I have used them twice now-once - planned and once - unplanned. First service was to clear dryer vent since it had not been done in the 8 yrs (new install) I have owned the home (my bad). David cleared it, tested the air flow and everything worked fine. Advised of a future need which would be a warranty item thus a little more cost and time to complete. Second service - 2.5 mos later late on a Friday, the dryer went into a full alert due to high pressure and shut itself off (built-in safety mechanism). I contacted the company that evening baffled as to why and when could they send someone to inspect it. They responded late that evening that David would arrive first thing Monday morning. He arrived on time - checked the airflow which was fine but the alert was still active. So David went into the crawl space to inspect the duct system and behold it was bad and dangerous (from 8 yrs ago) - flex duct which was easily 3X the length required, 2" vs 4" piping in/out of crawl space using pvc piping, compromised flex duct in the laundry room causing dust to settle around and behind the washer and dryer units - not evident in the open area. It was all incorrectly installed and ultimately dangerous to my home. I was fortunate that I had never suffered a fire. He quoted me a repair and 4 days later he was onsite resetting the whole duct system. Ran into a problem with ducting into the crawl space, dispatched a couple of his guys to come and assist and the work was done in 3 hours, space cleaned and everything tested and the alert was resolved. Pricing was acceptable. I will definitely engage them again if and when necessary. Thanks

My air handler is in my attic…read more David was training Greg, so they took a bit more time to do the job, which was about 7 hours to clean 16 registers, trunks and air handler. They were organized and very careful moving around the second floor and attic with their equipment. The equipment was high quality HEPA vacuum and duct suction machines placed in the upstairs hallway. The operation appeared to contain the dust and overall seemed to keep everything clean considering the nature of the project. They were easy to work with, professional, and would hire them again.

The…read moreowner of All HVAC Services had referred me to ZeroRez stating that in his opinion, they were the company that did the best duct cleaning from any of the companies he'd seen. So, I called & set up my services. The two guys that came out were professional and did a great job cleaning the ducts as well as the dryer vent. They stated that everything was back in place, turned the lights off in the attic & closed the door. They provided before and after photos of the inside of the vents. I was happy with the work. Stupidly, I didn't think to go in to the attic to double check. I even referred some of my neighbors to ZeroRez. That was until I recently had an issue with my a/c which prompted me to go in to the attic with All HVAC Services owner. When we went in to the attic, we found some of the ductwork laying on the floor & the webbing that had previously held the ductwork in place was cut & laying on the insulation in my attic. Needless to say, I was pretty upset. The owner of All HVAC Services told me to contact ZeroRez to let them know, so I called. That was almost two weeks ago & still haven't received a call back from a manager. All HVAC Services owner was apologetic since he referred me to ZeroRez. The owner fixed the duct work and added it to the other items I had to have fixed. In the end I'll say, the initial cleaning was great. Neither I, nor the HVAC team could figure out why ZeroRez cut the webbing from the duct work as this was not necessary and ended up costing me more money. They could have at the very least notified me that they had to cut it for whatever reason, but failed to say anything. I could have had it fixed right away if I had known. ZeroRez customer service, when it comes to issues/complaints is not good. I expected more given the way the company initially started its service with me. I'm very disappointed in the overall outcome and tbh, not sure I'll recommend them to anyone else.

I advised that my dryer had been inspected by an appliance repair service and another dryer vent company within the month -- both said my dryer was fine...I just needed my vent cleaned. DVW told me that they would provide vent cleaning without their standard inspection. They said their normal vent cleaning fee was between $169 and $285 unless something else was discovered. I agreed to proceed. The DVW representative showed me and estimate of $254 for vent cleaning, $59 dollar inspection fee, and $49 to clean my already clean lint trap. I objected to the inspection fee and showed the technician my communication from DVW and he agreed to only discount the inspection fee by $36. I paid the DVW $326 which I believe was price gouging. If money is no object to you...DVW may be your best choice. As far as I can tell their cleaning service was good. Personally, I was not happy with their business practices.

HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND! *please read my whole review and…read moreadded comments at the end for my response to their reply* Team was friendly at first and showed me pictures of their work (which was super deceiving), however, after they left I was able to thoroughly inspect the work provided. I had a basic HVAC clean. When i went upstairs, i realized air vents on the ceiling were re-installed WITHOUT SCREWS. This was apparent in several locations. The few that had screws were drilled too far and stripped the surface therefore also making the vents loose. Additionally, work done in the attic with the hvac ducts was improperly reinstalled to the point of the ducts pushing vents out of ceilings and protruding into the room. Because of all of these reasons, and so many vents falling out of my ceiling, i had personally property that was damaged. When I reached out 7 times, they never responded until I disputed it with my bank (funny how that works, right?). Then they wanted to come and fix their issues. They gave me the "landlord special" and didnt address the personal property damaged that was caused due to their negligence. Their response when i showed them the personal property damage was "we didnt do that." I had moved into my house 2 weeks prior and none of the issues were on the detailed inspection report. I shared all of my photos, inspections, etc with my bank and finally am finished with that. All in all, I cannot recommend using LITERALLY ANYONE ELSE more. That is unless you are okay with poor service, property damage, and negligent & arrogant team members. Hope this helps. Attaching 2 out of hundreds of photos. *reply- find it so funny and interesting that you say you cannot reinstall registers without screws and yet that is exactly what occurred. I have photos, inspections reports, and a secondary company coming in to review your work and they were appalled! Your company can claim you did nothing wrong and remediated the situation but you did not. Property damage was done. You can claim it was not your fault, but clearly both our banks agreed it was from the overwhelming amount of proof provided by me. The remediated situation was a temporary fix and the second those registers need to be checked or cleaned again, the issue will represent itself. Do not claim that you guys did nothing wrong and fixed the issue when you very clearly did not. I submitted 25 pages of proof to the bank. I did call you 7 times with no response and also have proof of that. This company would be better off just admitting their mistakes rather than lying. Thanks! If anyone would like clarifying, please reach out to me by replying to this comment and I can provide the 25 pages of proof, photos, etc!*

I called him and he was available to come out within a couple hours. When he got here and inspected the unit, he immediately identified the issue saying we had a bad capacitor. He had one on his truck and had it changed out in minutes and we again had working AC. I asked him to quote some more services and his fees were more than reasonable. Based on his repair service and recommendations he quoted, I believe him to be an honest professional. I will be using SP Heating & Air for all future HVAC service and I will recommend them to all of my friends and neighbors.

This is the second time that I have used this business, and I actually chose to use them this time despite my home warranty company preferring to use another vendor. Got home at 5:30pm to find the house at 81 degrees and rising. I called Dayco Air Reliant and they pulled a guy off a job and sent him my way. Ryan found that the blower motor had quit working. He had the new motor installed and the house cooling down by 7:30pm. We slept nice and cool that evening thanks to the quick response by Dayco Air Reliant. The technician, Ryan, was very pleasant when he arrived and considering he had already worked a full day before coming over to my hot house, that speaks volumes for his character. Dayco systems came out to do routine maintenance on my HVAC system today, and I was blown away with the amazing job that they did. Cory D was absolutely fantastic. He was thoughtful, efficient, and very helpful in answering my questions on our system. He took pictures and walked me through key details on the maintenance and systems, and he was happy to talk through any other questions that I had. The men that have come out to help us with our HVAC system have always been kind and courteous. Steve is our most regular technician. We feel like we have gotten to know him a bit, and enjoy his visit when he comes. When our AC shut down on a Friday evening after 5:00, we called Dayco that night. It took me a bit to respond to him, given the chaotic household on a Saturday evening but I was made aware that there is an emergency service fee and the repair charges to fix! Rohan was on his way around 7pm! Rohan has a good demeanor and very personable. He got to work immediately and diagnosed the problem (capacitor). Within 20 mins I had my HVAC working again. He gave him quite a few pieces of relevant information about my HVAC and even cleaned the coils outside to make sure everything was tip top! The total charge was reasonable - please don't compare these with DIY costs as HVACs need some level of knowledge and expertise. They accept all forms of payment but Venmo/Zelle make it super easy to pay for the services. Highly recommended. They also offer maintenance, which is top on my list prior to me turning my heat on.
