Bardot spinach, pear, feta, walnut salad, iced tea, and cosmopolitan Grey Goose

Without fail Bardot restaurant located at 206 W. Bonita Ave has impressed us again. Today they were a little busy, but nevertheless, the staff and the major D are completely accommodating when we arrive. We only get smiling faces. They're so wonderful to us. We got the table that we wanted and the food is absolutely exquisite. The salmon, the Seabass, the filet mignon in the appetizers are amazing. This is our staple go to place Only. We want a really home-cooked style meal on another level. This is a five star restaurant and the chef takes his culinary expertise very serious. Not just the food, but what keeps us coming back is the amazing team at this restaurant they are personable and they are wonderful and they have great personalities. This is a breath of fresh air. If you're going on a first date or if you have family in town or if you just wanna sit down by yourself and have a really great lunch brunch or dinner put bar Bardot restaurant at 206 W. Bonita Ave. in Claremont on your radar! Bardot get my five star Yelp review and my personal recommendation! Bon appétit!

Excellent duck tacos and French onion soup. Excellence in service with great people running the place. So much great food on the menu. I highly recommend this place.

I love all the eateries in Claremont but Bardot is one of the favorites. Super cute patio dining area for dining al fresco or a more intimate dining indoors. Our brunch was data stick and Emilio our server was friendly, attentive and gave great service! Perfect spot for a girls day, date night or group gathering. Must try the Oscar Benedict! Superb!

My friend said this was the best meal he's had in a long time! The lamb was perfectly cooked and well-seasoned! My friend said the min jelly was good, and the mashed potatoes were buttery! I had the portobello sandwich, which was so fresh! The burrata was amazing! We both thought the truffle fries were too subtle and the garlic aioli didn't have much flavor, but at least they were crispy and not oily! Service was wonderful :) We had chosen to have the first-available table and were informed we would be seated at a high-top, but they actually upgraded us to a nice outdoor table with a great view! Our waiter was helpful with recommendations for how to cook the lamb, and said he would choose the slightly more rare option so they could cook it more according to our tastes (it ended up being perfect!) A server came to refill our waters right before we needed! Wait time on a Saturday night at 6pm was about 30-45 minutes, which wasn't too bad!

I ate at Bardot years ago, and had a good experience. We returned to have a little afternoon bite to eat and a round of drinks. Bardot is located in downtown Claremont, right on a corner. We were able to easily find a parking spot on the street right around the corner. Parking can be more of a challenge during prime time. They have a real nice covered outdoor patio, two different dining areas inside, and seating at the bar. We were greeted by a very friendly host who seated us immediately in a booth per our request. It was a nice surprise to see that they still have a special Christmas cocktail menu in effect. I had the Rhub The Right Way (Vanilla Cream Cheese Vodka, Rhubarb Liqueur, Cinnamon Vanilla Syrup, Strawberry, Lemon, Egg White, Graham Cracker Rim, $18). The vanilla and strawberry flavors stood out to me with some creaminess. It has a nice level of sweetness ,and it definitely drinks more like a regular cocktail, than a desert drink. The bartender stopped by to see if I liked it since it was his creation. I definitely enjoyed it. She had the Under The Mistletoe (St. George Spiced Pear Liqueur, Vanilla, Cinnamon Syrup, Champagne, Soda Water, Glitter, Cranberries, Rosemary, $18). This was light and refreshing, and not overly bubbly. The champagne, pear, and cinnamon flavors were noticeable. The Goat Cheese Lollipops ($14) definitely caught our eye on the appetizer menu. The plate comes with four panko crusted lollypops on a bed of honey and roasted almonds. The goat cheese has a nice tang, and the sweetness of the honey pairs with it perfectly. The panko crust and almonds give a nice little crunch. We also had the Crab Cakes ($24). The crab cakes were good. We added a little salt on top which made them a little better. They come with a pretty good sized serving of coleslaw on top for some freshness. Our server, Roger, was very friendly and provided good service. We told him we were just hanging out enjoying the afternoon and in no rush, and he checked in on us just the right amount.

Went here for a birthday. Surprisingly enough you can get happy hour from wherever you sit. And each week night has a special theme. We happened to be there on taco Tuesday. I didn't grab many photos since this was an event and not so much a dinner exploration. Our service was phenomenal and I would go back for that alone. Drinks were great and I only grabbed half our parties entrees. I also had a bowl of clam chowder which was thinner than expected but very good none the less.

Been coming here for years... These days im a sit at the bar and get a Paloma made. Bartenders are always very cool and full of conversation if it permits. They read the room well. Scallops were cooked perfectly, flavors are almost required and fresh. Usually other places will take a rich tasting approach and I always love how they have balanced this with their particular style of scallops. All in all it's still a great go to place in the area.

Today was Mothers Day. This is one of my favorite restaurants and the experience today was mid at best. The food took an extremely long time. The table next to use ordered the same time as us, they received their food and were almost finished before our waitress came over and jokingly said oh you ate all your food already. Once she checked said the fries is what made the order delayed. When I received my order the fries were incorrect and the server grab the fries off my plate and walked away. Our server checked on us one time through out our meal, the check was not brought to use until we had to ask someone for it. There was an employee in the restroom while my mother when in and was taking up the entire sink area. I understand it's Mother's Day, it was also my birthday and it was disappointing. If I wouldn't have had previous positive experience I would be be coming back.

This is one of my bestie's favorite, local spots, and is quickly becoming one of mine. Service is always excellent and the food and drinks always hit. We usually enjoy a few of the appetizers and maybe an entree between the two of us... and of course a few cocktails or mimosas. Those fried goat cheese lollipops with the slivered almonds and honey is something I think about fondly. Thank you to the management team, and most importantly the chefs, line cooks, servers and bartenders for maintaining such a wonderful restaurant!!

Perfect medium rare

I love this place! Their food is high quality, the environment and ambiance is outstanding, the prices are very fair for a fine dining experience. I enjoyed the New York steak and my fiancé enjoyed the filet. Both were cooked to perfection- medium rare is how we like it. Our waitress was super friendly, fun and made us laugh. We enjoyed the heating lamps outside because it was a chilly night and they created the perfect temperature for us to enjoy the meal and also be outside. Definitely can't wait to come back again!

Beautiful brunch views of downtown Claremont, the restaurant is cutely designed and situated on the corner offering nice patio brunch seating. I love sitting here in the patio enjoying my favorite eggs Benedict. They perfectly pouched the egg, crisped the bacon (I replaced instead of Canadian ham) and the egg muffin perfectly light and toasted. The breakfast potato's could use a longer cook on them. The Gouda burger juicy, flavored, with cheese and truffle fries. Tried the crème brûlée waffle which was large and needed help sharing all our dishes with friends. Waited a bit for the hostess, but once she came out no wait on eating outside on patio. Ate here twice and will definitely return for the 3rd time.

" Rhub The Right Way"
Robin A.

Came here originally for brunch but didn't realize that was only for Saturdays and Sundays. Wish they had a mini special brunch menu for the weekdays as well! There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to choose from. You will need to make reservations for their booths however since those seem to all be claimed in advance. I ended up trying one of the drinks on the holiday menu instead and honestly I should have ordered a second one! I tried the "Rhub The Right Way" drink (alcoholic) which is a vanilla cream cheese vodka, rhubarb liqueur, cinnamon vanilla syrup, strawberry, lemon, egg white, graham cracker rim! I look forward to going back and trying more off this limited menu.

They've got indoor and outdoor seating and they seemed a touch understaffed for being a beautiful day. It was also a Tuesday lunchtime so maybe they weren't expecting it to be as busy as it was. We were able to prove the menu before we got seated. And our super friendly server came out and we were able to order right away. They've got a lunch special. That is a small personal pizza with a salad and we each got that. Salads came out first and I had the arugula salad, which was absolutely phenomenal. 10 of 10 would eat this every single day. The arugula was peppery and it was well dressed in a lemon vinaigrette type sauce. I am a fan of just plain lemon on mine, but this was delicious. My husband got a union salad, which is their specialty I guess. It's got colored carrots and some beets and some shallots. I thought the dressing was bland and it certainly needed salt and pepper. We asked for both and didn't get either. Our pieces came out and they were nice and woodfired. I feel like they could've been done just a little bit longer maybe a minute or two. The sauce was a lovely fresh type crushed tomato sauce. The cheese was nice and gooey and did not feel or taste like a package of processed cheese. Pepperonis were greasy, but in a real meat kind of way. I had to dab mine, but my husband just went to town on his. The pickled peppers is a pickled jalapeño. Big chunks of them. They certainly didn't skimp on any of the toppings. They were a little sweet and a little hot. Some of the big chunks were a little too sweet for my liking but overall, it was a nice flavor mix Also from a size standpoint, I thought the salad and pizza were very adequate for lunch at around $20 price point I asked for salt and pepper again as well as a side of ranch. This time we did get the salt and pepper as well as cheese and crushed red pepper. But we didn't get the ranch until we were leaving. The server did apologize and said he thought someone else was bringing it out but I pretty much deducted a star because we asked for a couple different things that never came. Overall, the service was super friendly, the ambience was nice for an outdoor lunch thought. I thought the menu looked delicious and there were several things I would like to come back and try and I would go back again.

It was so underwhelming. 2 eggs cooked differently, one over hard, one over easy, 5-6 potato pieces and the steak was thin, overcooked, and appeared to be a cheap cut of meat. A New York cut would have been great. Wife mentioned norms has better steak and eggs. Called and spoke with a manager Stephanie, not looking for anything, but to express disappointment in the meal for the high price. She offered to mail a gift card for us and invited us back. It was my first visit here but it won't be my last. I had already did my browsing of what's on the menu. I joined in on the crispy tofu for the appetizer and the crispy salmon skin salad. When we walked in it was busy. The Dodger game was on at the bar. There were maybe three open tables at most. We were seated at their small table against the wall. A cozy table for two. We were greeted by our friendly server, she brought the menus and ask us about drinks to start. I've water all around, haha. She came back with our water. Ooh, tasted like cucumber water... Refreshing. While my lady was deciding, I ordered: crispy tofu appetizer (presented in a small dish, about 10-12 pieces of hot, crispy cubes of golden tofu with a dipping sauce) and the salmon skin salad for my entree. The salad was an ample sized serving to share between the two of us. The salmon skin was julienned and were crispy little clumps like miniature fishy hash browns. Very crispy and tasty salad that included sliced tomatoes, cucumber, and scallions on mixed greens. My date ordered the charshu ramen. We shared our plates. The ramen was very tasty. The noodles had a good chew, not over cooked. Mmm, that was delicious. The robotic server was kitchy and cute. Maybe it does assist them with delivering plates to the table but the human server was observed transferring them from the bot to the table. For our table, we had our food delivered in stages not at the same time. The crispy tofu arrived first, then the ramen, and several minutes later came the salmon skin salad. Not a deal breaker but noticed. Food was good. Service was okay, could be better.

A friend I met many years ago at a wine tasting invited me to a Burgundy wine class at Packing House Wines, and I attended. The store is located up a few steps on the north side of the Claremont Packing House. Parking is usually not an issue as there is a big multi-level parking garage on the east side of the packing house. All attendees sat down to a list of wines to be tasted, a printed out copy of the slides being presented, a big burgundy wine glass for pours, water, and a nice little charcuterie plate. The owner Sal gave the presentation, and it was easily the best wine class I have ever attended. He talks pretty fast, but not too fast, and his delivery was excellent, providing an extensive amount of information that was easy to understand. We pretty much learned everything about Burgundy wines from the history of the region, the stringent production laws, different classes of Burgundy wines, and details about all of the different producers and regions we tasted wines from. The class was scheduled for two hours, but it ended up lasting for two and a half hours. It would have been easy to stay for much longer as the class and wines were very enjoyable. The wine class was a little pricey at $125 per person, but this was a bargain as Burgundy wines are expensive. We were able to taste ten 1.5 ounce pours including several Premier Cru and Grand Cru wines (one of them was $350/bottle). My favorites were the '17 Albert Bichot Fixin ($53.99) and the '20 Domaine Lecheneaut Vosne Romanee ($124.99) which I purchased. They have wine classes regularly, and I will definitely return if one catches my eye. They have quite a selection of wines for sale, as well as tasting flights and food from their kitchen.
