We called Justin Coleman of Coleman Relocations at 2 pm. He agreed to come with his brother Matthew at 9 p.m. the same day. Keeping in touch by text to update ETA, they arrived at 7:30 in a large, well-equipped truck. When the first route down a flight of stairs proved impossible, they pulled the fridge upstairs again and used an alternate route outside to reach the kitchen - in the rain. In an hour and a half, this difficult task was done, with careful attention to walls, doors and the fridge itself. Couldn't possibly have gone better, and they helped us out of a real jam. For any such task the Colemans are super reliable, knowledgeable, friendly, strong and thoughtful. I would call Coleman Relocations again in a heartbeat.

I hate moving, it's a traumatic situation for me, and any extra stress can make me physically ill. Yeshi gave me that extra stress because he balked at one flight of stairs, something I could do nothing about. Should I have gotten another apt to make it easier for movers? Anyway, he drove me to find other movers and miraculously I did. So I cancelled him, and won't be using him again. I didn't realize it would be such a bother. So if you have a REALLY easy move, he might be the one to contact, but beyond that he might get mad at the imposition. Be careful not to anger the moving man with stairs!

Their truck was plenty big enough for my apartment. First they arrive 20 minutes late. Great! Before they start i ask if they can safely transport my TVs and they insist they can, I can put it in my car but the TVs be perfectly fine if the movers just take care of everything. I'm excited that they appeared to have little tricks to move things along. They ask me if I'm taking the shoe rack near the front door. Yeah. I don't realize he grabs the pair of shoes I wore to meet him outside, throws it on the rack. I don't notice until later but it's fine, I found a pair of slides to wear for the rest of the day. Eventually I start to cover the TV that I was watching up until they arrival with some protective covering. He stops me, pulls the TV off the stand, covers it with their blue cloth covering, throws it over his head and puts it against the wall on its side, then bottom, then side. They struggle with the sectional but get both parts out. All in all, it takes 2 hours and head out to the new apartment. Thought it'd be faster as everything was already wrapped and together and accessing the new apartment was much easier than the old one. Was confused when they told me it was a 4.5 hour project, including failing to get half of my small sectional in, forcing me to ask them to toss it (not necessarily their fault), bringing in my tv's with a hand truck dolly, and putting them on each side again, forgetting to even unwrap my second tv, then pushing me to sign. I rush back to the old spot to finish up my 1 day move. The next morning I found the damage to the TV, new flooring, and new paint. I immediately inform the booker and she tells me the movers said they didn't do anything wrong and stopped responding to me. I wasn't asking for anything other than to cover the damage to the new TV in the living room. Absolutely a nightmare. I would never recommend.
