I would not recommend Bardi Plumbing. They came to my home on June 13 for a clogged guest bathroom toilet. The technician initially told me the toilet would need to be pulled, which would cost $550. Since I was not home, I felt pressured to approve the work. He later called back and said he did not need to pull the toilet and only snaked it, but the charge was still $300, which I felt was very high. Only 14 days later, the same toilet clogged again. I called because it had been less than 30 days, and I thought the work should be covered. A different technician came out, used my own plunger, cleared the toilet, and still charged me $88. I was then told they do not warranty clogs at all. My concern is that I paid $300 for the original service, the issue returned within two weeks, and they still charged me again. Both technicians also tried to sell me on their warranty/service plans. I called the manager three times to discuss my concerns and never received a return call. Based on my experience, their prices are high, they do not stand behind their work for even 30 days, and their customer service did not follow up. read more

I was very pleased with the service rep, Connor. personable and professional! The customer service rep on the phone was helpful. What I do not like from Bardi is the lack of transparency in the cost of the service to be performed. I asked for very basic information and said that I understood if they found something outside the scope of what I thought the issue was, I accepted their estimate may be off. But no, everything had to be secretive. The price for what was done was ridiculous but I wasn't going to waste my time, so I allowed it to be performed. The tech was great. But I will never call Bardi again. If they want my business again, it needs to be earned with honest transparency. read more

Went online to request a visit to get help with a toilet. I was given the 2pm window. Hunter Burch came out to our rescue at 5. He was courteous and most important was able to reassure me that he'd be able to help out. I was waiting for a worst case scenario. He brought in a 6 ft auger and a few seconds later I heard a flush. PTL. When he was done he did an inspection of the plumbing in the house and was able to point out another item that will need to be looked at. That will have to wait for the new year. Interior / Exterior N/A Customer Service I called and spoke to a very friendly young lady named Taylor. She was supposed to call me back because I wanted to find out how much they charged to install garbage disposals. She didn't have access to the flat rate pricing, but said she'd get with a supervisor or technician and call me back. She forgot the call back, so I called the main number back after 5pm and spoke with another associate, JaNae / J'Nae (sp?). JaNae said she'd have a technician call me back right away. Steve H was the plumber I spoke to and he couldn't have been nicer. He wasn't pushy at all and he even gave me some valuable tips on things to look out for if attempting DIY. Stellar stellar guy. Price / Value Bardi charges a flat rate of $88 for service calls and if you have the repair done, the $88 goes toward the repair. (I thought I'd mention this because there are some companies that DON'T treat the service charge this way.) I wound up not hiring them because their price to install / replace a garbage disposal was $350. They had a coupon for $88 which would bring the price down to $262, but that's still a lot higher than the average installation / labor. Most companies charge around $130 - $150 for labor on a garbage disposal. Same Day Appliance, who I normally use, charges $120. I also appreciated the 5% Veteran's discount they offer. Overall Overall, while I genuinely enjoyed the great customer service I experienced, I feel like the pricing is greatly inflated. I also liked the Friends of Bardi plan. I didn't quite understand the way Taylor explained it because it seemed kinda like a Home Warranty (pPlan is $360 for the year or $29.95 per month), but Steve cleared up my confusion. So five stars for customer service, but 1 star for higher than average prices. read more

After a lightning strike at my residence in 2019, I called Bardi to repair my AC. Their diagnosis was that the entire system was damaged, old and had to be replaced costing several thousand dollars that I didn't have. I got a second opinion from a guy who works alone and he found a broken ground wire at the 240v condenser connection was at fault. He repaired it for the $55 call out fee. I had my routine maintenance done today by Edgar and he was great! Replaced my filters answered all of my questions not only about the unit that Bardi installed but also my other older unit as well. Just other example of how Bardi can serve their customers better. I have a faucet in my master bath that was stripped (kept turning with no stop point). The Bardi technician said that he had to replace the cartridge (Special Order Part):$1,400.00 including my $250 discount. I called the Kohler warranty department and they stated that the Stem Driver was the bad part and recommend I purchase the part on Amazon.com. For a total of $7.00 plus $6.00 shipping, with 5 minutes of labor, I (a non plumber) was able to repair this issue. So what's my message to Bardi? Really!?! If the lady on the phone at Kohler warranty can correctly diagnose my issue, I really don't understand why a certified plumber onsite in my bathroom could not figure out that this was the problem. My suggestion to other customers, always get a second opinion. read more

There is no way you can expect people to pay $400 per pound for freon when the average price ranges from $75 to $100 dollars. Not to mention, the over inflated cost of labor. How is it possible on a warranty item, Bardi quotes a charge of $4300 for labor and 4 bottles of freon and another company is able to complete the repairs for $700 including freon? read more

I had a very bad experience with Bardi This morning. I requested an AC tun-up, and the customer rep who answered the phone make the appointment, which her name I believe is Ashley. On top of that, she requested my credit card over the phone to put on file, so Mitchell, which is the Tec, said that is not how things work. Mitchell came this morning and ONLT did a check up, but on the website, it says "AC Tun-up", when that is not what it is. I called a friend of mine, who is a AC tec, and I ask him what does an AC Tun-up consist of, and he told me that is includes checking the system, but also included the cleaning the coils and the blower and make sure it runs the way it supposed to. Mitchell, did not do that, but instead just did a check and informed me of what an AC tune-up would cost, which is $850, which is crazy for just a tune-up. So I wasted taking time off thinking that i was going to getting the service I thought I was paying for. For them to have on there website it says "AC Tune-up" which is misleading. It should say "AC Check-up". I have already reached out to another provider that made it perfectly clear of what a tune he will provide which is in line with what I thought it will be. please don't use this company!!! They were here to service my A/C unit on 4/16/2026. the service technician broke my basement door and didn't tell me. I noticed it on 4/18/2026. I called them 3 times in 2 days before I got a return call telling me they would do nothing about repairs. Don't let this happen to you. Don't let the 4.7 rating fool you. They are very deceiving and don't tell the truth. Called because we had a problem with a backup in the outside pipe leading to the sewer drain. Advertise $93 or it's free, that's why I called. They came out, unclogged the pipe but said we had some finger roots in the pipe and that it needed to be jet cleaned. This is where it went south. They said I could call the water company or have them do it but they (Bardi) would charge. My response was "I'm sure they would charge as well to do that" and that is where the worker went silent. Why? Because he knew the water company would not charge to do it but he didn't want to disclose that information. We scheduled Bardi to do the work not knowing the water company wouldn't charge and after doing the work he told my wife we still need to call the water company to have them look at the pipe because there was a crack in the pipe and said they would replace it for free. So I called the water company and they told me they would come out and look at things and then he told me that in the future I should just call them because they would not charge to do the cleaning and that Bardi knows that because all of the companies know they don't charge. He also told me that they would only replace the pipe under certain circumstances. So not only did Bardi lie about the pipe replacement, they deceived us by not telling us the water company would not charge us. Absence of the truth is a lie, like selling a home with a known issue without disclosing the issue. I have owned a home for over 40 years and have never had to have a sewer line cleaned so we had no idea the water company would not charge us. So after finding out all of this info, I called Bardi and explained that we felt cheated, deceived and lied to. I was told that the repairman mentioned the water company would not charge for the service but that is another lie. Why in the world would we pay over $2000 for a service when the water company would do it for free. The representative I spoke with said she would go to her management team and that hopefully we could meet in the middle. Guess that was another lie. I received a call back the next day and was told they decided not to refund us any money for the service. WOW. Over $2000 for 2 hours of work that could have been done for free. If they had met me in the middle like mentioned, I would have felt better about things. Then she had the nerve to say she was sorry and that I had her number if I ever needed anything. I told her that's not going to happen. If by chance we need the pipe replaced and the water company won't do it, I can promise you I will NOT call Bardi to do the work or any other work for that matter. If they had done the right thing I may have considered using them but there is no way that will happen now. On a side note, If by chance they reply to this review, don't believe that they told us we had free options for the work to be done and don't believe that they are sorry that we had a bad experience. They had the chance to make things right and they chose not to. If one person avoids using them for any services, this review was worth writing. Recently had work done by Bardi, and the experience was nothing short of infuriating. We originally had a trusted plumber quote us $300 to fix a minor leak--nothing major, just something that needed attention, especially since we're in the middle of selling our home and hosting showings. Unfortunately, our regular technician was unavailable for two weeks, so we reluctantly decided to call Bardi again, despite already noticing in the past that their prices had gone up while the quality of their work had gone down. That decision turned out to be a huge mistake. They came in and quoted us $900 for the same simple leak repair--already an outrageous jump--and then tried to upsell us an additional $1,900 to "service" a brand new water heater, claiming it might fix the issue. That uncertainty alone should have been a red flag. The plumber completed the job in about an hour and a half, and while the leak initially seemed resolved, what he left behind was completely unacceptable. The shower was essentially damaged in the process. The middle knob barely turns, causing water to continue running improperly, and the cold water handle is now loose, turning the wrong direction and on the verge of falling off entirely. It's obvious the handles were tampered with or loosened under the excuse that our pipes are "old." When we called them back to address the problems they created, they sent another plumber--who then had the audacity to quote us $3,000 to fix these new issues. This isn't just poor service--it feels like a deliberate attempt to create more problems in order to charge more money. The lack of accountability, the inflated pricing, and the careless workmanship are beyond frustrating. I would strongly advise anyone to stay far away from this company. read more

Been part of "Friends of Bardi Membership" eight years. What once was a 5 star organization is no longer. Missed appointments, no follow up and unorganized. Used them for HVAC and plumbing. Work used to be competent and prices reasonable. Today, they inflate their prices and each technician has the ability to inflate their quote(s). They will tell you it's industry pricing. If they treat established customers like they don't care, why would you continue using them? They made their point. "Show Me The Money " should be their new motto.
