It's near the Mobileland and Coway stores. When I first visited around the early summer of 2022, they were starting to set up their space and curate their assortment of items available. Initially it had smaller items in terms of beauty, food, and home goods, but recently they've begun to offer things like a proper Korean BBQ charcoal grill table for the home. Staff have always been polite and friendly whenever I've stopped in to wander around. Yesterday I was interested in the face masks they sell individually and a set of gel nail stickers with unique artwork on them. The girl who helped me shared that she used the masks and had no issues with them reacting badly to her skin. I picked up one mask and the nail stickers and noticed they had a promotion going on where if you follow their Instagram, they let you spin the wheel for a free prize. I won a packet of collagen supplement that can be consumed with or without a liquid or meal. In terms of parking, you can find spots in the connected structure for The Source OC.

The customer service has typically been friendly and helpful, which is why this visit stood out. After paying for my purchase, I realized none of my items had been bagged. I asked the cashier for a bag after the transaction was complete, and she informed me that bags cost $0.10. I had no issue paying for a bag--I was simply caught off guard because I'm accustomed to being asked during checkout whether I would like to purchase one. Since the transaction had already been completed, I was told it would require a separate purchase. My mother was checking out immediately after me, so she asked the cashier to add the bag to her transaction instead. After placing the bag on the counter and handing my mother her receipt, the cashier began pulling out her cash drawer as if she was closing her register and preparing to leave. At no point did she make any effort to bag either of our purchases. This was especially disappointing because I was shopping with my toddler and my elderly mother. A small gesture of customer service, such as helping bag our items, would have made a significant difference. When I asked to speak with a manager, the cashier stated that she intended to bag our items after getting the change. However, from my perspective, our transaction had already ended, she had handed us our receipts, and she was preparing to leave the register. That explanation did not reflect what had actually occurred. I rarely leave reviews, especially for a store I genuinely enjoy shopping at, but this experience was very different from the level of service I've consistently received over the years. I hope this feedback is taken as an opportunity for coaching so future customers continue to receive the excellent service I've come to expect from HomeGoods.
