Despite it being a Sunday afternoon with a pretty decent crowd, it didn't take long at all for a walk-in appointment, just enough time to wander the clothes. The store was also super clean and we were greeted with nothing but smiles from every employee we encountered. As for the shoe shopping, if you can get in with Jake, you're 1000% in excellent hands! He went through the usual foot scan process and explained the results in detail, followed up by several recommendations, both from the provided scan results and his own personal recommendations. I was just looking for good walking shoes so nothing too crazy, but he still took great care in finding a great fit for me and making sure I was completely satisfied with my final pick. He also remembered helping my family before and was able to easily help out with some recommendations to the rest of my group who already had recent scans while I was testing out a few pairs of shoes he pulled. I really appreciated that he wasn't too pushy on making the sale and really wanted us to love what we were leaving with and actually encouraging us to come back within the 30 day window if there were any problems after trying them out for a bit. So far though, great fit! I will definitely be back when I'm ready for my next pair!

Last month I was in Sacramento while I had too much ground time for shopping. It's a good thing Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse is so convenient to my hotel and is located at Sacramento Gateway. I've walked through the entire men's section looking at both sneakers, a few work shoes that I didn't really care for, there was a few Dr. Martens that caught my attention, a few pairs of Nike, and a whole bunch of slippers that have been trending. They also have a bunch of shoe accessories, duffel bags, sneaker cleaners, and when I signed up for their points system program, I'd receive a $10 off my next time purchase. Price is right.

Bc my wife retired from working at the Med Center & basically can only wear good supportive shoes due to her plantar fasciitis, neuromas, flat feet, high arches & osteoarthritis in her knee. Yup! Ever since the Walking Store closed their doors she needed to find a local shoe store where she can try on shoes IN PERSON!!! They have been closed for over 4 years though they are online only. Online sucks for her. She needs to try on shoes in person. She prefers to buy shoes close by to home. Unfortunately Nordstrom's closed their doors at Arden. We could probably go to the Rack. Nawww not the same service. Dan basically gave my wife personal service! She got spoiled here! Dan even brought out shoes from the back not shown out on display in the shoe store. There were a few styles she never heard before and needed to try them on in the store. They even sell Hokas & Aetrex here! She was so HAPPY & totally in SHOE HEAVEN! Woohoo! The reasoning behind only getting four out of five stars is due not to the managers or associates but because the store itself is tiny. This meaning less stock, less brands and ultimately less selection. But if I'm any example; small things often hold the best treasures. One thing that always makes me laugh is there seems to be some kind of police activity going on here pretty often. Nothing crazy today though -- it looked like someone was buying an absolute boatload of shoes, so I'm assuming the situation was simply "too many sneakers, not enough boxes." The service has generally been good whenever I've stopped in, and I completely understand that being a discount store means inventory is going to be hit or miss. But if I could ask for one thing, it would be more variety in the kids' section, especially for boys. With school season here, I've been checking in pretty regularly, and it seems like the little guys don't always get the same selection. I can usually find something, but I'd love to see more sizes, styles, and options for the boys. Other than that, it's a solid Nike outlet. Good location, good service, and you never really know what deal you're going to find when you walk through the doors. That's half the fun of shopping at a discount store anyway! I love Nike, so obviously I'll be back -- just hoping the next visit has some deals for the little guys!
