    All I can say is-WOW! I am truly blown away by the creativity and detail of this company. I placed an online doggy cake order for my dog's birthday (yes, I know I sound insane) and it came out great. They send you an email confirmation after filling out the form, and call when it's ready. They have a cute store on South Lamar with limited parking. Tons of goodies in the store, will definitely be back for all dog related treat orders.

    Sadie, our family member, was very impressed w wonderful Ashley and the staff at this Austin hotspot for pet spa and culinary experience! Highly recommended folks!

    Charlie does a great job with doodles. I'm really particular about how we get his hair cut and I love that he's in and out in 1.5 hours at the most. Highly recommend Barkin' Creek for a bath and quick cut with Charlie.

    Allie did an amazing job grooming my dog, Charlie! We've been to many grooming salons all over Austin & you can really tell they care at Barkin' Creek. He looks and smells so good! We'll definitely be back.

    UPDATE: Tried contacting owner and owner got defensive and claimed my partner was another person who left a bad google review for him as well. And then threatened to post our communications online. So decided I would post it here for him. OP: I had been coming here for two years and have been paying a lot for his haircuts. However the customer service I experienced today was absolutely atrocious. I made this reservation weeks ago and I have an Australian Shepherd who needs a haircut bad. I was late today. For my appointment but I walked in around 18 minutes after and they told me they would no longer have time to do a full haircut because it was after 15 minutes. They wouldn't budge and insisted that they wouldn't be able to fit him in still. Despite it taking weeks to get in and literally hours to do a haircut. They kept trying to say "we have a salon style schedule" but I still don't see how this could throw everything off by that much. No longer coming here rude customer service. Wasted my time today and now I'm having to find a new groomer. I've never even posted a review on here before and they were so bad I felt the need to get on here. The fact that I have been coming here for two years and they weren't willing to work with me to make sure my dog gets a full service haircut that he needs just goes to show that they do not care about your pet they only care about money. But then again maybe they don't care about money too much if they aren't willing to work with me so I can spend money for a full-service cleaning I guess they just have terrible customer service.

    I honestly LOVED this place the first time I went. The first groomer my puppy Gryffin had was amazing. She took her time to ensure his fur was all trimmed away and even. Sadly, she no longer works here. The second time I brought Gryffin here, his new groomer kept his face fur really long while his body super short. I asked for a teddy bear cut and she did not give him it. I wasn't satisfied with the service, so they told me I could bring him back the next day. I showed the groomer how the first cut was. She brought gryffin back and his face fur was cut extremely short. As Gryffin's fur began to grow back a little, he gained 2 permanent cowlick in between his ears. I honestly have no idea how that happens. The more his fur began to grow. The more you can tell that the cut was not even around the face. Highly disappointed. I paid almost $100 just for a shitty cut. There is still one more groomer Gryffin hasn't gone to yet at this location. If they also disappoint, I will be taking Gryffin to a new groomer. I definitely don't want to change since the staff is nice, but the cut was terrible and she didn't seem enthusiastic about her job...

    Claudia Miranda is such a sweet person. She is the only groomer that my malti-poo likes to have groom her. She always does an excellent job on my pup. My sister prefers Claudia to groom her 2 dogs too.

    We took our lab, Houston, here yesterday. The staff were extremely polite and knowledgeable and took great care of Houston. We were running a little late because of traffic and they said not to worry at all and to drive safely. The facility was very clean and Houston loved their fried chicken treat. Super easy picking him up - they just send a text when he's ready (which was exactly when they said he'd be ready). He's shedding a lot at the moment and they got rid of lots of hair and he smells great. They even put a cute neckerchief on him!

    Horrible! Where do I start... The first time we brought our golden doodle they charged us $150 for nothing. They didn't give him a sanitary trim, they only gave him a bath. They said they gave him a trim but I had to take him back two weeks later for a cut because his hair was longer than he needed to have it for the summer. The groomer we took him to the second time told us that his nails and hair should not be like that after coming in two weeks prior. I went back a second time because I wanted to give them another try so I asked for a different groomer. Kelsey groomed him the second time. First she quoted me 150 then when we paid she tried to charge us 200 and then lowered it to 150 after we reminded her of her quote. The other guy in the reception area was extremely rude the entire time we were there! They told us to pick him up at 6:30 and then kept extending the time. My dog is really chill and he couldn't get out of that place fast enough! The worst part about the second experience was that Kelsey didn't tell us that SHE CUT OUR DOGS EAR when we picked him up. We get home and I notice he is scratching his ear and I check it and it's all cut up!!! My fiancé called and spoke to the manager and she couldn't care less, she said she would refund us half of the cost for the grooming but we should have complained earlier (the first visit). In short, don't take your dog there, they are horrible, dishonest, rude, and negligent!

    I wish I could give negative stars. This has been super aggravating and ruined my morning. I was told 7 mins before his appt that they were running an hr late since previous appointments needed more time and that caused our appt to be pushed back. How's that my problem? They should've allotted the proper time. What's insane is the company requires 48 hrs notice to reschedule or cancel, or you'll be charged but they don't grant you the same courtesy.(also must have your card on file) Insane. I'm actually quite mad. I canceled. I better not be charged a cancelation fee or this will be an immediate dispute w my credit card company. I've attached a screenshot of the lame text I received 7 mins before my scheduled appt. After reading other reviews, this seems to be a reoccurring issue with the same groomer, Kayla. Since reading other reviews, I'm grateful to have canceled this appt after reading reviews of them leaving cats and pups with bloody paws and being returned wet. Do yourself a favor and do not make an appt with this company. Find someone else who is reliable.

Our old groomers no longer seem to work here, but we still rave about the kindness and care the team showed our pups back in 2021. 2026: Our new pup arrived to us covered in mats so severe I had to trim some myself, leaving him a bit uneven. We scheduled a grooming session but didn't realize he would be receiving a "first-time puppy cut," which is different from a full grooming appointment. I completely understand the difference, but I wish I had been informed upfront, as I was expecting a full-body cut--especially at the price we paid. A month later, we tried a different groomer, Ivy, after seeing a Goldendoodle cut on their Instagram that we loved. She did an amazing job! As a reminder, per most pet grooming policies, all dogs must have up-to-date vaccines before their appointment. Additionally, there is now a late pickup fee if you arrive more than 30 minutes after your pet's session is completed.

They performed a token search, but said they couldn't find her belongings. The groomers were new, but they should have owned up to what happened to our dog's collar and necklaces. I don't know what is going on here, but we will never go to Wolfgang again after this bitter and unexplainable experience. Please be careful if use them for your dog!!!!!
