I've brought many friends, family and coworkers there as well to give 5.11 business. But let me tell you! I don't know what happened to this store and how they pick their staff now, but they are absolute trash. Ever since the old store manager left this store has hired the worst people and the store always looks like crap. The old manager had this location looking good, fully stocked and her team was on point and very professional. They lost the true face of 5.11 on that one. I recently went to this 5.11 location on Friday March 28th with my family to see if things changed and I was reminded for the final time why I will NEVER return again. The guy in the front said something when we walked in and never said another peep or offered to assist with anything at all the whole time we were there. That's not even what bothered me. What made me absolutely livid was when the female worker blew my father off mid-sentence when he was asking her a question about their sale and said "It just depends" with a snarky attitude and TURNED HER BACK ON HIM AND WALKED TO THE BACK OF THE STORE. I almost lit her up. I'm done with 5.11 once and for all and I know deep down many others are as well. Shame on this company for allowing such people to work there and for allowing such an environment.

We ended up buying a couple of small items and 2 outfits for our daughter, but being as it is still Nordstrom's, I found a lot of items were pretty pricy. I did like looking through all of their items though and would definitely come back, but I think my budget prefers Home Goods and TJ Maxx. This location is actually a lot cleaner and more organized than other locations which was nice! It is located off of Marconi Ave in the same shopping center as Trader Joe's and Five Below. They had a ton of wrapping paper and lots of great items for stocking stuffers and White Elephant gifts. I love finding random items that I never knew I needed! I bought around 8 items for under $60 so it was definitely a good deal! Staff were friendly and the check out line moved quickly!

The place does get crowded, especially on the weekends. Parking feels a bit limited, but of course, a public lot is never under the store's control. The price is reasonable. And the staff, if on hand, are very helpful...trying to be cheerful on crowded, busy days. There's a lot to see, so be prepared to spend an hour or more during your visit. They told her that they would only hold them for 30 minutes and after that they would have to return them to the shelf, which I found absolutely absurd because most, if not all stores will hold until closing at least. I called the store to let them know what time I would be there and they still refused to hold them any longer than 30 minutes. I will never shop at this location again.
