Our builder used this company for our mirrors, shower door, bath accessories and closet systems. They installed a towel ring with long screws that gouged the pocket door in the bathroom. The guy who they sent to fix it had a 4 hour window to show up and he was late with no phone call that he was running late. Within 3 weeks of being in the house the closet system in true master closet ripped out of the wall and fell. We were told they would on fix it this time at no charge but next time we would have to pay. They said the closet racks had weight limits, which I assumed but no one can tell me the max weight. And with an 8x12 closet with long racks they know it will be full of clothes so why would they not install extra supports to support the weight of clothes? Overall very poor products, poor installation detail and subpar customer service. read more

I wouldn't hire this company. Our builder only uses them to replace/repair shower installations. They don't communicate appointment times nor do they keep them. We've wasted 4 full days waiting around for them to show for appointment, 8-12 or 12-4. We expect the work completed in that window not simply to show up at 11:50 for 4:15 to get started. read more

This is the company our builder Taylor Morrison used for our frameless shower door. There had to be title repair done and they came and removed the door 9' 6/29. All went well and the guys told me they would be back 7/2 to allow the tile to set and then reinstall the door. I told them I work from home and would be available anytime for them to come back. They said they would call 7/1 to confirm. I told them not to do that because they had my husbands number and he works nights and sleeps days so he would not be able to answer and confirm and they said ok. Yesterday they called my husbands phone to verify and obviously no one answered and after the third attempt they left a voicemail and said they moved our appointment to reinstall the door to 7/6 so we are now out a shower door for this weekend and by the time they come back it will be a week without a usable shower. My husband called and they basically said the oh well sorry attitude so I called and they now say it's not because they couldn't confirm but it's because they don't have time in their schedule which I can't understand because the guy that was here removing the door on 6/29 showed me his paperwork and it has a return date of 7/2 for the reinstall. So they planned on the reinstall, the guy had the paperwork for the reinstall but now conveniently after they couldn't make contact with us they have no room in their schedule for us and they never did??? Hmmmmm.... why didn't they call us right away to reschedule??? They didn't do it I until the day they were due to confirm and couldn't??? Hmmm... does that sound right. Why can't companies do the right thing anymore. I've reached out to our builder for assistance and they are trying to assist, at least they are trying to do the right thing! read more

Have used Barefoot for closets and shower doors on the past two homes we've owned. The service has always been excellent! I like that someone will come out and look at the closet and design what is best for the space. The prices are extremely reasonable! Would definitely recommend Barefoot! read more

I called three times to get someone to come out and give and estimate for replacement windows, and it took over a week and a half for the correct person to call me back. I cannot remember dealing with a more poorly operated and managed business than Barefoot & Company. Very poor customer service. Their internal communication and customer tracking seems to be awful, as every time I called to find out the status of my service call/quote, they were unable to tell me the status without extended delays. Barefoot & Company does not seem to want my business, as evidenced by the lack of phone calls and response to my basic questions. I called the warranty dept. a few days ago and got the answering machine......Get this..The lady I was trying to reach tell me to leave a message and she will try to get back to me in 48 HOURS.
