**BUYER BEWARE** The finance company that Bardi uses (Service Finance Company, LLC) will put a lien on your home if you finance through Bardi. Neither company will make any mention of this while you're signing a 20 page contract. Their defense? I should have read every page I was signing as page 11 clearly describes the lien that will placed on home. I'm a small business owner and if I found out that a finance company I was recommending to my customers was putting liens on my customers homes, I would be outraged. Just stay away from this company. It was a service request from hell. My furnace went out and it took the repair guy Scott, 10 minutes to restore the heat and 10 minutes later shut it off and came down the attic with 10 pictures of my furnace to explain how my furnace is old and needs to be replaced. Scott turned from a HVAC tech to salesman instantly. When I explained to him that I can't invest in their new furnace till after the holidays, suddenly you can feel the tension. It was 4:30 pm and the poor guy explained he lived out of the city. On mentioning the traffic he's about to encounter going home, I felt sorry for him. Then when I asked him to turn the furnace back on before leaving, he refused and said he won't for safety reasons and an electrician has to look at it. it's been 3 days and I'm still waiting for a Bardi electrician. I just think this company is running a scam and their goal is to trap you into some sort of contract. I called Bardi for spring maint. I own two Carrier systems. Upon arriving the two techs let me know that it would take about 1 and 1/2 hrs per unit. They removed the blower fans from each furnace and showed dust and was telling me that these should be cleaned . I asked what that would cost and was told that they would let me know when they were done checking out both systems. They asked me when my ducts had been cleaned last and that this should be done every 5 years. They finally finished, 5 hrs later, but then said that my main floor compressor was locked up. I was given 3 different quotes for services that included a new compressor and evaporator coils. These quotes ranged from $8-11,000. The tech said that regarding the age of my main floor system ( 14 years) I should just replace the whole system. I decided to shop other vendors . When working with another vendor I had out to quote a new system they said they would like to have one of their tech's out to verify the issue with my current system before purchasing new equipment. This new tech found that the compressor common wire coming off the top of the contactor was on the fan terminal instead of the common terminal. Put wire on the proper terminal and reset the power to the condenser board and the system came on. Checked the refrigerant charge and it was good. I had to pay $182 for this vendor to FIX what the Bardi tech messed up when cleaning my outside unit. If Bardi's tech were less concerned about what they could SELL me then I wouldn't be writing this BAD review. Was this Incompetence or bad business practices...you can decide. I have found a new service company and will NOT be using this company again! read more

Well been a customer of Bardi for years and they just tried to scam me out of thousands of dollars! Had a tech come out and do my free quarterly inspection for him to tell me I needed 2 pounds of freon for $663 or a coil for $3,900 or a completely new system for $10-12k. Told him I would consider a new unit so they sent a "Comfort Tech" out. Well he provided horrible service and didn't provide any comfort. I have never seen a bigger scammer! He wouldn't give me the price of a new unit because i wouldn't book a slot. Kept asking me unnecessary questions about whether i was paying cash or financing. I couldn't wait for this man to get out of my home! He told me the unit would cost from $12-22k .. FOR A TOWNHOME. The next day i got a second opinion and we found that the tech had left my filter hanging out of my system which caused my house not to cool for 4 days! I think now he did it on purpose. I had an appointment on September 15 for a plumbing problem. It's the same problem that they supposedly fixed in July 2024 and charged me $1,093.00. That whole ad they televise for "$93 or it's free to clean your main drain" is a fairy tale. I was charged $1,093 and it's still not clear. It took THREE phone calls to Bardi to get a copy of my July 2024 invoice so I would have a record of what work they performed and what I paid them. Each time I called I was told it was being sent to me. They shove a cell phone in your face at the end, ask you to sign then give you nothing for your records. I'm old, not stupid. No one showed up on September 15. No one called me. Same old Bardi behavior. I obviously need to find a new plumber. I'm a senior citizen and have Stage IV cancer. I try to avoid stress and negativity in my life. I won't be calling Bardi anymore to remove that stress from my life. I do not recommend them for anything. read more

David the plumbing tech arrived on time , he came to see my gas plumbing which was causing my new little oversized gas range to stick out of kitchen wall. He gave me estimates but unfortunately it was more than my new gas range price itself so declined it but David explained me their other services and help me understand the how gas work is risky hence expensive and cannot do anything. Overall my experience with David was great. He explained me their extended warranty product , I already have one hence declined but if you want warranty service from local family owned company then I recommend Bardi. We have used Bardi for almost a year now. I thought it was a good value before but NOW, I am convinced that we made the right decision! Josh cane for a typical quarterly maintenance check today. He was checking things out and had to break a tiny pvc pipe in order to give the HVAC unit a proper inspection. I am SO THANKFUL he broke it. There was no other way into the unit access and when he inspected it, he found a deep, thick layer of mold lying on the cooling panel. All of that mold has been flowing through our vents for years! I am so thankful for his dedication and thorough inspection! We purchased a UV filter system to be sure we will be mold free! We have been sick for months and this is likely why! I called Bardi because of the commercials and their reviews. Trusting, my family will be in great hands. WRONG! We made an appointment to have our AC unit checked, repaired or perhaps replaced because it was not working for about 5 days. I called Bardi on July 27 inquiring about servicing my AC unit. Jeff, SALESMAN from Bardi came to my home on Friday June 28, to check my AC. He went up in the attic, walked, around the home making his observations. Within moments he stating we needed a new AC system. I have two elderly parents living in the home my dad is recovering from a stroke so having cool air is crucial! Jeff, said, we are in good hand with Bardi while getting my information for this 11k AC unit. He stated the unit will be installed next day on June 29 Financing was approved and that was that. June 29, the AC unit was installed after about 5 hours. The technician told us to run the AC on 69 for about 5 hours because of the EXTREME heat and humidity in the home and then set it your desired temperature. After waiting five hours the home remained lukewarm to hot. There was no cool or cold air coming from the vents. I called Bardi Sunday June 30, let them know the system is not cooling or coming through vents. I didn't hear from Bardi until July 2, four days later. I was contacted by Bardi that Mr. Carmona will be out. On July 2, Mr. Carmona checked the new unit and noticed we didn't have adequate insulation in the attic or return vents. He said, they didn't tell you, you needed return vents... I said no, I don't know anything about AC units and what all it needs to run. Mr. Carmona then said, he would speak to someone about getting this taken care of as soon as possible because the air is not circulating properly in the home. I waited for someone to call me from Bardi with what Mr. Carmona reported, but never heard from anyone from Bardi. I then called the finance company and let them know what was happening and to let them know I've not heard from anyone from Bardi. Keep in mind the temperature is hot and dangerous for sensitive groups like my dad. After several calls I finally reached someone on Saturday July 6, 8 days later. The woman on the other end told me someone will be out asap. The next day Kalief from Bardi came to my home Sunday July 7, on the 9th day. He checked the unit. Said, he was not able to make repairs today but will return Monday with his team to get everything up and running correctly so my home will have air flowing through it like it's supposed. Monday, July 8, day 10 no call no show! No one from Bardi called me and no one from Bardi showed up at my home! I called Bardi once again today Monday at 5pm to inform them about my my non working AC unit and called the finance company so the finance company to reach out to Bardi to cancel my account. I am completely finished with Bardi! I do not want anything from them at this point but to COME AND GET THIS AC UNIT OUT OF MY HOME! I lost all respect and trust for this company! I am very disappointed as to how you can allow 10 days to pass with the sweltering heat we have in Georgia to not make my situation a priority knowing I have two parents in the home that are elderly and one recovering from a stroke three months ago. Bardi showed me they DO NOT CARE about me as a customer just about the MONEY ! As soon as the funds were deposited they no longer cared if me and my family have air! 12 days later we have AIR! Thanks to Mr. Anwar and Robert H. from Bardi. Anwar called me concerned about what he read in the notes, and reached out to Robert to find out what was truly happening and why the ball kept being dropped. Robert H told me my home has wrong size unit to begin with and needed other things that they will take care of at no extra charge. And he kept his word! If you want to get ripped off for unnecessary and incomplete repairs, use Bardi . They will send maintenace people out who just want to sell you on unnecessary repairs. I had a rental with burnt out elements in the HW tank. My tenant called them . Instead of replacing trhe elements they convinced the tenant the pressure was too high and charged over $1,000 for a new pressure valve after reading the pressure at outside faucet which was before the valve and showing incoming pressure. They also wanted another $1800 for air tank which is working fine on HW tank but just needed more air. Elements replaced by another plumber yesterday for $200. Same for a $5500 furnace Bardi installeld in my house which ran nonstop in winter on cold days. Three different Bardi "technicians " said it was my problem due to poor insulation in attic and gave me an estimate. Reliable came out and found two disconnected ducts blowing hot air in the attic and a hole and gaps in the plenum, one large enough to stick my hand in. read more

Very disappointed in the extreme lack of customer service. Bardi wanted to charge me $1000 more than the job was worth. I gave them a deposit check, which was promptly cashed. I decided to use a different plumber with a better rate and asked Bardi for my deposit back. It has been over 3 weeks and their so -called "customer service" is a joke. No one will tell you who owns the company or who the GM is. What does that tell you about accountability? I left a message on an anonymous voice mail which I was told was the manager. If you don't have your name and voice on your own voice-mail, how credible are you? They sent me a copy of some form showing they "processed" my request. Called and was told you signed the contract. I didn't ask for anything but to fix my broken air conditioner. I think it was over 600 dollars. As I already stated this Company does NOT pull permits. Their rep answered today July 22, 2024 that they ARE PULLING THE PERMITS. They installed the equipment in March of 2023. Do the math. They installed TWO things WITHOUT HAVING A PERMIT. No permit. = NO STATE INSPECTION. NO STATE INSPECTION = no third party insurance that work is correct and more importantly UP TO CODE. Do not trust this Company.To you Ms. Kristy: In my many interactions with the Building Department in trying to get what I paid for, I have been told they can issue a permit in 15 minutes. I had my electrical box, breakers and outlets looked at yesterday by Bardi, professional job done. Today, Bardi was out again and this time I had Taylor Mitchell, HVAC certified professional. Very thorough, communicative , and prepared. Not surprised. He was also in the military and is a college graduate. I'm trying to comprehend the complaints, folks. The only thing I can figure out is the cost. Bardi work is quality work, period. I paid good money for the HVAC and water heater (traditional) but the products are impeccable and the service is professional. I plan on keeping my house for many years to come. So, it only makes sense to invest in a company like Bardi. The core of any house are these items (as well as roofing and plumbing). I can't say it enough, Bardi is an awesome company! I am always able to reach someone and when they make a mistake with an appointment, they apologize, rebook on the spot, and try to fit your schedule. Let them know immediately if you experience something wrong with service or a product. I did the one time I had one and it was handled professionally by the Manager. I have covered a lot about Bardi. I'm a 22 year veteran Public School Teacher & Coach. When we support, we support wholeheartedly- especially with evidence and consistency. I'm definitely satisfied with Bardi. By far the WORST experience I've had with a vendor!!! I've been dealing with horrible HVAC installing by Bardi for over a year now! The unit began leaking less than 2 hrs after their technicians installed. They apparently did not connect something. So much for "getting it right the 1st time", as stated on their hold message when holding forever. This issue has continued to persist and the damage to my home has increased. I continue to get the runaround from their HORRIBLE customer service, who places you on hold forever to pretend like they are taking to a manager. It's in the middle of the summer and the issue has started again with the leaking and we had to turn the unit off! Bardi's Managers are intentionally unavailable and lie about calling back! As per the service rep, there is no 24/7 emergency services but the ability to schedule service. Their advertising is false! We paid over $5K to have the unit installed and Bardi did a crappy job and left us with a damaged home, a leaking unit, no management response and having to deal with a staff trained to continuously say "unfortunately" and "no"! Please stay away from this company! There are better options in the city! This has to be huge as I have NEVER taken the time to write a negative review! We called Bardi to fix our septic system. They can put, snakes the line and all was good. We paid $649. Two days later, the drain clogs again. I call Bardi. They try to tell me that I would have to pay a service fee for them to come back to my house. I argue this point and after 2 phone calls. They decided they would come out and they waived the fee. The guy first tell me that I would need to pay $80 CASH to run a camera through our drain. I told him I did not have cash...... he ran the camera anyway. This was an obvious attempt to rip me off. After looking at the drain with the camera, the plumber comes up with 3 more problems we would need to address. He also used my wife's good towels to clean up the mess after he pulled the toilet up. I already did not trust the guy after he wanted the CASH, so I told him to write up an estimate and we would get back to him. We then called Peachtree Service Experts and they fixed the problem. I called Bardi to express me concerns and I never heard back. NOW they are calling me to schedule a service visit for a plan they say I signed up for to check my ELECTRIC!!!! I am so disappointed. I have been a Bardi customer for almost 20 years. They used to be great, the customer service was fantastic, the service was reliable and when the service people came to your house they were super professional wearing shoe covers and cleaning up their messes and explaining things really clearly. That was all before 2023. Their service is now terrible. They don't really care about the customers anymore. The repair people don't cover their shoes or even throw away the trash they created. Even the people who answer the phone sound like they are doing so under duress. The final straw came when the service person informed me that I would need to get my compression capacitor replaced and also have my ducts cleaned. I told them I they had literally cleaned my ducts out a year prior so they were still clean and the guy just shrugged his shoulders and said, he didn't really read my account before he came in. When I canceled my service I finally got a manager on the line and she didn't even ask why I was cancelling. She didn't even thank me for being a customer for so long. She didn't care at all. So now I am looking for a new HVAC company. read more

Everything started off very good. They came out. The next day. Gave me an estimate gave me what appears to be a good warranty, then the problem started. I did not get the 5 inch filter that I was told I'd be getting the system that they sold me a stage two my house is not compatible to use this system . I was told there is no special financing on the unit then after I bought the unit and paid cash for it I found out they were offering and are offering 0% until 2026 with no payments till 2026. I spoke with what was told to me as a manager from Bart Danny Oliver he told me he would assist me. Unfortunately he has done absolutely I've attempted to And call him and email him and he has not responded in multiple days after he told me he would. I can honestly say I regret it. I will never do business with them again nor will I refer people to do business with them. Highly recommend going somewhere else do not do business with this company. then i called them 2 days later to come work on my mini split. the rep that came out looked at the unit and said it needs to be replaced cause its over 10 years old. i explained its 2 years old and even has a date on it showing 2 years. he said he recommends me call a comfort specialist. then i called and got a new rep out there and he fixed everything no problem. was super nice. then he gave me the bill for $1200 dollars, without ever telling me how much anything was going to be to replace. i regret using this company. read more

My wife called Bardi to repair a leaking water main in the yard. Bardi sent David to do the job. He was professional and nice. This was my first and last time using them. The workmanship was great, but the price was too high by 300-400. To dig a 8-inch depth hole and splice the line should not cost $1035. There's no consideration for senior citizens. I had Bardi out to my new home yesterday to look at my three AC units as I am on their maintenance plan . After the technician completed his inspection and left, I noticed that my upstairs unit wasn't working any longer. When I attempted to contact Barty to have the technician come back I was told that he would reach out Sometime during the day. That never happened and when I escalated I was told that since it was after hours there was no one to escalate to. I ended up calling a different company to come out this morning and they found that the technician from Barty had pulled a wire loose in the attic, which caused the unit to stop working. I had to pay the new company $100 for them to plug a wire back into its proper place. I would not recommend Bardi to anyone that is looking to get proper service or to have qualified technicians whom review their work before leaving. read more

Last year my ac blew out. I called and they were prompt to get to my house to deal with the issue. Condenser was at fault - a simple standard repair. However I got a $975 bill and a very aggressive sales tactic of up charging.. everything was wrong... I was told that my furnace had cracks and when I inspected the camera- none were present. I would die of carbon monoxide poisoning.... I figured quickly what was up. Ended the conversation paid and chalked it up to don't use that service again. Today the charged me $215 yearly service contract. If I asked a company to leave my house rather than deal with them, I would not use their product ever again. I had my credit card challenge and block the company. I called and requested the charges be reversed. Be careful what you sign and have done on your property! $975- condenser is insane. I am aware that this is a trained skill, products and knowledge of service require payments, but not this much! read more
