Stumbled upon here roaming around the New Brunswick Square food court, I myself love barbeque and can't get enough of it every time I'm in Texas - so I have high standards.
It was fairly quiet when we came close to 5pm on a Wednesday. It would be easy to miss if it wasn't for the BBQ sign at the entrance. It's located next to a Chinese and a McDonald's.
The menu was simple and to my liking, pulled chicken, pork and brisket. Perfect BBQ food. The sides were unique and I've tried half of it so far.
When you choose your smoked meat sandwich, you get the option of four sauces. Spicy, mustard/honey, sweet and original. They are all extremely delicious. The spicy one is a bit too much for me, but my colleague enjoys it. There really isn't a bad option.
The service is very friendly and informative and the food is damn good, they smoke the meats overnight for 12 hours everyday.
It pains me a little bit to see this place empty during lunchtime and a long waiting list at the McDonald's next to it. For the same price of a quarter pounder menu, you can get a delicious wholesome meal right here that won't kill you with artificial trash.
My current favorite is the pulled chicken with homegrown sauce, add a homemade chicken soup to that and I'm golden.
Give it a try, you will not regret it. read more
