I have always been happy with the work this team does and have been happy to support this business…read morebut I was just made to pay $230 for a part alone that costs $30 or less to buy. I was told that was completely normal. An up-charge like that is anything but normal. I had to pay almost $800 for less than 30 min of work and told it was because he is an expert. I needed some wires checked and new capacitor. This was not an emergency call, not a night or weekend call, just a regularly scheduled Monday morning. This is partly my fault for not asking questions but mainly theirs for not making the charges clear before handing over the bill. I would have NEVER paid this much money had I known what I was paying for and it does't sit well with me that someone would use their "expertise" to rob people of money this way. Being told "we charged you the same thing back in 2016" doesn't help! That just tells me that I have been blindly loyal AND robbed for over 10 years.

The technicians, Anderson and Malcolm, were professional, efficient, and thorough from start to finish. They checked all my thermostats and fully inspected the HVAC unit, giving everything a solid thumbs up. They also made a helpful recommendation to flush the system and provided a fair, reasonable quote--no pressure, just good information. I signed up for their seasonal maintenance package, which includes summer and winter visits, and it comes with a nice discount. Overall, a smooth and positive experience. Highly recommend their services!

I used them a month before that and he was similarly 2 hours past the time window they gave. But the biggest problem is that they are ridiculously expensive, and I mean ridiculous. They charged me $595 to replace the drain tube on my dishwasher. They said the high price was because of "labor," but we are talking about a hose going out from the machine and into the drain. Wrap your mind around that. I could have bought a whole new dishwasher at that price. Use them if money (or your time) is no object to you. I won't use them ever again.

In June of 2022, I had an issue with my air ducts not blowing cold air into all the upstairs…read morebedrooms. I reached out to a few AC companies and ALL of them only offered for me to close some of my vents to force air into other rooms. At this point I was completely frustrated and went to Yelp and found Reginald of Accurate AC. I called him and he came out right away and was extremely professional and courteous. He was the only one who took the time to properly diagnose my issue. He was in my very hot attic for about an hour and informed me of my options. He mentioned either installing an inline blower or the best option was to build a distribution box that would route and distribute the air properly to each room. He came back a couple of days later and installed the distribution box. I finally had air in all rooms! He also noticed that I had loose wires that were exposed (a major fire hazard no doubt) and he also created a junction box to place them in at a very fair price. I had three other companies in my attic before him and NONE of them mentioned the wires! Due to his competitive pricing, high level of skill and professionalism, I called him back for another issue about a week ago, and he came out and went above and beyond again! I will only use Accurate AC for all my heating and air needs! Thank you, Reginald! :- )
