I was never big on burgers (veggie kind) until recently especially when it's paired with a delicious perfectly battered onion ring. Bareburger makes my favorite onion ring, with many sauces to choose from for your dipping pleasure. I have paired the onion ring with my favorite vegetarian burger called My Sunshine made of sweet potato, kale & wild-rice patty topped with avocado, organic baby kale, alfalfa sprouts, cucumber, roma tomato and a delicious spicy green goddess. The other favorite is called Cilantro Black bean made of black bean poblano patty topped with avocado, pickled red onion, roma tomato, mixed greens, and a really great garlic vinaigrette. It was just me and the waitress (plus the cooks), I ordered a lemonade that took 25 minutes and for me to ask a second time to get to me. It's not like she was so busy she forgot she just never brought it and then when I had to ask for it the second time it took an additional 15 minutes to get to me. She was actually doing nothing so it was really confusing. The food on the other hand came out within five minutes of ordering. The wagyu cheeseburger from the happy hour was tasty, definitely the shining moment of this place. The side salad that I got was full of sad salad. The lettuce was all dirty. You could actually see it on the cucumber in my photo, but it was like clumps of dirt. Underneath the top layer, all of the lettuce was old and kind of mush so that was a waste and I didn't eat it. It took an additional 10 minutes from asking for the receipt to pay. You could have the best cheap cheeseburger in the area, but I wouldn't come back because of the sad service. read more

This place has really gone downhill and I don't really know what happened. The past two times I was here, the food was just not as good as it used to be. I wanted to try something new and got a spicy Philly. What I received was about four slices of shaved beef, spicy sauce and cheese. It literally looked like a sauce sandwich. I honestly couldn't believe that the server felt confident serving this to me. I did have it sent back in another one was made, which had plenty more meat, but the fact that the first sandwich was even served the way it was kind of blew my mind. I recently visited again and noticed that their menu has changed. The burgers are now 6 ounces instead of 4 with no option to double, and the single 6 ounce patty cost almost as much as a double with 2 4 ounce patties used to cost. I'm disappointed to see that another restaurant is prioritizing profit while squeezing portion sizes smaller. In addition, the taste is just no longer there. The burgers used to be very juicy and flavorful, now they are flavorless and gray. My friend did tell me that they aren't as good as they used to be and now I have seen it for myself. The staff always seem bored - they're not unfriendly, but it seems like they are there doing the bare minimum. A couple of them I have legitimately never seen smile. But we went in and asked if they have anything a vegetarian could eat and were told "Plenty! But technically we can't open until 12 noon." So we waited outside for a few minutes and then went back. Got a lovely table inside but adjacent to the open door/window. The menu is more varied than I thought! Yes, assorted variations on beef burgers, but also a fake meat burger (Impossible or Beyond, I forget which), a sweet potato burger, and a black bean burger! You can get it as described on the main menu, but you can also "build your own," choosing a protein, a bread, 3 veggies toppings (more for an up charge) such as jalapeños, lettuce, tomatoes, pickled onions..., plus a cheese. We had fun building our own! Teen had the sweet potato burger on brioche and whatever toppings he wanted. We each had the black bean burger on the excellent multigrain bun, with our individual choices of toppings. Ketchup and mustard are on the table. I had an unsweetened iced tea, and they brought a bottle of very cold water to the table, quite refreshing. Service is friendly and helpful, food was really unexpectedly good, prices reasonable. After getting really good bison cheeseburgers there about a month ago...A to go order, my husband and I decided to get a delivery order last night. And let me just say... We are not people who do this normally , but we felt robbed! With the prices you pay for food now, you should be able to expect a certain amount of consistency. Bareburger! Am I the last person to try bare burger? Probably so. I finally got a chance to stop in. I am not familiar with their format. I thought the place was a bar! My kids quickly set me straight when I sent them photos. I ordered, sat down and my meal came out perfectly cooked and looked absolutely amazing. Almost picture perfect (see photo). I have eaten at comparable restaurants (fuddruckers, Jackson hole etc). I rate it well above average. The meat was just cooked perfectly and the bun was absolutely right/soft. Dined in during Covid! Great service, speed, and flavor. They have outdoor dining thats pretty well separated from the pedestrian sidewalk. You can also sit inside with the standard social distancing between neighbors. You order at the front and they bring it to your table. We ordered the blazing bacon and the supreme burger. The supreme was stacked and the onion rings were crispy and delicious. The blazing bacon was a a little greasy with the bacon and meat but it added tremendously to the flavor. The spice from the peppers and habanero sauce was the perfect kiss of heat. Overall im very satisfied with the size of the beer, the flavor of the food, and the price of the experience. Some Cons though: the burgers dont come with fries. If they had mentioned to us while we were ordering we wouldve added them on. Also there werent any hand sanitizers tableside, only at the front. You have to approach the counter to ask for stuff instead of someone coming around to see if you need refills, napkins, ketchup, etc. My boyfriend and I stopped by for brunch on a Sunday and asked if we could sit down at a table. We scanned our phones on the QR code to view the menu but ordering wasn't very straightforward. I went up to the counter to ask if we can still substitute for a collard wrap instead of a bun and they no longer offer that option. When adding items to your table to order, you have to create an account and go through the steps before ordering. It took a few minutes but I felt it was a hassle. There wasn't an option to combine all our items into one order for our table either. Bare burger is hands down one of the most welcoming restaurants I've ever been to with extraordinary customer service.
