We stopped here to see the Falls. The place was packed, and there were only two female workers. They did a great job in staying cool, being as efficient as possible, and being friendly. The food was delicious. My husband and I both got burgers, a salad, and soup.

Gluten free Carrot cake with maple Carmel sauce, outstanding.

Service and food were awesome. Large gluten-free menu and beautiful atmosphere overlooking the reversing falls. Kit, our server was the best. We had burgers, which were very good and the maple chicken burger which had spicy honey spread which was very good. .

The Reversing Falls Restaurant is located inside where the Skywalk is located. We were on the Big Pink Bus tour that goes around Saint John and this was one of the stops. We were getting hungry at the time, so we decided to have lunch here as well. Our visit here was on October 3, 2019. When you first come in, you will see their gift shop, with lots of different trinkets and stuff bearing the Saint John name (including some of them emphasizing that it's Saint John, not Saint John's.). We took a quick look around before heading to the back portion, where the restaurant is located. We went to the host area, but took a moment for someone to come. Once they came, we were immediately seated. We were seated close to the back of the restaurant portion, but it was an awesome spot. We got to see the falls and even our cruise ship (Disney Magic) from the window seat we were at. Within a few moments, our server came to the table and asked us if we wanted anything to drink. We did get a few drinks and then continued to look over the menu. After she came back with the drinks, she asked if we were ready to order. At that point we were ready to order. I ended up going with something I don't see at home. I got the Elk Burger with fries as the side. My mom got the Fettuccine Carbonara (without mushrooms). About ten minutes later, our orders came out to the table. The food looked really good. The Elk burger looked like any type of burger you would get anywhere else, but it was elk instead of the typical beef burger. The elk burger was great. It had a good flavor to it, and had more flavor than a regular beef burger too. Elk is also a leaner meat, with less fat and even a lower sodium content. The fries were also really good and well seasoned. My mom said the Fettuccine Carbonara was very good as well. Our server would come to check on us a few times as well to make sure there were no issues. She asked at the end if we wanted any desserts, but we didn't need any. After eating, we took some time to take in views from the Skywalk, which will be covered in separate review. Overall, this was a great spot to stop at for lunch. Service and food were great. The views make it even better. Just remember that if you are from another country, make sure to use a credit card with no foreign transaction fees like I did, since all transactions are in Canadian Dollars. I like the way they do paying as well. They have a little tablet that they give you to do your payment with. That was a very easy process. Things happen for a reason, and it was a good one that we ended up here for lunch. If you are visiting or traveling in the area, this is a great place to stop and eat.

The lobster plate

Omg! The best clam chowder ever! You can tell it us made from scratch. A tiny bit salty to my liking but so perfect in so many other ways. The big appetites: take the seafood platter! Impressive!!! My mom had the lobster which was also loyal to its reputation! Careful for those in a hurry. This is our 3rd NB resto and service us slow everywhere. Got our appetizer salad and drinks served in the first 30 min but main dish got in at 90 minutes. Am not taking stars away as I realize it's à provincial pace of living ;)

Food and service were wonderful. The view is amazing!! I would recommend this place and will return if we are back this way. We ordered relatively easy/quick food but a nice dinner would be spot on!

It's really pays to make reservations - best table in the restaurant.

I highly recommend making reservations - it gets a bit busy at odd times of the day and you want to have a good seat to see the views. They have a great selection for Vegetarians and their dessert was to die for. I had the Ginger Molasses cake and shared it with my mother. They were kind enough to prepare it on two plates!

Sturgeon Cakes made with local sturgeon. Great caramelized onions and a great sauce.

This was just a great way to end the weekend on our Monday drive home. We started with great warm eggy rolls with a dried tomato butter and another round of rolls with a chive butter, both of which were great. Appetizers we got Sturgeon Cakes with local sturgeon, which was great. For dinner we had Lamb Shank and Scallop Carbonara. Both dishes were cooked perfectly. Scallops were seared, soft, and sweet with a great carbonara cream sauce that didn't bury their flavor which I thought it might. Bacon was balanced in it so it wasn't overpowering. The lamb I got to snag from my partner was very tender and cooked perfectly. She didn't let me try much more than a bite as she enjoyed it so much. The view was fantastic as well. I think we may have gotten the best seats in the house. Next to the lobster tank and able to look out over the rapids as tide and pattern changed. We finished with a chocolate chip creme brulee and a lemon tart. The lemon tart was a bit overly sweet for me and the chocolate chips did not make her favorite creme brulee ever, but the biscotti served beside it she really enjoyed.

The food is wonderful! We had the Rueben sandwich, elk burger, and the cheese plate. The sriracha mayo on the elk burger added an amazing flavor. The waitress was amazing! I was not impressed with management. They had a single waitress covering the entire restaurant. No hostess, no help. Add to that they offer a coupon on yelp but have failed to train their waitresses how to use it. We were delayed for some time due to this. I felt bad for the chef and waitress. Management, I hope you read this and put in some changes to help your workers.

Really great place to eat. It was my first time ever going and I was very impressed. The food was good and the staff very friendly. Honestly though, for the view alone I would go again even if the food was horrible. It was nice to just relax and watch the Falls.

Food & service was poor. Prices were high and menu was amateur and cooks appear untrained and inexperienced.

We recently travelled to NB for a family wedding and were delighted to find Peddlers Creek BBQ…read more The drinks were very good, a margarita and double caesar and we ordered the carnitas and brisket sandwich - hubby and I really enjoyed our food and would definitely recommend and return. The staff were excellent - very friendly. Enjoyed our early supper on the patio.

It was fairly quiet when we came close to 5pm on a Wednesday. It would be easy to miss if it wasn't for the BBQ sign at the entrance. It's located next to a Chinese and a McDonald's. The menu was simple and to my liking, pulled chicken, pork and brisket. Perfect BBQ food. The sides were unique and I've tried half of it so far. When you choose your smoked meat sandwich, you get the option of four sauces. Spicy, mustard/honey, sweet and original. They are all extremely delicious. The spicy one is a bit too much for me, but my colleague enjoys it. There really isn't a bad option. The service is very friendly and informative and the food is damn good, they smoke the meats overnight for 12 hours everyday. It pains me a little bit to see this place empty during lunchtime and a long waiting list at the McDonald's next to it. For the same price of a quarter pounder menu, you can get a delicious wholesome meal right here that won't kill you with artificial trash. My current favorite is the pulled chicken with homegrown sauce, add a homemade chicken soup to that and I'm golden. Give it a try, you will not regret it.

We had just gotten off a whale watch, and it was close to many restaurants' closing times…read more Everywhere we tried to go was too close to closing to let us in or they were closed. This was our only option before a 2 1/2 hour drive to Halifax. The service was good. Our server was very nice. But the food was... mediocre. The salad dressing came in little Kraft packets. The meals came with two veggie sides and mashed potatoes. The veggies -- carrots and parsnips -- tasted either canned or boiled or both. The mashed potatoes were clearly instant. I can't remember the last time I went to a restaurant and had food that was lower quality than I make in my own kitchen. The scallops were decent which was the only consolation as we had been looking forward to scallops from Digby since before our trip. The restaurant could also use a refresh. The inside looks like it's 1986. The air conditioning was also messed up and the inside of the restaurant was so cold I had to go get a long sleeved shirt from the car. And I am never cold. I rarely leave bad reviews, but I had to tell my honest opinion. I didn't even take pictures of our food which goes to show how disappointed I was.
