Home warranty was an option but you know you always get scheduled with the worst of the worst, and they couldn't schedule me in for a few days.. I checked up some reviews on Yelp and HVAC Guys showed up as the only 5 star reviewed provider. Curious I checked other platforms and all had glowing reviews, so I messaged the business on Yelp, and got a response almost immediately. It took me a bit to respond to him, given the chaotic household on a Saturday evening but I was made aware that there is an emergency service fee and the repair charges to fix! Rohan was on his way around 7pm! Rohan has a good demeanor and very personable. He got to work immediately and diagnosed the problem (capacitor). Within 20 mins I had my HVAC working again. He gave him quite a few pieces of relevant information about my HVAC and even cleaned the coils outside to make sure everything was tip top! The total charge was reasonable - please don't compare these with DIY costs as HVACs need some level of knowledge and expertise. They accept all forms of payment but Venmo/Zelle make it super easy to pay for the services. Highly recommended. They also offer maintenance, which is top on my list prior to me turning my heat on.

We called to help with our heater, and the owner Rohan provided an extra mile in service that I did not expect. He went above and beyond, not only helping with our issue, but guaranteeing that we got a fair price when he couldn't make it out in time and had to use another HVAC company. We will absolutely come back to HVAC Guyz & Plumbing for all of our needs. Rohan is a truly kind and helpful person, and that is all you can ask for when you need help. Thank you so much. Tom Bunch has been my go-to HVAC company for years. They installed my furnace in 2019 and have done…read moreA/C tune-ups over the years. All that came to crashing halt yesterday. My last A/C tune-up was quite a while ago (thanks COVID) . During their last A/C visit Tom Bunch personnel were professional, used a device to accept credit card payment, and left me feeling secure and well taken care of. Little did I know, but apparently, Tom Bunch, Inc. in ATL is "now under different management" (although Tom also "operates from Macon.") The rusted truck that showed up from Tom Bunch, Inc. yesterday to do an A/C tuneup should have been my first clue. The (subcontracted) technicians spent 20 mins. looking at my A/C, checking compression, and then told me I could call in my credit card # to pay my bill. But did they do anything but check the compression? Clean the coils, other? The technicians struggled to communicate in English, so I will never know. (I called the "head Tom Bunch office" in Lawrenceville and the woman has not called me back yet with an answer as to what the service actually was.) Billing was even worse. Today, they emailed my bill demanding payment for my "seasonal tuneup" (done yesterday) that was due "within 48 hours of work completion"--with a "10% late fee on unpaid invoices after 48 hours." Tom Bunch, Inc. has no payment portal, and when I first called Billing, "Chaz" told me I needed to give them a credit card over the phone or send a check (I don't give out my credit card # over the phone and wonder if they know that a check mailed via the USPS will take about 1.5 weeks to get to them). The billing expert then told me I could pay via PayPal. Hunh? She did not provide the PayPal information. I will try to get it. I will have to warn my elderly neighbor--who recommended Tom Bunch, Inc. to me--about the changes. Too stressful.
