late. The staff was courteous. They started the grooming at 4:45 and it was over by 6:30. The place I had taken her in Virginia didn't do such a great job and the ears were not plucked so she was in dire need of some real grooming. When I arrived to pick her up she was super happy and alert. She looked and smelled wonderful. And even got a bow. It didn't last long on her hair but she looked adorable. I have a shin tzu and the grooming cost $70 before tip. Just to give you an idea. However, it was well worth it. Suggested you email them in advance because they do fill up quickly. When I brought her home and inspected their work the ears were clean and no hair in there. The pads of the feet were trimmed nicely and the size of the cut I think she said was 5 was excellent. Just right for my pup. I will definitely use them again. Highly recommend upscale grooming!!!

He had never been to a daycare facility before, at least not since we adopted him. I had my doubts as to whether he would gel with the experience. He's very difficult with people he doesn't know, but generally does alright at dog parks and is fine with professionals like vets and groomers, so I figured with another set of professionals he may be alright after all. And to be completely fair, he WAS difficult. They told me had to be wrapped in a towel for anyone to approach him to remove his leash and took a couple hours to actually socialize with any dogs. This guy has to go in for grooms and vet tech appointments monthly where his leash has to come off and while I have no illusions about him being a difficult dog, he is, this is the first I've honestly ever heard that removing his leash was an issue at all. Considering what followed with his return, and that this is a thing that's never come up before, it's left me wondering how much of it was truly Oliver and how much of it was the staff. When he came back to me he was squirrelly and jumping around with a very thick gauge rope around his neck. As he has severe tracheal collapse, this is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable, as anything that pulls at his neck can exacerbate his condition, or worse, completely cave in his trachea, killing him. The staff member that brought him out admitted she was new here but said that nobody from the AM shift said anything about his severe tracheal collapse, nor was she aware of it being noted in his online profile (it's absolutely a thing I made a note of, along with his medicinal schedule to treat him for this disease). She informed me that he would not be a good fit for their facility. Fair enough. An evaluation is exactly that, and if he doesn't gel I'm not obligated to their services. If that's all it was, I wouldn't be here writing a review. Instead I wanted to offer a warning for any pet owners that may have a dog with severe medical issues or concerns to consider going elsewhere where staff may be more sensitive and attentive and not outright dangerously negligent. That he's not a good fit for Playful Pack, I say the feeling is mutual.
