Matcha latte hot. Oat milk
Tracy K.

I had ordered hot matcha latte with oat milk and extra matcha. My sister had ordered for me and she said the cashier was so nice to check the bag to make sure there was no milk powder in the matcha powder. There wasn't. I am allergic to dairy. I thought the drink was okay. She said she got her drinks in a timely manner.

Came in for matcha and iced coffee after our Mexican brunch next door. Place is open and cozy. I ordered my usual matcha latte with oat milk unsweetened and it was a very good matcha. Service was friendly and fast!

I loved this place. They have a nice, chill vibe inside. Perfect for remote work, homework or catching up with friends. Their cold drinks cups are the cutest! I'll definitely be back!

8 oz Cappuccino (Hot,1S)

I was craving a cappuccino, so I stoped into Bark Coffee to try out a place that's not a chain coffee shop. Trying to shop small and local. Bring your laptop. The ambiance is very laptop friendly. And you can get work done while waiting for your order. The service here is SLOW. I waited 15 minutes for my cappuccino and it wasn't that crowded. I do think they were tying to train a new hire, but even taking that into consideration I was getting irritated. That is, until I tasted my coffee. It's straight out of coffee heaven. Perfection! I do hope they get their staffing fixed. It could become my favorite coffee shop. Easy streets parking. Contemporary coffee shop decor.

Bark Coffee is a total gem. Really underrated. There's not one single thing I can say about this place. Quality coffee, pastries, great prices, large space to get some work done, friendly staff. I want nothing more than to see this place thrive.

Matcha ice latte is delicious. The prices are decent they are not expensive. I bought it for 6.00.

Love the service that I get. You can come by to do homework, study, a date, or hang out with friends. The prices are decent I bought my matcha latte for $6.00. Wifi is provided. Right next door is Kalaveras when you get hungry later on.

Ample seating space, simple menu, pastries, coffee, tea. The ambience is giving book store coffee shop. It's quiet and people are reading and on laptops. The only negative is there's an added charge for half and half and syrups for your coffee.

Love their matcha latte! Prominent matcha flavor. Glad that they have so many milk alternatives to choose from. It's suuuuper quiet inside the cafe, so it's great for study. Kinda awkward to chat here since it feels like I would be disturbing others lol. Very spacious inside and they have cute dog murals! Great service. I would come back!

Cute mural!

Great shop, good coffee. I appreciate the seating and decent atmosphere to study and hang out. I met a friend for coffee here and we enjoyed our drinks. Staff was kind and efficient with drink turn out.

Best coffee in Whittier! Prices are affordable compared to other coffee shops. I always get an iced coffee with half & half and salted caramel. 10/10

The toasted almond mocha with 75% sugar from the specialty latte menu was really good. Inside the cafe, there's plenty of seating, and the pastry selection looked fresh. The service was fast.

Cold Vanilla Chai Latte with an extra shot

Bark Coffee is an excellent place to study, work, or hang with people. They have plenty of tables and seating. I got an iced chai latte with an extra shot and it was great. They offer plenty of coffee options and lots of non-caffeinated drinks as well. The staff were polite and service was prompt. They are also a dog friendly space and we were able to bring a four-legged companion.

Their drinks are fine. Nothing worth writing home about. You can't name a place BARK and then not let dogs in... Very disappointing.

LFTD recently made an announcement that they are being evicted by their landlord and will close…read moredown this brick-and-mortar location by the end of this year (December 29th, 2025). A week before the announcement was made, I came here to try their famous blue tortilla breakfast burrito. [Parking]: There's a free public parking structure located one block away from the coffee shop (6738 Comstock Ave, Whittier, CA 90601). [Atmosphere]: Super crowded on Sunday & I was not able to find a place to sit. I ultimately ordered my breakfast burrito to-go. They also have a section of cafe that sell vintage clothing. [Menu]: For the signature breakfast burrito, they actually have 6 options - classic breakfast burritos (bacon - $16.50), Prime Steak (grass-fed prime steak $20.50), the Ultimate Burrito (grass-fed prime steak + avocado + bacon), Chilaquiles ($15.50), Chorizo ($16.00), and Vegan ($16.00). They also sell their cold brew cafe de olla in giant plastic bags that look like IV drip bags at the refrigerated section. [Ordering]: Customers can order at the cashier counter or order via kiosk (they use Toast). I reviewed their breakfast burrito options at 12 PM and they ran out of classic breakfast burrito. I ended up with prime steak breakfast burrito instead. Unfortunately I waited 45 minutes before they had my order ready and I could tell other customers were not too patient with their orders as they kept walking up to the pick-up counter & checked the ordering status. *** Prime Steak Breakfast Burrito (grass fed prime steak, scrambled egg, Monterey Jack cheese, crema, pico de gallo, tri-colored peppers, hash browns - $20.50): Unlike other breakfast burrito I have had at other places, this breakfast burrito had blue tortilla. The portion was a bit smaller than I expected, but chewy steak + crispy hash browns + roasted peppers + red salsa = one delicious and s-tier tasting breakfast burrito. *** While LFTD serves one of the best 5-star worthy breakfast burritos I have ever had in LA + Orange County, I have to take off a star due to extremely long wait time on food order. Please do yourself a favor and place an online order at least 30 minutes ahead of time if you want to try their breakfast burritos ( https://www.toasttab.com/local/order/lift-6701-greenleaf-ave ).

While there were quite a few orders in front of me, the barista worked hard to make sure my drink was made. I did wait about 15 minutes for my coffee but I was worth the wait. I ordered an iced horchata latte. The latte itself had a good balance of flavor and is perfect for someone who does loves caffeine, but not the overbearing coffee flavor. Ethnos is located in the flower market, so it can get busy on weekday and weekend mornings. We did not have to wait in line, but did wait for our coffee. There was only 1 barista working, but he did a fabulous job. Ethnos is a MUST try place in the flower market. Enjoy a nice latte while buying beautiful flowers!

It was a very hot and sunny, so I got the an iced salted caramel latte. This was on the sweeter side, but exactly what I needed to survive the heat. Fingers crossed that they continue to come back! That said, once we finally reached the window, the experience turned around. We ordered an iced banana horchata latte and a regular iced horchata latte, and both drinks were worth the wait. The horchata flavor was smooth and well-balanced, not overly sweet, with a nice cinnamon note that complemented the coffee instead of overpowering it. The banana version added a subtle, natural sweetness that made it feel a little more unique without being artificial or heavy. Even with the long line, the quality of the drinks stood out.
